A beautiful resort with all the perks of a Riu with multiple pool’s, hot tubs, activities and food options. The resort is kept immaculate from restaurants to rooms & common areas. We stayed at Riu Palace which provided us with the opportunity to visit the 2 adjacent Riu’s. 1 Riu boasts being an “adult only” facility, visually looking at the adults only public areas (pool & swim up bar) the adult only is actually the 20 something age group. Food was delicious, plentiful with multiple restaurants and the buffet. Bring an insulated cup the resort reuses the plastic cups served drinks at the pools. We’ve stayed at multiple Riu’s and are never disappointed.

Hotel's Favorite
We have been Riu members for awhile now and do like our Riu resorts. But I still like to do my research before we book and what resort to book. I have had friends and family stay at Riu cabo palace and they really liked it. So even after reading a lot of bad and good reviews, we decided to book. And am I ever so happy that we booked. Was an amazing time. We booked through the Riu app and our flight seperate. On arrival to the airport, we were picked up by the resort, as we booked that pick up as well. Waited for about half hour for someone else's arrival, but that was not an issue for us, we sat and had a beer. Came to the resort and check in was very quick. I had booked a partial ocean view but we got upgraded to an ocean view 😍. We got to our room and it was great. We had Rm 4086, which was right off the lobby and up a flight of stairs. And close to pretty much everything. The view was amazing. Bell boy brought our suitcases 5 min later. We changed and went to explore and get ourselves situated with the resort as it's very huge. We came back to our room a couple hours later, to find champagne and strawberries in our room as a welcome gift and as Riu members. No complaints there. We had an issue with our safe, low battery or something and my husband went down to let them know. Half hour later they called our room to let us know that someone was coming up. Maintenance came in, fixed the issue and it was working. Another half hour later they called us again to check if everything was working. We ate at all the restaurants there and we liked them all except maybe the Italian one. A bit bland. The rest were good. Nothing special but still good. The buffet was always great. There is something for everyone, you will not starve. And if someone out there says they had nothing to eat, that is really a big fat lie 🤥. Fresh fruit and veggies. And they are constantly making tortillas and buns right there. Everyone is constantly working to please everyone. The BBQ down by the pool was amazing. The ribs and chicken were so good. That was my husband's go to for lunch. The beach: Amazing views everywhere. 99% the waves are huge and rough and it's not swimable at all, but that's not the hotels fault at all people. You can go to some Cabo beaches and swim but most places you cannot. Do not complain about it. Do your research before going if you like swimming in the ocean. Day before leaving, we booked our return ride to the airport with the hotel. No hiccups there. All in all, it was an amazing 10 days. Thank you Riu for an amazing time. We will be back!! Celebrated wedding anniversary. Staff provided Champagne and strawberries waiting in our room when we returned from excursions. Room was overlooking theatre area, lots of noise so it was difficult to sleep. Buffet was very Nice, lots of variety. All staff members were very accommodating. Would like to revisit during whale watching season. Would recommend to Friends and family.

This is a wonderful Hotel for your Cabo trip. Rooms are top notch, food is good and service is good. A couple of notes...1) It is "miles from everywhere", so a cab is $15 t0 $20 per person each way to go anywhere. Uber is not allowed on any RIU properties. 2) The Hotel is "open air" so if it is "hot & humid" the only place to cool off is your room or the 24 hour lounge. The pool temp will equal the air temp. 3) Specialty rest. are first come first serve, so if they are full your wait time may be an hour or more. 4) Be sure to argue your room location as the front desk will put you in the worst location available.

First time in this Riu palace (adults only). The food,staff, service it's super perfect. Stay in room 2244 small problem with our lock door ( need replacing battery) but was fix in half hr. Another problem with ceiling fan can't adjust speed ( missing little chain) which was not fixed. Electric receptacle outlet don't hold charges. In my opinion hotel should replace the wristband for better quality one, existing it's to sharp. Another then that all was working in good condition. Lots of party I love neon party. We want to thanks bar Tropicana staff Nancy,Judith,Lupita,Livro, Arturo,Luty, Hugo, Jesus. Main buffet Judith, Reyna, Rodrigo, Yuen,Bufet,Melitou Lopez. Entertainment caffe,Ruth. Last think (somebody already mentioned that) No swimming in ocean the waves it's too big and very dangerous. We make a trip to los Cabos town, very nice Marina and eat at Wabo Cabo Cantina ( Sammy Hagar, Van Halen). Go around we find Uber is cheaper than taxi. I'll make this short. My annual Labor Day week trip to the RIU Palace and as always, it didn't disappoint. The staff and services are always great and I've said it before: I've vacationed at resorts where is you haven't declared your spot by the pool by 7am, you're out of luck. With the two large pool areas at the RIU Palace, I don't care what time you show up, you always can grab not just a spot but a great location anywhere by the pool. Plus, because you're at the Palace, you can use the pools and facilities next door at the newly renovated Santa Fe. By the way, the Jungle Party at the Santa Fe was an experience. LOL Love the Palace and will definitely be back next year. Hopefully, Fourth of July week so I can see what that's like.

This was our third trip to Cabo San Lucas and our second to The Palace. All the staff were exceptionally good. They made us feel welcome from the first minute. The food for us was above average, we didn't starve. The drinks were good. The room was clean and sufficient. We spent most of our time in the pool or at the pool. We are planning to return next year and are looking forward to it. Shout out to Nata at Laventana, Dulce and Raul and Celia at the buffet. Esmerelda at the pool bar. A big shout out to Antonio at the front desk. Thank you for all your help. You are awesome.
