We had the Bluebells Cottage booked for a 3 night stay in November. The cottage is very colorful designed. The post bed is comfy and there is no shortage on pillows ;) There are many little surprises hidden in the design like wooden boxes and toys. We also liked the shots of port wine and enjoyed the bottle of bubbly wine. Unfortunately (?) the weather was so warm that we couldn't use the woodfire. The outdoor spa was very nice even though it wouldn't heat up at our arrival. All other days it was perfect. If we need to complain about something then it is the oven with the two hotplates. They take forever to heat up and are too close together to be used with both frying pans at the same time. A proper oven would be the better choice. The walk from Gembrook to Emerald via Cockatoo is also enjoyable. Just be sure you take your myki with you in case you miss the Puffing Billy on your way back ;) Check the schedule before you leave. All in all a very pleasant stay. Next time we would come in cooler weather and try the Harem cottage.

We stayed for our combined birthdays in July and loved every moment from the warm welcome and that feeling like no-one else had been there before us-great job guys!!!! We decided to settle in have a few drinks, watch a movie(lots to choose from btw) and then go down the road to the pub for tea-unfortunately the local closes down for the winter for a month which was a little disappointing but we got a chicken hamburger and a steak sandwich from the fish and chip shop across the road and took it back and we must say....very very nice!!!! We decided to go in the spa but unfortunately it was nearly cold by 9pm so was a little disappointed but our fault should have jumped in when we arrived when it was nice and hot. The breakfast was huge and very nice to see the old fashion provisions were included especially the hidden chocolates-very impressed!!!!! Keep up the good work......we would love to come back one day.

We stayed at Gembrook Cottages (Bluebell) over my birthday weekend. It was a very enjoyable stay - the hosts put in a lot of effort into hiding surprises around the place and making their guests' stay that little bit more special. The food provisions provided were above and beyond what was expected. I liked the quirky decor of the room and the outdoor spa was really great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and we will be back at some stage!

This is our 4th stay I believe and it never fails to be the best relaxing romantic get away! We stayed in the bluebells cottage again which is just fantastic because we are a huge fan of the jacuzzi outside. The bed is very comfy, the shower isn't good when you are really tall as the shower head is fixed and has minimal movement. Breakfast is supplied, eggs, bacon, mushrooms, bread, condiments for toast, milk and champagne. The cooling works brilliantly. We will come back again, hopefully sooner rather than later.
