Wow! This resort and it’s staff are one of a kind. The grounds, food, rooms, beach, and especially staff and service were truly unforgettable. As an example: my phone fell from my chair to the floor and a staff member quickly retrieved my phone inches from my feet. The trees and flowers all over the grounds are a paradise in a desert. The in-room food that showed up throughout our visit and the routine room cleaning and service was exceptional.
I very rarely write reviews however, I left in this case it was so necessary. My husband & I just returned from a 4 day trip to the One & Only Palmilla. Everything about this resort is perfect. We left our kids at home but saw lots of families here and we cannot wait to return with our boys. The hotel is beautiful it feels more like a home than a hotel. The grounds are breathtaking & most of all the staff. They are an absolute credit to the hotel. They will do everything they can to make the stay perfect. I would say this hotel is perfect for couples, families, generational trips. It really has everything to offer
We must say that One&Only is the best resort we have ever traveled to, not only for the amenities but for the services and kindness and how amazing you are treated at every step. You feel at home and part of a family, making it challenging when the day of departure arrives. We will be back.
One and Only Palmilla has the finest staff service. Everyone is friendly & is 100% dedicated to assuring that you enjoy every moment of this first class facility. Great pools, beautiful rooms and grounds and rooms, food and wine all for guests happy.
This was a truly amazing trip in every way. This is a lovely property and worth it's status as one of the best hotels around. The hotel gets 5 Stars. However, the staff gets 6 Stars! They really made the trip for us. From our Personal Hosts Paula and Diego who literally checked in 2x a day to see if there was anything they could do for us and who surprised us with roses, wine and chocolates in our room for our Anniversary, to the Pool staff who refreshed our lounge chairs, refreshed the ice bucket and free water all day, and jumped to shift the umbrellas if they needed moving. I never felt like anyone had their hand out like they do at other "stuffy" high end hotels (I mean you Ritz). Everyone really seemed honestly thrilled to be there and love their jobs and wanted to help in any way possible. We will be back.…
We have stayed at this resort many times and recently spent three nights in a one bedroom suite. We were glad to be back in the property. It was great, but there are some areas where they have kinks. The good The location is truly the best. It’s on the best beach in Cabo and every room has an amazing view. The beach is sometimes like a giant swimming pool aquarium. In June the rays jump and there are so many fish - it’s awesome. The beach chairs are also great and there are plenty of them. There are many awesome staff, some of whom remembered us from previous visits, which was very special. Agua is great. The kinks Prior to arrival, I had to email guest services twice to receive a response about booking transport. No one responded to my first email. Upon arrival, our room did not have conditioner. No one brought until until turn down service. I needed it when I asked (before dinner, after I’d been swimming in the ocean), which is why I asked multiple times. The hours at the gym (at the time of our visit) were from 7am to 7pm. This is not at all competitive with similar properties. I was super annoyed when I got to the gym at 630 to find it locked. Like, what the heck? Why would the gym not be open at 6am? Housekeeping seemed to have thrown out my razor, which was in the shower. Again, not a big deal and I’m sure it was a mistake but really annoying as the hotel razors are horrid. I asked about it and was told they’d look into it for me. There was no follow up. The food at agua is great but unfortunately that’s the only place we ate. I’m not sure why they still have two indoor restaurants (one of which is a steakhouse). Who wants that? Overall it’s still a great property but it feels like it’s lost its mojo a bit. We visited similar properties with swimmable beaches during the pandemic and they didn’t have kinks. Those properties are also great. I’d consider staying at the Palmilla again, but I’d say it’s perhaps not my first choice anymore. I think we’ve maybe stayed there 11 or so times and it just feels like other places have gotten better (or opened ) and this one needs to modernize a bit. It feels very old school and sometimes that’s annoying. It’s particularly annoying as it relates to response times, which are better at the other properties with swimmable beaches. Last note that I wish they’d transition away from plastic bottles.…
Truly the most beautiful and customer centric resort in Mexico. The people employed at this resort make the experience one of a kind. Outstanding Service. This is our second visit to Palmilla, and it will not be our last!
My husband and I have stayed at many resorts of this caliber, and this is BY FAR the best service and hospitality we've ever experienced. Literally did not have a single interaction over the course of a full week that wasn't above and beyond. The location is unbeatable, the spa was the best one I've been to, great food and drink...the list goes on and on. It's very expensive at the hotel, that's literally the only thing, but honestly, I know why! There is no where quite like this place. We can't wait to come back!
Gray facilities amazing staff but terrible over priced food. Resort charges for tap water and is extremely distasteful. Staff was extremely friendly room was extremely clean with a lot of attention to detail
Our favorite place in Palmila . Beginning of June is amazing weather and warm and quite ocean . One and Only is the best place to relax, service and facilities are top notch . Stuff is very knowledgeable and polite. Highly recommend to spend at least 3-4 nights there . Incredible breakfast, rooms , views , surroundings. We are great full for their hospitality. Very personal approach. We will be back
