This review is long overdue. This was my second time staying at El Delfin Blanco. I originally stayed on my honeymoon. After my first visit it was obvious that anytime I returned to Baja, I would stay at El Delfin Blanco. Osa and Flor are such beautiful, kind, and amazing people. Osa cares deeply about San Jose, the locals, and the culture. She cares equally for her guests. At El Delfin Blanco you are a traveler not a tourist. I implore anyone traveling to San Jose to stay here - you will get an authentic version of San Jose. You will be in great hands while staying with Osa and Flor. Thank you for everything Osa y Flor! I hope to be back this year or the next for more surfing and exploring around your beautiful town and surrounding area. Much Love, Jonathan.

Every year I like to spend part of my winter break from teaching school at El Delfin Blanco. Asa the owner and her housekeeper Flor are the most accommodating & friendliest of people. Each casita is clean and quaint, & the outdoor kitchen is perfect for whipping up a quick breakfast, eating while enjoying the sea view. Just a short walk to the beach for a swim and I can relax & read a good book. Asa arranges excursions & can recommend different activities. It’s a lovely quiet place to recharge.

Always arriving with such a great spirit, this is the charm of our business, to have guests, if they return you meet them as friends and some time later it is having loved ones coming back. Thank you for all these years, hope we will meet again next holiday season All the best for 2019 Osa

I fricken LOVE El Delfin Blanco! This place is for real people who want a real Travel experience. Not a cush tourist place, but an authentic, adorable "rustic" boutique hotel. You get your very own cabana where you can cuddle up at night and during the day the big wide beautiful beach "La Playita" is a block away. This place is so sweet, the owner Osa, is a feisty Swedish woman who takes extra special care of you, Flor, the cleaner, gardener, handy woman is there if you need help with anything at all. There is a breakfast nook with a gorgeous view of the ocean....and Meo the guard cat will be around to protect you. Get away from the gross tourist junk and get a taste of the real Mexico. Try the Drunken Sailor restaurant for the best Ceviche Verde in the world...just a walk down the street. I have stayed here for 2 long visits and I know I will be coming back forever!

We stayed for 3 nights at El Delfin Blanco in January before a dive trip to Socorro. The setting is very peaceful - outside of San Jose del Cabo in a quiet village. You stay here and you experience the real Mexico - have breakfast at the shack where all the fishermen eat before an early start, catch the local bus into San Jose del Cabo, walk along the beach to the Estero for incredible birdwatching. Osa is a real character and passionate about Mexico and the environment. The room was lovely - really comfortable and beautifully decorated. A must-do is to have Osa's Swedish pancakes on the terrace with home-made jams. Fantastic. Osa goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect - she gave us lifts, booked a driver and even came to see us when we returned from our dive trip to make sure we found our booked driver. We loved hanging out with Osa and chatting about her long time in Mexico. This is a place for travellers not tourists - take your time and enjoy the tranquility.

We had a lovely peaceful 4 days! We ate our breakfast overlooking the ocean, utilizing the outdoor kitchen. My husband and I love that it is a short walk to the beach for swimming. If you are into exercising it is conveniently located for walking and running around the nearby Puerto Los Cabos development. Osa arranged a private whale watching excursion for us that was very reasonably priced & successful, we saw 10 whales and at least 30 dolphins & even a sea turtle! This is not an upscale crowded hotel, rather it is a property with cute cabanas & garden with the old time Cabo feel that is becoming harder to find. Perhaps that is why we come back each year!
