Overlooking the town in the distance...multilevel rooms, just lovely. Fully controllable heating and cooling, excellent wi-fi. Great shower bath combination with plenty of hot water. High level of service, quite European. A luxurious place to stay. The hotel shop has closed evidently permanently, much to the disappointment of the shoppers.
Lovely quiet romantic hotel with lots of character. Good restaurant, wonderful view of town. Long walk to city center so we uber'd- less than 10 bucks including large tip. Beds very comfortable and clean, feels luxurious . I swam which was clean and quiet also.
Quiet, relaxing, secluded, comfortable, clean, appointed, courteous, spacious, green....what else does one want? I recommend this place, totally. it is away from the city center, so keep this in mind.
We stayed at the Hotel over Christmas week. Our room was semi-attached to another casita and we shared a patio and a great view. There is a small pool, a spa that we used, a business center which I used constantly, and a restaurant bar. We did not have a car and cabs were easy and the concierge found a great driver who spoke English who took us places. I wish I had one more day to just lie by the pool and enjoy the view during the day. I would recommend it as opposed the the hotels closer to town, Also, at night you have the advantage of coming home by the lighted aqueduct . The only negative is that the hotel down the street can be a little noisy but that could be because of the holiday season. The desk was great and you want to have pesos as they cannot change large amounts of money. …
The property is beautiful and the restaurant has a wonderful breakfast. Staff is helpful and the service at the restaurant is very good. Although it is too far (and we don’t mind a long walk) to really walk to Centro, it was easy to get Uber’s back and forth.
We spent three nights at this hotel. The room was very nice, but a little bit dark. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the view is spectacular. The parking space is good and its free of chatge.
Group reservation was not honored as confirmed. What was to be our "lap of luxury" night on our last day of an 8 night group tour, was less than a positive experience for some of our guests. A local wedding party was accommodated and our group was displaced, leaving a bad taste in our mouth on how this hotel manages and honors their group reservations and priorities.
This place is so very pretty. It was some mansion once upon a time. Now you get to wander the beautiful property and enjoy a view of the twinkling city lights in the evening. My wife arranged for a private dinner with loads of candles, rose petals everywhere, a 5 course meal, and a dessert cake that was out of a picture in a foodie magazine! This place has the serene comfort of a mexican Hacienda, but you do pay the price of some distance from the historical downtown. I loved it.
Excelent for a romantic honey moon or fammily reunion withch was our case, all the rooms are diferent, so every one gets to brag about the details of their own room most have a beutifull sight to the city of Morelia and on Christmas night we saw the catedral downtoun with fire works and it was just wonderfull, we had our dinner the 24th in the hotel and it all went as planned we weare a group of 17 !!!!!! A special tx to Raul in concierge he was quick in all our needs, Alan in front desk also and Maru Robles set us a very nice table for all 17 in yhe main dining room, we weare the last to leave the place thank you Maru
Just got back from a back in time experience in a top of the line hotel with a well-kept 1800's architecture balanced with all the modern comfort and amenities. It is nestled in top of a hill with an awesome view of Morelia. You can walk along paths surrounded by trees and vegetation. Food was also excellents with well balanced ingredients and flavors. Rooms elegant and cozy. And best of all: the people from the gardener to the hotel manager. Well, now I have to get back to the future.
