First off I just have to say thank you to: Dulce, Rafael and Iris Concierge, and all of the following staff at The Westin Los Cabos:(*Margaritas bar /Pool concierge- Mario, Jesus, Carlos, *Cocina Casera restaurant- Maricruz, Hector C, Victor, Edgar, Omar, Hernandez, Polanco, *Coralline restaurant- Sergio, and so many other Westin staff members, Housekeeping staff my room was perfect.) From the staff, to my room with the ocean views, the food, the service and the overall care that was provided to me during my stay was unbelievably superb! They practiced covid-19 standards and policies. I usually always find something to complain about on a trip my only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer. You all made my Solo birthday trip so special, and memorable and I will definitely be back. I plan to let all my friends and family know this is the place to stay when in Los Cabos Mexico. Amazing week long stay at the Westin. They are absolutely adhering to Covid protocols - I felt safe the entire time & everything is so clean. Staff is so helpful, quick to help, and kind. Alon & Jesus helped us most of the week & they were both SO amazing. Always anticipating our orders for more drink/food and just all around nice. I really love the set up of the hotel too - Very spaced out & safe. Highly recommend. The views are incredible, the rooms spacious, wi-fi is really strong. We definitely will be back.
I stayed in a studio room on the 8th floor (room 1840) New Year's week 2020/2021. My boyfriend and I had never been to Cabo before. And for our first time in Cabo, I'd say we were satisfied with our stay at the Westin. Positives: -Lobby and check-in experience. The staff had already read all of my notes on my booking.com reservation and the room was available before the designated check-in time. -Welcome margarita at check-in was delicious! -Followed COVID protocols -Brought towels, sheets, toiletries and collected our garbage within minutes of calling -Uber pickup area around 500 feet from the lobby - Concierge communicated with Fresko to organize a grocery delivery Critiques: -The "250-count cotton sheets" felt scratchy. -Average quality food ( did not expect to feel the need to order groceries) - Many stairs and walkways blocked off - Having a mini-mart (prepared food reminded me of college food) screamed timeshare, not Westin. I have stayed at a few Westin branded hotels in the past ( ex. the Westin Aruba and The Westin Europa & Regina in Venice, Italy). In Cabo, the resort's grounds and food need improvements to meet the Westin standard. I think these changes can still be implemented even with COVID restrictions in place. We traveled with friends who stayed on the same property at the Club Regina. The only noticeable difference between our room and theirs was the kitchen appliances, shower, and updated TV's. Otherwise, the facilities and vibe at Westin were 99% equal to Club Regina. Felt like a 3.5-4 star hotel or a timeshare. We arrived at The Westin Los Cabos on New Year's Eve. It was our first visit to this resort and it won't be the last! The resort is gorgeous and the views are all amazing! But most important was the kindness and hospitality of every employee we met during our stay. I wish I could remember all of the names but there are so many! Our last dinner there, we ate at Cocina Casera and we were lucky enough to have Edgar as our server. He was so funny and engaging. We had a great dinner and he helped to end our vacation on a high note. We can't wait to return next year!!
I took my first solo international trip and wound up staying at The Westin. Staff was super helpful and the hotel was at 50% capacity due to COVID. I usually don't stay at resorts, but this experience was lovely. One of my highlights was meeting and getting to know the pool concierge David A. David was one of the kindest people during my stay and was helpful in so many ways. As a single female traveler it helped me to feel at ease to have someone on site who I felt was looking out for me often. The view from every room is amazing (I stayed in two locations) and the suites made me feel right at home. Thank you all for your assistance. I plan to return!
