Escape to 12 oceanfront acres in the heart of San José del Cabo. We offer breathtaking views, spacious suites with kitchens, a full-service spa, four restaurants, a kids' camp and six pools including a tri-level infinity pool. We're only a 20-minute drive from the airport and a mile from scenic golf courses.
Property, staff, amenities - all great. Not so much with the coporate end of things. Be very careful of the class or view of the room you book. Apparently there is a default of "Blocked View", which, although we booked 4 months in advance, never really showed on anything up until the confirmation the week before. We paid more, in advance, than the best-in-same-class room that was still available during out stay, but were somehow being put into a worst-classs room. After a LOT of discussion, we were moved into a ground-level 'ocean-view', that really looked up towards the pool. Not terrible, but still felt deceived and undervalued. Nice places to eat across the street, and a couple of really good places behind the LaComer (Lateral and ClaroFishJr.) within a reasonable walking distance…
The resort is beautiful and the staff are amazing! Ulysses was a great concierge and fun to joke around with. He set us up for a wonderful whale watching adventure with SunRider tours. We saw multiple whales and had the time of our life! All the security staff were great- but Uriel and Andres deserve a special call-out. They took great care of us and were so fun to get to know. The waiters were fabulous! Jesus, Alberto and Noe were are favorites. Miguel the bartender always treated us as friends. Huge thumbs up!
Great trip. Great resort. Highly recommend Cabo Azul (a Hilton Vacation property). Loved being in San Jose del Cabo. Was great to be able to walk to restaurants off resort. Resort had incredible pools, excellent service (two housekeeping per day which is insane in a timeshare), well appointed kitchens, nice happy hour. Only downside is beach wasn’t swimmable due to strong rip currents/undertow. We loved this trip. Traded via Wyndham points in RCI but seems to also be in II. (Skipped the “owner update. I have better things to do with my time and as a secondary market /eBay timeshare owner I’m not their market anyway). #sanjosedelcabomexico #cabo #timeshare
We stayed for a week. The room was very spacious and clean. The housekeeping staff were thorough and accommodated our timing excellently. The bellhops were very responsive to our needs arranging taxi service and holding our luggage securely during our early arrival and late departure. The staff providing service around the pool were both responsive and very courteous. A location and resort to which we will return.
We've been Diamond Resort members for 14 years and this was the nicest property we have ever stayed at. Our room was huge and super comfortable. The service was great. We ate four breakfasts at Flor De Norte and each one was delicious and perfectly prepared. The comfy pool chairs were relaxing and we always found two of them under a palapa (even if I had to go down by the pool at 7:00 AM to secure our chairs). Very happy visitors and we will be back for another visit soon!
This resort goes above and beyond in spoiling its guest. The layout of the resort is beautiful. The pool area and pool bar was very comfortable. The lounge chairs we so comfortable. The pool attendants and waiters take very good care of you. The only thing they need to change is the on site restaurant Javairs. The food is just ok, the service not very good and the prices are ridiculous. They have an on-site sushi bar that is very delicious. I can’t wait to return.
really a top notch place. my only complaint would be the beach. the sand is really rough and no swimming in the ocean hear. the facility is awesome, the staff is great and very attentive to your evey need. beware of the on site food places, they are expensive but right across the street and up the raod not too far is a grocery store and resonable resturants. beware of the time share people and presentations! high pressure and not such a good deal if you think it through.
Love the location. If you want an actual beach, with the ability to get in the water, not to mention one where you can walk for a couple of miles, this is the destination. A bit of a trip to get to town/marina ($35 by cab one way), but that's what we wanted. Food was excellent. Pricey for dinner, only $13 for a tremendous breakfast buffet. Only asterisk would be that if you are on a high floor, NE side of building, you do hear some traffic noise at night.
An amazing clean resort with plenty of staff to ensure you are well taken care of. We spent 3 weeks in a 2 bedroom. The kitchens are well stocked and the appliances are newer. There is an on site convenience store for the essentials but La Comer is a short walk to get everything you need. Take an Uber back with all your goods ( very cheap $7 cdn on the way there and $3.50 on the way back) You will need to as you have to buy bottled water for drinking and coffee etc. They do provide ice machines that use filtered water which is nice. There are restaurants and shops across the street. We ate at a few and all were amazing. A bit cheaper than the resort restaurants. La Forcheta and Latino 8, give them a try! They provide daily maid service and free laundry facilities for people who have longer stays. The only things that they could improve upon is a visible recycling program for the mountains of plastic cups and water bottles. Also places to refill water bottles and containers for people to have safe drinking water without all the waste, a dispenser beside the ice machines would be perfect!…
This is an amazing resort, but stay away from the pushy time share people that say they are your friend. "they are not" Especially if it is not in there favour. They coax you into a presentation promising you free stuff except it is a promotion for you to buy even more of there time share . This can last as long as at least half day of your vacation. When they do finally wear you down and talk you into a time share, it will cost you another half day for paper work and a empty wallet when you get home. The only thing on there mind is to extort your money for there own benefit all in one full day of your vacation. If you are lucky enough and get through there presentation, and lucky enough not to spend all your hard earned money on there product, you can spend another half day collecting all they promised you, for being there and "OH" so called free stuff, "not so free stuff" so they can spend more of your hard earned money, to line you up for another day at a Time share meeting Soooooo. If you are fortunate enough not to "sign on the dotted line" and forget about there free stuff, thats "not so free", you will most likely be better off and saved your money as well. "Beware", when you meet these people. They have one thing, and one thing only on there mind, and that is to have you purchase there product at any cost all in 1 day of your vacation. If it is to good to be true!!! Then it likely is!…
