Stayed at the Sante Fe last year, overall the Palace is much quieter and enjoyed. Check in was very fast and efficient, had a great view of the ocean and pool area, quieter for sure. Krystal Restaurant was overall best over from what we did = Japanese, Steakhouse and

We were in This hotel from Nov 24 to Dec 8. What a wonderful stay. Our room was great with an ocean view. What a beautiful way to wake up. Our maids kept our room so clean. We only used the Buffets and loved the food. We had lobster three times and I love the Mexican food.

I had a subtle whining noise constantly in my room some hotel staff heard it but did nothing to help me. The maintenance people passed it off as nothing and left me. I actually waited twice over an hour for them. Therefore I did not sleep very well. The steak house lobster was

We were there in November and guests were placing towels on poolside shaded spots first thing in the morning before breakfast. This is against the resort policy but it still goes on. I imagine during prime season it gets worse. There is a Costco and Walmart a short ride away and you should be able to get all your baby supplies there.

Is there airport to hotel shuttle provided by the hotel ?
No. It is easiest to secure transportation to an from the airport/hotel in advance. You can arrange transportation to the hotel once you land at the airport - just be aware they will try to sell you a bunch of excursions in the process.

For snorkeling, i would recommend the Sea of Cortez swim with Sea Lions tour by Cabo Adventures. We booked it from the Sunwing guys in the stage area of the hotel (they are there every day). It was a 12 hour day (2.5 hours La Paz to the boat launch and 5 hours or so on the boats, then 2.5 hours back, staging time to hotel etc.), but hands down the most spectacular, sea life (fish, birds and sea lions) rich snorkel trip i've ever done. Also, there are only 15 to 20 people on your very large catamaran. It feels almost like a private excursion.
