We have stayed at El Ganzo many times over the last 5 years. Everysingle time the hotel is run better. The staff is super professional, value is superb, and it has the best beach club in Cabo if you do not own a 20million dollar Villa. It truly is one of its kind. Management is helpful, young, and dynamic. Food is great and the size is perfection. Social when you want it to be and private when you need it.
El Ganzo has a really cool boho artistic vibe, with fun art installations throughout the property, an awesome infinity pool and a great beach with covered cabanas, lounges and food service. The room was ok. small but boho quaint. The views were beautiful. But the music. Ugh the music. So so loud all day long and late into the night. If you like super loud club music then this is your place. It’s blared by the pool, at the beach club, at the restaurant and from the roof top into our room. We couldn’t get away from it. We finally left to go to dinner at Acre (highly recommend!) just to get away from the music pounding in our heads. The last night we were there the music finally stopped at a decent hour. What a relief. We found out the reason the next day, it was because someone had called the police for them to turn down the loud music. Glad we weren’t the only ones who felt that way. Hoping it was an anomalie and a particular event being celebrated that weekend because we would really like to go back to El Ganzo as the other amenities were so lovely and worthy of our vacation time and money.…
Stayed at the El Ganzo on our mini-moon and the suite was amazing for the price. Beautifil water views from every window, three spacious rooms, huge bathroom & closet - although a few paint stains in the sink and the rain shower feature was broken but the other shower head was great - nice deck to watch the live music below from, big comfy bed. The rooftop pool was so fun, lots of great daybeds to lounge in too, great service from the bar staff although wanted higher quality cocktails for the price. The beach was also great with amazing lounge options and quick service. Overall, hotel food/drinks were fine. Not bad but nothing incredible so good for a pool snack but make dinner plans at Acre or another nearby spot that is way better for comparable price. We had amazing massages at the Spa and loved wandering the hotel seeing all the art installations. It was so cool. My one complaint was I showed up for the evening yoga and no one else did, including the teacher, but maybe I was supposed to sign up? They did not make it clear. I feel like for a 5 star hotel I wish they had more attention to detail and communication but would happily stay there again and had an amazing time. It was super cool. …
The hotel is nice, the beach club is nice. The only thing is, everything closes so early. The rooftop bar closes at 6:30, the downstairs bar close at 8. It's an adult only hotel that has kid curfew times. When I say curfew times, I mean everything close so early, it feels like you have to be in your room. Of course, you can leave the resort and come in anytime, but there is nothing around the hotel, so in order to get anywhere you have to uber or take a taxi. The area surrounding the hotel isn't very pleasant looking.
I had a wonderful experience this month in cabo, an I close my trip with a great Weeknd in cabo, I had a wonderful time I hope to come to the 10 year celebration in October, thanks to the staff, see you next time.
Overall enjoyed our stay, private type location, staff was really nice and friendly, food was a bit pricey, would be nice addition to have an onsite convivence store/shop, some upgrades, make outside eating more enjoyable by adding something to eliminate flies.
From the lobby, to the bar, to the rooms, to the rooftop...everything is impeccable. Perfect design between luxury and authenticity. I've stayed at properties all over the world and haven't been completely blown away in a long time. This place did it. As if it couldn't get any better, they are actively involved in local dog rescue and their products are all eco-friendly. Add to all of this, the staff is pleasant and the entire place has great energy. Highly recommend.
Everything you need for a holiday by the sea. Sea-facing comfortable room for those essential naps, chilled rooftop pool area with endless cocktails, and a private beach for dips in the Pacific. We did not want to leave!
I strongly recommend Hotel el Ganzo, staff is extremely professional specially Diego Torres as organizer of my proposal and our wedding two months later, the location of the place can't be more perfect, super quiet and romantic, full of local art in the entire facility, the scenery in the beach club, rooftop, rooms and Restaurant is outstanding.
My stay at El Ganzo was such an amazing experience. The restaurant food was great!! The drinks were really good. DJ music all around. Kinky played at the beach club. The afternoon snacks delivered to our room was an awesome touch. The hotel design is fresh and different in a good way. The roof top pool and hot tub had insanely amazing views. I loved everything about my stay
