Overall this was an excellent experience. The staff was excellent, the food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed the visit so much we bought a fractional in the 3 bedroom villas. We will return soon.
Peaceful place to relax. Very accommodating, the staff start from the day that you walk in are very welcoming, they treat you like you been there before. It's an awesome place to stay. The food is excellent, you must try Dahlia.
Breathtaking, Clean, relaxing, great service, delicious food, awesome cocktails. Our room was wonderful, relaxing and lots of space. The beach was clean and great service. The work out center was just what we needed. Next time I for sure will make an appointment at the spa. My friends went and said it was the best.
Truly everything at Viceroy Los Cabos was spectacular. The facilities of course are beautiful with stunning sitelines that made us want to take pictures all throughout our stay. Our room was top notch with everything we could've asked for in order to be comfortable. But, most importantly, the staff at Viceroy Los Cabos is what made our stay so special. Everyone seemed to want to go above and beyond for us. This is a very special place indeed.
Our stay at the Viceroy Los Cabos was truly exceptional, and the property is a must for anyone looking to have an unforgettable stay. While certainly iconic in photos, the resort's aesthetic features are even more impressive in-person. Smart design choices mixed with top-tier quality, the modern look-and-feel creates a sense of intimacy without feeling alienating. Despite 75% occupancy, the resort felt open and free, allowing my wife and I to completely relax and enjoy the best-in-class amenities. The warm, accommodating, and genuine staff are amongst the best I've experienced during my travels, and set the standard for luxury travel. In particular, Carlos Benavides (Room Division Manager), Armando Gonzalez (Food & Beverage Director - Cielomar), Irving & Aaron (Cielomar), Eduardo (Nidito), and the concierge staff made our trip one that we'll be raving about for years. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the quality and creativity of the Viceroy's food and beverage program. Every dish, cocktail, and mocktail was an occasion for excitement, and another reason why Viceroy Los Cabos is a cut above.…
We had a wonderful stay. The property was gorgeous and very clean. The service was wonderful, the staff was very nice and respectful. Thank you Edoardo at the pool for taking care of us! Definitely a must go to, very relaxing resort.
Viceroy management is awful; we (and other guests) were continuously ripped off. We reserved and were charged for an ocean view room, and were given a partial ocean view - tried speaking to the manager every day and were told he was in a meeting and they were fully booked. Gave him our cell numbers and he didn't even have the courtesy to call us. Then, we were charged the hidden "resort fee" which wasn't disclosed at the time of booking. The property was very nice, and staff (especially the pool) were excellent, but the resort management just ruined our vacation
We stayed at this hotel for 1 week and enjoyed every moment. From lounging on the day bed on the balcony or swimming in one of 4 pools - the place was restful and fun. It is on the beach - but the tides are such that swimming in the ocean is discouraged - or even not allowed. It was still nice to sit in the comfortable lounge chairs and enjoy the ocean view. One note - it is a long walk form the rooms to the hot tub - so bring everything you need to avoid travel time once you get comfortable. It is a short cab ride to central San Jose - but we walked it and enjoyed taking in the local sites (cows on the street at night) as we strolled.
We loved everything about staying here! Not only was the property beautiful, but everything was so comfortable and relaxing. We went in the off-season so it was a little quiet, but we actually ended up loving how peaceful it was. The food was incredible - the ceviche at the pool/beach was the best I've ever had. The rooftop bar is also a dream, we just wish it was open during the day!
PRICE GOUGING!! $40 FOR A BURGER!! $15 FOR TOAST?!! $16 FOR GLASS OF JUICE! Have stayed in five star resort so over the world. $50 for a glass of wine? Food prices ruin this place. +service 16% charge, plus tax, plus tip. Run-of-the-mill food. Might as well go somewhere else.
