Nestled in the heart of San Jose del Cabo, Casa Natalia Boutique Hotel emerges as a charming haven with its beautifully unique rooms and inviting atmosphere, cherished by many guests. The hotel's central position near the Plaza and art district makes it a prime spot for exploration. Patrons often extol the virtues of the fresh, personalized breakfast and the hotel's cleanliness. While the spacious rooms with balconies are a hit, some suggest they could benefit from modernization. Despite mixed opinions on its value, the attentive and professional service at Casa Natalia consistently earns high marks from travelers.

We decided to stay here in order to enjoy the Thursday evening Art Walk in San Jose due to its location being right on the town plaza. It is a very nice boutique hotel but I have to admit I was expecting more given the price. We splurged on a superior room and with all the extra resort fee and taxes, it came to $354 Cdn. The room was a good size with comfortable king bed and sitting area, and a nice private patio overlooking the pool area. While they make it seem “boutique-y” by putting flower petals on the bed, it would be better for staff to concentrate more on thorough cleaning. The small windows that open to the side street were dusty and there was dirt in the corners of the room. The superior room is supposed to come with upgraded amenities but not sure what that means...the small bottle of bathroom lotion was obviously already used and only refilled to half level. However, the room was very quiet and we did have a good stay so four stars. At half the price paid, then I would call that good value.

Away from the hordes in Cabo San Lucas, this hotel has delightfully different rooms, decorated individually, a very pleasant and helpful staff (especially Valeria, who guided this food lover to great places to eat), a location right on the main plaza, and all at a reasonable cost. We stayed two nights before a whale shark snorkeling trip off La Paz and then one more night at the end of our journey. The food at their restaurant, Mosaic, was exceptionally good.

For our last two nights in Baja Sur, I can't remember how I chose Casa Natalia, but I'm so glad I did! After roughing it in other parts of Baja for a week, this charming and beautifully designed hotel was a welcome luxury. All aspects of the rooms and property were designed with an impressive attention to detail in terms of room layout, ventilation, light, decor, bathroom/closet space. The crisp white walls and sheets punctuated by (in the case of the Otomi room) bright traditional embroidery made me want to move in and live there! The waterfall in the pool provides white noise which drowns out the city traffic and airplane noise.

Dinner at Mi Cocina was very good, with excellent and friendly service on the part of all staff members that we interacted with. Juan Pablo, the restaurant manager, and the bar staff, Kevin and Karim, were great, as was Angelica at the front desk.

Loved the delicious coffee awaiting us downstairs in the mornings.

For US travelers, a clinic where you can get the requisite Covid test prior to re-entry to the US, is located right next door to the hotel.

My husband and I are frequent travelers to Mexico, and we avoid the resort scene. For visitors looking for a more personal, relaxing hotel, I would absolutely recommend Casa Natalia.

Just stayed for a week at the Casa Natalia, booked at the recommendation of friends who knew we did not want to stay in a gigantic resort hotel. Casa Natalia is an oasis of calm just off the old town plaza in San Jose del Cabo, with a charming terraced courtyard leading down from the very nice restaurant seating area to a pool surrounded by palm trees and bouganvillea. We liked being able to walk out the front door and see the local Ballet Folklorico practicing on the plaza stage, or walk the other way and be birdwatching in a truly lovely estuary reserve in fifteen minutes. Valerie, Cesar and Nayelli at the concierge desk were always ready to answer questions about tours, the local bus transportation, banking hours and so forth, and went out of their way to help us have a good experience. We don't speak much Spanish and their English is very good. The Arts Walk on Thursday evening was colorful and festive. We participated in the free salsa lessons on Sunday evening on the plaza (the only brave gringos out there). Our superior room Luna (with breakfast included) was spotless, faultlessly decorated, with a high end bathroom, a lovely balcony with seating and a hammock. The seafood risotto at the restaurant was very good, and the flank steak Argentine was also delicious. We also tried the pork tacos served at the taco stand in front of the closed Marine Museum on the plaza and they were wonderful. Casa Natalia is well-situated for a more local and authentic experience of Baja California, and we enjoyed our stay there immensely.

I arrived after a 36 hour journey from England. The place is in the heart of the old town and has under 20 rooms. They are all beautifully appointed and mine had a private balcony where I was able to have a peaceful breakfast. They have ensured that one is sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the town centre in a lovely setting with cascading water and a small swimming pool. I had a delicious 6 course evening meal which was a taster for all the local cuisine. The courses were small which figures with so many things involved. It is best to avoid the B & B formula which is restricted to a handful of choices. One has to remember that for breakfast each item is priced separately. The staff were helpful, cheerful and bent over backwards to ensure one's stay was great. At least by staying in such a place in the heart of things one is able to get a feel for the people and the town which the monster resorts on the coast do not do.

Casa Natalia is one of the most relaxing, beautiful, and comfortable hotels I've ever stayed in. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in San Jose Del Cabo. The whole place feels like a charmingly dreamy oasis and yet it's right in the middle of the main plaza. You really get the best of both worlds here. You enjoy a perfect central location in a very walkable part of town, just blocks away from great restaurants, bars, micro-breweries, tequila & mescal tasting, art galleries, and more. You also enjoy the cozy intimacy of this gorgeous hotel, the friendly & attentive staff, and your beautifully decorated room. If you want to lounge by the pool all day reading your book and drinking a few Pacificos, you can do that and be in heaven. You could also spend your days staying active, doing day trips to Todos Santos and snorkeling off the tip of the peninsula (as we did a few days) and just use Casa Natalia as a relaxing home base to recharge your batteries afterwards. You really can't go wrong if you stay here. We were thoroughly delighted for our entire stay. They made this one of our most memorable vacations to date.

Cesar at the front desk helped us book multiple tours and gave us helpful advice for the best beaches to visit (don't miss out on Palmilla!) and the best restaurants to try.

We dined at the Mi Cocina restaurant one night and were delighted by the caliber of the food and the excellent white wine from the Valle Guadalope.

As context, my girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights in October. COVID-19 was certainly in the background of our trip but I was impressed by the staff's dedication to masks and their helpful professionalism throughout our time there. They helped arrange transportation from and back to the airport at either end of our stay and were consistently the ideal combination of friendly, attentive, and respectful of our space & privacy.

I'd highly recommend staying here. I know we'll be back!

Our stay at Casa Natalia was delightful. The accommodations are lovely, spacious, clean and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The concierge went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay in San Jose Del Cabo. We enjoyed being able to relax at the peaceful poolside and then be an easy walk to a variety of restaurants. The location of this boutique hotel is perfect to be able to enjoy the historic town, the art galleries, great restaurants and the joyous spirit of the plaza in the evenings. We are very happy that we stayed at Casa Natalia and recommend it without hesitation!

We stayed one night in this boutique hotel and were made very welcome. We particularly liked our room, Azul, with its own balcony and with plenty of space in m the super king size bedroom. The shower was excellent and bathrobes were provided. There is a small pool and hammocks nearby. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Wi-fi is provided. The beach is too far away to walk to comfortably but a shuttle bus is provided by the hotel which leaves at 11 am and returns at 5. There is a minimum consumption charge of 500 pesos at the beach club. The hotel will lend you each chairs, shaded and towels. The hotel has an attractive bar and restaurant and there are plenty of others outside.

Do not stay here!! My wife and I are very easy going and flexible travelers but we feel completely scammed and had a very frustrating experience at this hotel. We checked in and received our keys around 7PM. At that time staff gave us a set of keys which included a room key and a key to access the main entrance. They showed us the room and we left to get dinner. We returned with our bags at 11 PM and to our surprise the main entry key did not work. We tried multiple times and the key ended up snapping in half in the door handle. We called multiple times and waited and knocked with no response. We ended up sleeping in our car as it was too late to find a room elsewhere, leaving the room we reserved completely untouched. The next day we returned with they keys and staff declined to refund the room stating that it was non refundable and must have been our fault because all other guests were able to enter the property. I felt that because we didn’t have access to the building, let alone the room we paid for that their non refundable policy did not apply. There was no staff to assist with our emergency that night and we never used the room and they refused to refund. Terrible business practices that I would have wanted warning about before staying. Skip this place!

Cute hotel sitting on an (amazing functional ) downtown plaza with lots of restaurants and shopping. (Very artsy) You won’t need a car and uber can take your to a nearby beach club run by the Ganza hotel in partnership with Casa Natalia, ( check ahead for availability as they can fill up or have events), Chillano beach or Santa Maria bay. The beach club was my favorite swimmable beach with nice loungers, food, beverage and best of all No merchants asking you to buy stuff like on Cabo San Lucas beaches.

The vibe around San Jose Del Cabo downtown is so much nicer and chill than Cabo San Lucas. If you are a young troublemaker looking for a party town, go to Cabo San Lucas, if you want to be trapped at a overpriced resort with two working restaurants, insane parking fees and everything a half hour drive away, stay at a corridor beach resort but if you want a quiet, chill authentic Mexican vacation in a safe area, stay at this hotel or any of the others in San Jose Del Cabos’s downtown area.

Also, the hotel itself has a nice courtyard with small pool, hammocks and lounge chairs. Bar pours good drinks and a restaurant is open for dinner to public. Helpful front desk to plan stuff to do and they have free beach umbrellas and chairs for the public beaches.

For me, as of last year, they do not do refunds. They were great working with us to reschedule, which we had to do several times, but no refund. We were there this past May (2022), so things might be different now.
