I stayed in June. The staff was nice. I loved the room except that the jacuzzi that we paid extra to upgrade too never worked. That’s even after we called every night. There were different activities planned each day. Suggestions would be to not close the pools so early.

We returned to SPLC in early May for our 10th visit. As usual, it was absolutely wonderful. New this visit: Cabanas! It figures we took advantage only on our last day, at the Preferred pool. Cesar at the Preferred Pool is great, always attentive to guests and upbeat. Food: We had amazing meals; a couple of nights we were served filet and lobster tail. Delicious. Every day, sashimi and champagne by the pool (my favorite!). All our kids took such good care of us: Brenda, David, Martin, both Victors, Saul, Alejandro (our almost son!), Manuel, Francisco, Martin, the chefs – my feeble brain is spinning to remember all our kids’ names! All the restaurants were fantastic. I think I ate the best thing ever at Himitsu, at the sushi bar. Portions are huge, and we often find ourselves feeling guilty for not being able to finish everything. Drinks: Never watered down, always good. Cucumber-mint-jalapeno margaritas with a Tahin rim! Yum. Preferred Lounge – great selection. Ketel, Grey Goose (La Patrona is partial to vodka!). At the Rendezvous bar, Victor was a blur keeping up with the demanding guests. He’s amazing to watch. At the Preferred Bar, you can’t blink when Francisco makes a drink, you’ll miss something! Entertainment: Always top notch. Loved Los Leones again, great rock band. The Rendezvous bar always has nice options in the evenings. After 10 trips, this was the best fire dance show we’ve ever seen. It was like ballet juggling fire. Always enjoy the Three Tenors. They were fantastic. A new voice this time, booming and powerful. Then there was Shaggy, dancing with the entertainment group by the pool, and jumping in. Yikes. Room: Building 8, ocean front, the best. Love hearing the surf. For our 11th visit, I’m aching to get a corner master suite… Preferred Club Check-In: What a great team, all of you! Always attentive & helpful, even when there's alot of people at once, wanting things! Thanks, Johel, for booking our spa arrangements. Spa: I soooo love this spa. Such an ambience. Book a massage on a day that offers discounts, then it's less expensive. But the experience is worth it. There are lots of places to stay in Cabo. Weighing all the considerations – attentive & friendly “staff” (they’re family to us, not staff), great restaurants and entertainment, price point…we love this place. Already booked visit# 11. Only one wish: If SPLC could arrange some sort of a daily round-trip shuttle program for its guests to Cabo San Lucas, that would be fantastic!

I recently stayed at Secrets/Cabo for a girls trip. We had such and amazing time during our stay. Esteban and Chef Carlos (Himitsu Restaurant) completely rolled out the red carpet for us on our last night! Chef Carlos even delivered our main course, which was a fabulous surf and turf! Great resort and even better staff! Highly recommended! 💓

Room: clean comfortable Food : specialty restaurants excellent! Tons of vegetarian options. Ask for a vegetarian menu at el patio and Himitsu. Our waiter Martin on both occasions at Himitsu was awesome! The buffet had a few vegetarian options but slim pickings. Room service was great just make sure you order in advance the average time was always 50 mins. Drinks: I only had spicy mango margaritas and they were good! I only had one that was a little too spicy so after that they removed the jalapeños after shaking and all was well. Gym: average , clean, quiet, conveniently located Beach: too rough to get in but beautiful. Hope this helps 🕺🏿💃🏽

What a great getaway down in Los Cabos. I reviewed all the information my travel agent passed my way and chose this resort and I am glad I did. For an all inclusive and adults only resort, you definitely get taken care of from the moment you arrive to your departure. We were "preferred guests" but honestly all guests get treated very well. We tried most of the resteraunts on site and they were all very good. The golf was excellent. Go early, it gets hot on the course, but there is plenty of refreshments between holes. The wildlife is crazy when you travel the 18 holes. As far as the resort, my wife and I were there for nothing other than sun and relaxation. The main pool offered that as well as our swim in room. Look for the server Miquel, he is a very hard worker and has a very pleasant personality. He never let our drinks get very low until he was off to serve more. His boss Saul was always around to ensure our stay was great as well. The last day, Fernando was on his game working the beverages for many people. The gentlemen behind the bar work their tails off mixing drinks and pouring beer all day long. The catamaran ride out to the Arch was very relaxing. Good photo op. As far as the room, excellent. The sound of the beach pretty much woke us up every morning. Had no issues with the room at all. Only negative, be ready to decline the 90 minute presentation. If you proceed to go forth, you will receive a discount on something. I received a discount on Golf. Very nice presentation, but more like a time-share spin. As well as the Jewelry store FINI, they advertise a free charm and then won't have any when you go to redeem. Be patient and ask multiple times, you will receive something in place of advertisement. The check in and check out process, airport transports, etc were flawless. Go, enjoy and get pampered for a week. And alway ask for the Grande Mimosa!! and Tequila.
