Great stay in a lovely location. This lodge was booked as part of our gorilla trekking experience by Kori Safaris. The service was excellent and friendly Morris went out of his way to make our stay special. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the meals were excellent. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The lodge was a real gem and recommended!

Probably the nicest lodge I stayed in during our trip. Excellent staff and excellent food. Rooms clean and very modern with nice balcony overlooking the valley. Nice and close to the Gorilla trekking staging area. Did our laundry for free!

This lodge was booked for us as part of our gorilla trekking tour with Achieve Safaris and we felt so lucky. The location is beautiful and secluded but best of all was the amazing staff. So attentive and lovely. They even took care of our filthy muddy clothes after or trek. The meals were outstanding (try the pan fried tilapia) and the room was comfy. Such a special treat to find a hot water bottle heating the bed each evening. We highly recommend.

Quaint and comfortable. This is a well situated lodge with about a dozen rooms and a very hospitable staff. Everyone who works at this lodge is beyond helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and well decorated with beautiful surroundings. The food is amazing and the chef goes out of his way to accommodate food preferences. An amazing lodge and a place I'd return to without hesitation.

We stayed at Ichumbi for one night ahead of going Gorilla trekking. The lodge staff were friendly, the rooms were nice with a beautiful view of the mountains, and the food delicious. It definitely delivers on what you would expect for a 4 star lodge. We used Jambo Tours Rwanda to book our trip, and would confidently recommend Ibrahim and his team to anyone interest in booking a trip to Rwanda or Uganda.
