This is one of the best place in the entire lower mustang region of Nepal for 3 most primary reason: 1) perfect location for best views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Annapurna; 2) best altitude to acclimatised; 3) 7star hotel facilities with 10star service facilities at ~2500mtr. altitude; 4) has small day treks like Titi lake; 5) Big lawns with heaters, bonfire, tasty Indian & veg cuisine 6) Humble owner & manager of the Hotel
In terms of facilities they have full heater rooms with bed heater washroom heater room heater, bathtub, king size rooms with balcony’s having the view of Giant peaks.
Staff services handled by Mr Ram Dhitaal over there is unbelievable when he said that “Rooms and food for drivers are available, because we take care of them”. This clearly shows what hospitality means for them. While deep diving into the owners history I came to know the property is managed by Mr. Yogesh Gauchan Thakali, MP at Nepal. A very solid down to earth person who has supported, guided and taken out his time for making our trip to Muktinath great.

Our family came to this lovely place for one night and were pleasantly surprised by the rooms, the good food and nice atmosphere. This is a family owned place and everyone is trying their best to be of help. The rooms are very modern and although there is no heating in them the beds are equipped with electric sheets that kept us warm and cosy. The views from each room are breathtaking!

Kalopani guest house (guest house sounds bit deceptive' it's actually a boutique hotel) is a wonderful stay option enroute to muktinath from pokhara
a) Great rooms (various categories)
b) excellent staff and good food
c) two hours drive to muktinath
d) picturesque location - Annapurna range on one side and Dhaulagiri on the other

its all one of the best place (2500m) to accimilitize yourself before reaching muktinath (3800m)

This is my favorite hotel in the whole Mustang Valley. It has the best features, service, and views. There is only one premier hotel in this area and it is the Kalopani Guest house. The Gauchan family have been in the hospitality business for decades and it shows. They are excellent hosts.

The place was nice thats why caught our eyes.We found out the place was in hospitality business since long thats why firstly saw the room and come again. The person named Ram dhital was there.Firstly he was frank but later that guy named made our entire journey nightmare. When we ask why wifi wasn’t working inside the room he said you can leave outside.Later we asked him to take our order and no-one was available until 15 minutes. I myself went inside the kitchen and saw him making something for foreigner guest then i asked him please take our order as we are guest like foreigner too,the he arrived after 5 minutes and said on our face that we came there every 5 minutes and did kich kich and even said we showed him nepali para. This is how you behave with guest then we had discussion with him and he said Mantri aauxa samsad aauxa hamro ma.He treated us like we came there to stay and dine for free.I recommend the owner in there to keep people who have nice way of talking to guest and not always interrupting what guest is trying to say.As i am from the same hospitality business found this really disgusting and confused how they are running this property.
I advise all the people going here to treat the guy named Ram Dhital like king as you cant say anything and he got a fierce reply that can throb your heart.I saw every guest in there was frustrated because of the single guy in there.
I found out that the property was of some mantri and Ram dhital was the guy who was looking after that beautiful property thats why he was treating us we were there for free.
I am sorry to say but our stay in lete kalapani mustang was the worst among all our stay.
Thanks to person named Ram Dhital🙏

After a very long ride we decided to stop in this place. The expectations were very poor considering the building but at the contrary we had an amazing lunch with local foods and a lovely service. If you have the opportunity to pass through Kalopani you must stop here. Recommend.

I arrived for one night and stayed for four! I couldn’t leave. The staff are AMAZING, so welcoming kind and helpful. Views and walks outstanding. Such a cosy place to rest for few days. Comfy beds, good food out of my usual price range but couldn’t resist the treat.

The guesthouse has very good energy. Colourful prayer flags decorate the courtyard, behind the beautiful snow topped mountains.
The rooms are spacey, have a large bathroom and very comfortable beds. And they are very clean.
In November, it was already cold, but the restaurant has a "heated table" - hot coals are put under the table.
Diner and breakfast was a feast while the owners offered friendly und useful information.
Don't miss the sunrise over the beautiful mountain range all around.
Definitely worth a stay!!
