My recent stay at RIU resorts was amazing! I found my place to stay for every Cabo trip. Great service, view, food, and great guests. I’ve already recommended RIU to my family and friends. Thank you again for an amazing time.

We have been Riu members for awhile now and do like our Riu resorts. But I still like to do my research before we book and what resort to book. I have had friends and family stay at Riu cabo palace and they really liked it. So even after reading a lot of bad and good reviews, we decided to book. And am I ever so happy that we booked. Was an amazing time. We booked through the Riu app and our flight seperate. On arrival to the airport, we were picked up by the resort, as we booked that pick up as well. Waited for about half hour for someone else's arrival, but that was not an issue for us, we sat and had a beer. Came to the resort and check in was very quick. I had booked a partial ocean view but we got upgraded to an ocean view 😍. We got to our room and it was great. We had Rm 4086, which was right off the lobby and up a flight of stairs. And close to pretty much everything. The view was amazing. Bell boy brought our suitcases 5 min later. We changed and went to explore and get ourselves situated with the resort as it's very huge. We came back to our room a couple hours later, to find champagne and strawberries in our room as a welcome gift and as Riu members. No complaints there. We had an issue with our safe, low battery or something and my husband went down to let them know. Half hour later they called our room to let us know that someone was coming up. Maintenance came in, fixed the issue and it was working. Another half hour later they called us again to check if everything was working. We ate at all the restaurants there and we liked them all except maybe the Italian one. A bit bland. The rest were good. Nothing special but still good. The buffet was always great. There is something for everyone, you will not starve. And if someone out there says they had nothing to eat, that is really a big fat lie 🤥. Fresh fruit and veggies. And they are constantly making tortillas and buns right there. Everyone is constantly working to please everyone. The BBQ down by the pool was amazing. The ribs and chicken were so good. That was my husband's go to for lunch. The beach: Amazing views everywhere. 99% the waves are huge and rough and it's not swimable at all, but that's not the hotels fault at all people. You can go to some Cabo beaches and swim but most places you cannot. Do not complain about it. Do your research before going if you like swimming in the ocean. Day before leaving, we booked our return ride to the airport with the hotel. No hiccups there. All in all, it was an amazing 10 days. Thank you Riu for an amazing time. We will be back!! My husband and I spent 6 nights here the end of July. We have been staying at Riu Palaces for over 20 years. The food, suites, service and employees were all excellent. The pools were a bit warm for us but we still enjoyed them. I have to say, I missed having a Captain meeting us at the front door with a “Welcome Home” greeting. I was also surprised that our Riu Club membership was never acknowledged. All in all, it was a wonderful trip and I’m sure we will return.

Family of 8 traveled to Cabo- ages ranging from 10 months to 84 years. After reading several reviews, we wondered if we had made a mistake with our choice of hotels, but so glad we didn't listen to what others said! Upon arrival, 2 of the 4 rooms were ready, check-in was easy. We were greeted with welcome drinks in the lobby, which was a nice touch after a long day of travel. The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Our rooms were comfortable, especially after figuring out how to run the air conditioner! People that complained about food obviously are extremely picky eaters. The buffets were amazing- fantastic assortment and foods were rotated daily. The sit down restaurants weren't as good- we tried the steak house, Italian and Japanese. Most were mediocre. We chose to hang out at the quiet pool, which was great- always being cleaned, plenty of chairs, waiters serving drinks all day long, they even had someone walking around changing out wet towels for dry ones and giving out books if you wanted to read by the pool. The resort is huge, so if you have difficulty walking, this may not be the place for you. Although pricey, we purchased pictures from the professional photographer because they were too beautiful to pass up! This is the first time staying at an all inclusive that we didn't leave the property, due to the violence in Mexico, so can't talk about the city. We went to the evening shows and several of them were very good, compared to other all inclusives we've been to. Be sure to know ahead of time that the beach isn't swimmable. Apparently several guests didn't know this ahead of time. All in all, it was a wonderful, relaxing vacation. If we go back to Cabo, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Everything you want in an all inclusive. The food was good, service great, drinks always on point! We truly had a good time! The things that stuck out for me was the front desk help went above and beyond and bartenders even with everyone demanding they were awesome! The not so good things would be the following. The pool stayed warm to at times hot. It was manageable but I prefer cooler water with the heat we had. The need to walk from one side of the resort to the other was trying due to stairs everywhere. They did have elevators in certain areas but you sometimes still had to walk through the maze of rooms to get to yours. The RIU Palace worked very hard to keep us happy! I truly appreciated that ethic of work! One more thing believe me when they say stay out of the ocean listen. It can be dangerous if not a strong swimmer! Plenty of pools!

We have stayed at many resorts all over MX including several in this area. The staff was constantly cleaning somewhere. Bar and waiter staff very attentive. Great adult only infinity pool. We had a room with 1 king bed, everything worked and was cleaned. Food was good, some restaurants better than others. It is a big place and a lot of stairs, but there are elevators that take a while to figure out where they are and what floor stuff is on. Restrooms constantly being cleaned. Daughters walked about 20 min to RIU Santa fe for water park and they as well as other people found staff rude. We rode the shared shuttle, I would just do Victor's cab next time. You could get in water, at slack tide it isn't bad.
