We just spent 10 days here, 2 couples celebrating 3 March birthdays. This is an amazing boutique hotel, right on the square with outstanding staff, food and service. The owner made our stay even more special by sending us a bottle of Champagne, just because she could. So appreciated all the staff, all the extras, truly a most memorable holiday. We will be back, thank you!

We decided to stay here in order to enjoy the Thursday evening Art Walk in San Jose due to its location being right on the town plaza. It is a very nice boutique hotel but I have to admit I was expecting more given the price. We splurged on a superior room and with all the extra resort fee and taxes, it came to $354 Cdn. The room was a good size with comfortable king bed and sitting area, and a nice private patio overlooking the pool area. While they make it seem “boutique-y” by putting flower petals on the bed, it would be better for staff to concentrate more on thorough cleaning. The small windows that open to the side street were dusty and there was dirt in the corners of the room. The superior room is supposed to come with upgraded amenities but not sure what that means...the small bottle of bathroom lotion was obviously already used and only refilled to half level. However, the room was very quiet and we did have a good stay so four stars. At half the price paid, then I would call that good value.

Sure, there are lots of oceanfront mega resorts near San Jose del Cabo. And for some, those offer the ideal getaway. But for us, spending a week at Casa Natalia was just what we needed. This wonderful boutique hotel offers lovely quiet grounds, wonderful service, amazing access on foot to a lovely town with tons of shops & galleries, and an astonishing number of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. And the lovely estuary and beach are just short walks away. At Casa Natalia, owner and hostess Natalie has created a home away from home, with beautiful grounds, a lovely small pool, relaxing hammocks, a nice bar with happy hour options, and a wonderful concierge team. The rooms are not ultra modern, but they’re clean and spacious...and the private balconies offer lovely morning relaxation (be sure to pay for the breakfast included option!). We did not eat at the restaurant, as there were few if any vegetarian options for us, but the food looked fabulous and the diners are obviously well taken care of. And, again, there are tons of nearby dining options! Being on the main square was also fabulous, as many evenings there were artists or events...clearly SJDC is a very family oriented town, where local people enjoy spending evenings with their children roaming the square. While seven nights might be too long for some, we would recommend that if you stay at Casa Natalia that you consider at least a 4 night stay...you won’t regret it!

we finished our trip to Baja with two nights here. it is a stylish and quiet hotel with a beautiful courtyard containing the restaurant and pool area. it was very calm and quiet despite being in the centre of San Jose and a perfect base to explore the town or just relax. we enjoyed the restaurant and the staff were very friendly and efficient

This was our first experience on a 12 day vacation to Mexico and we were delighted with this boutique hotel. The concierge Caesar was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and writing this post 8 more hotels we can vouch for the best magaritas which we became very attached too. We highly recommend this hotel.
