Had a good time with my family who are all above 21. No accessible beach, but you can still sit by the sand and have some drinks and food. Rooms are good too. Food is average at best, but what else can you can expect from an all inclusive hotel. Still a great spot to hang out and drink. Hugo in activities really went above and beyond by making sure we were enjoying our pool hangouts with comfortable chairs and assuring us he can accommodate any taxis or trips we will need.
This was our 4th time in Mexico [resorts]. We've been to Cancun, Tulum, Puerto Vallarta, and now Cabo and stayed in multiple resorts. This place ranks #2 overall, a very nice resort. Very clean, extremely clean actually and the staff maintain the property very well during these COVID times. We had an Ocean-View room and it was a pretty standard hotel room (Suites are larger). The hotel does look very much like the pictures posted, its very calm/serene/spa-like. Its NOT a large property, fairly small actually. We were at low capacity mid-January when we went (normally their busy season and packed but I heard numbers around 30-40% capacity from the staff). This was very nice as not a lot of guests on the beach, or at the pool, dinner REQUIRED reservations but we never had a problem getting in (if you don't do the reservation early, you will have a late dinner as they'll have to squeeze you in late). Also, this property is QUIET. If you're looking for activities or lots of things to do, this is not the place. At night, its just the bar/firepits/restaurant. Thats it. Very quiet. SUNSET is more bustling for activities. Rundown of amenities: The gym was phenomenal, all new equipment and beautiful views, open early/late. The Spa we did not try. The pools were nice, clean, a little bit cold (its January, right), and they have an outdoor Hot Tub pool also which was very nice when we were chilly from the pool. Swim-up bar was nice, quiet. Lots of space outdoors to have a snack/lunch during the day. We stayed on the beach mostly. Unless you are staying in the TOWERS, the cabanas are $40/day rented. For the food, we loved the all-inclusive. Liquor was great (included some top-shelf, others were extra), there are 3 restaurants and they are all very good. We had breakfast/lunch at Siempre, dinner at Peninsula Baja. There are only 3 restaurants so options are limited, but the food was very good. IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: this is a time-share property. You have the option of sitting through a timeshare presentation. They also have multiple sister-properties in Cabo, we went frequently to the Sunset resort (right next to Pacifica). Sunset is HUGE, has many restaurants, and is family friendly. We loved the Market there. If you're going to these resorts, definitely do the all-inclusive option. SHOUTOUTS to staff: Hugo fro activities, Gabrielle from activities, Fernanda from concierge, Amado from bartending…
You are not allowed into the hotel unless you step into a machine which sprays you down with chemicals, every time you go in. Stupid idea! We were promised discounted golf if we did the 90 minute time share spiel. 2 1/2 hours later we did not get it unless we paid cash which we didn’t bring with us. High pressure sales and a complete rip off! Avoid at all costs!!!! Some restaurants are closed and not like it used to be. We are very disappointed and will never come back! Wendy
A cloudy morning and perfect for hiking, we went up the mountain with Hugo to the lighthouse, Hugo's company was always very good and he explained things about the city, plants and animals that inhabit the place, it was a very good experience and he recommended us to have breakfast in quivira house club excellent day of hiking 😉
We were so pleased with our stay at pueblo bonito pacifica! All of the staff were so diligent in the cleaning and sanitizing of everything that came into the hotel and all of the restaurants were super clean and we felt so safe coming there for our honeymoon! Our bartender Alan was so friendly and made our stay so much better. He is the hardest working server and he is such a genuine guy. We really loved getting to meet him and he made our honeymoon so special! Will definitely be coming back for an anniversary, and hope to see Alan again!
