We were making our way round Scotland booking rooms day to day, we liked the name of the Black Isle so we headed there up from Johnshaven on the east coast, the Fair Isle had a vacancy so we booked it, what a result right on the beach next to Chanonry Point where you can watch bottlenose dolphins play and... We were greeted by the owner who was very helpful with where to eat and even offered to book a table for us at the local Bistro as it is very popular gets extremelly busy. We stayed one night in a nice room with the biggest most comfortable bed we have ever had in a B&B. The breakfast room has... More

This is wonderful little Bed and Breakfast has three guest rooms and sets across the street from Rosemarkie Beach. Across the firth you can see historic Fort George and just a walk down the beach to the Fort Rose lighthouse you can see dolphins. David and Hanako Cameron are the most gracious hosts you'll ever want to meet and if... More

Enjoyed our pre-booked stay (just as well we had booked as very busy!) Warm welcome from Cameron, super sized room, very clean and fresh ensuite and breakfast overlooking the sea with the chance of seeing dolphins.

We booked a double room but got 2 uncomfortable single beds. Overall, this B&B is too regulated with notices everywhere about what not to do. If you like being dictated to on your holidays, then this is the place for you. The owners give the impression they are only in the business for the money and are seriously lacking in... More

Hello Michael N When you arrived we informed you we had a funeral to attend on your departure day we asked all guests to check out 30 minutes early. This was not a problem for other 4 guests except on day of departure it was raining and you didn't want to leave. You insisted to leave even later than normal... More

Stayed for 2 nights and we choose place because of the sea and dolfhins. The first information we got was too take of the shoes not so hospitably, the room was extrembly cold both evening and morning. We asked if we could eat own food in the lounge but not, we got permission too eat in the breakfastroom from the... More

Thank you mr anders carlsson for taking the time to let us know about your stay. I would like to respond to the points you have mentioned. As you can see by our other reviews, cleanliness is utmost; living with the beach at the end of the garden. All guests are requested to take shoes off at the door, I'm... More

We found this little gem on booking.com after having to spend a night in the car, being unable to find last minute accommodation around Ullapool. The location is idyllic, with the Moray Firth merely yards from the driveway. The weather had just cleared and the sun certainly helped our stay. David is very helpful and pointed out Penelope Keith's Bistro... More

We had a one-night stop on the way further north. The room was very comfortable and clean with a good bathroom. The selection of breakfasts was excellent, with one choice being home-made granola, yoghurt and fruit - a welcome change. Breakfast is served in a room across the front of the house, looking down the long garden and out across... More
