All that will be forgotten once the ambiance of this beautiful, peaceful (mostly) resort and its magic transport you...

...Pedro Damian Roche went above and beyond finding us chairs, umbrellas and towels... This makes a great ambience and you can have one pool without music for those who wish not to have music...

...He worked tirelessly all day long to make people happy: pulling heavy lounge chairs around, making towel pillows, moving tables, ensuring your view and needs were met to the highest possible standard and kept up with everyone always saying ‘If you need anything at all just let me know.’...

...The views are stunning, a few whales showed up to pass along their christmas greetings and to remind us to ptotect their home, the ocean, the live music was just beautiful, spiritually enhancing and the food was scrumptious...

...We opted for the all inclusive option through the (Travelzoo deal) and enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance...

...One young man, Guillermo Pireda was a rock star...eagerly offering us assistance with bags and transport around the resort...

...After he got us all set-up with comfortable chairs, fresh towels, an umbrella for shade, and a table to put our stuff on, he asked if he could bring us anything to drink!...

...During the sales presentation I was told " because I wasn't a member I received a "lesser room" I have ownerships with other vacation clubs...

...Cost has increased since last visit but this was also reflected in rising cost of everything we encountered during our entire trip...

...Our room is in good repair, but we miss the colorful artwork that once adorned the walls... Bring earplugs and/or a white noise machine, as you will hear every footstep, toilet flushing, drawer closing and chair scraping in the room above...

...The room did have a bit of a funky odor when we arrived so we would just keep the doors open for a little extra ventilation and then would cover the shower drains and close the sinks at night which seemed to help quite a bit... The king bed in the main bedroom was really comfortable and the linens were nice...

...Our room was above the courtyard where each night they had a buffet which included a roasted pig over a fire pit. We got smoke smell in our room with everything closed up... Did move to another room away from the smoke and sound...

...Our room was satisfactory, good for the price but would like to see them do a total overhaul of the property, just starting to really show its age... Joel goes beyond to ensure you have a great stay and that if there is anything you need he is always happy to assist!... Alejandro in management was extremely accommodating in his pursuit for a room that would give us the best view and meet our needs...

...Beautiful grounds and pools, construction on two sides, very noisy all day, and rooms quite outdated. Four adults travelled and room had two beds in one room, which seemed to be the norm...

...They have to bring it to your room and that means another tip... We have money and are used to spending $300 a night for rooms so for this place, that wasn't bad... If you stay one one of the rooms with a kitchen, it's worth the trip to Walmart to get groceries to keep your costs down...

...Go to the Thur night art walk there and Flora Farms for lunch or cooking class Rooms could use a little updating and adding a more medium level restaurant back would be nice Girasoles closed for two years or more...

...We got an oceanfront room which was a great surprise but there was a large compressing a nearby out building that was quite loud and ruined the vibe... I stayed one night in transit to another Baja location...

...My room, the second one, was comfortable and clean... I booked an ocean view room... The room I was assigned first I guess "technically" had a view of the ocean, but it was far away and through palm trees and rooftops... I went down and spoke to the manager and he assured me they would be done in two hours and also explained that's how they market the "ocean view" rooms... After a while had passed he called and said he was moving me to another room... This room had a much better view, one I would classify as ocean view... When I was waiting hours to get to a room the manager offered me a margarita for my troubles...

...Even though the resort and beach itself is beautiful, the rooms are in need of an upgrade… we have been told that they are doing a big remodel that should be complete in 18-24 mos — much needed...

...Unfortunately our room was very noisy, unable to use patio and even leave patio door open to enjoy the weather. Been timeshare member for 15+ years and have difficulty ever getting a reservation...

...We stayed ocean front ground floor in a vary spacious room with unobstructed views and a nice little patio deck to relax on. The service was generally very good with maid service everyday to swap out towels and make up the bed.....

...We were given a room number (a nice room) and told to wait while they got it ready. When we went to check in they had changed our room to the absolute worst room in the entire property with a ground level view of the construction 50 feet away... After talking to the check in people they said the previous occupant of our room decided to stay longer and that's why they took it back... Then we spent six or more hours talking to different people like Manuel and Ricardo who simply told us we still got a nice room... They refused to do anything to make it right and said they will not do anything since we got the room eventually the next day and only spent 2 hours having to repack our bags and groceries for our family of six...

...The suites that are used for RCI exchanges are of very poor quality!...

As owners for almost ten years we were again extremely disappointed with the room selection assigned to us... However for the 3rd year in a row we were given a room on the south side where the new Four Seasons construction has been taking place, there was NO ocean view, the room was old, the furniture is not comfortable, there were mosquitos in our room plus the costs for food and drink are outrageously high...

...Had to spend two days trying to get the room as promised. First room-air conditioning was broke... The second room was better until the last 2 days they were doing construction on the roof and from 9am on there was jack hammering and pounding we had to listen to all DAY LONG...

...Osama at the front desk was so patient with my rather “particular” wife and made sure our accommodations were perfect... There are no directories in the rooms with the standard hotel history, local maps, local eateries, available facilities & hours or available services...

...The room was stunning, well maintained, and had a beautiful view... Appreciated the staff offering to drive us and our luggage to and from our rooms... The staff really go above and beyond there to ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable...

...4 tacos, 2 non alcoholic drinks, and nachos were $50.00 plus tip. Breakfast buffet was $35.00 per person...

...If you’re not on the all inclusive plan, it can be very expensive eating at any of the restaurants, especially the finer ones... You can’t even go take a aerobics class or get lunch in that short period of time... It’s bad enough that you have to get up early and go down there and put a towel on the chair to assure yourself of getting one... The shuttle into town is a little expensive, especially if you’re traveling as a couple...

...We had lunch at Sienas ( Pricey) but good. Dinner at DeCortez expensive but delicious and worth the $$ The staff will bring you around the resort by golf cart, just dial 0 and ask...

...Restaurants: there is a good selection but service can be slow and prices are a little high. We prefer to travel into San Jose del Cabo to eat at there many restaurants which have better food quality and lower prices... We have stayed at other resorts in the area which offer better food, service and nicer rooms...

...Fantastic premium food selection (make reservations for the a la carte restaurants) Breakfast service by Rocio &Nayeli remembering our cappuccinos was the perfect start to the day and Custom omelettes always perfect!... While Ricardo at the dolphins bar and Benjamin at Tortugas on the beach are the refreshment specialists ;-) Caution-be sure to buy the all inclusive meal package and also bring your own cash ahead of time as while the resort offers 2 private bank machines (Pesos & USD) they have huge service fees (on top of your own bank fees) ...

...You should book all inclusive because everything is super expensive otherwise. We got up bright and early daily to snag premium spots near the pool and facing the sea, and to watch the beautiful sunrise... Don’t book tours from the airport or hotel... In Los Cabos you can get dropped off at the marina and for $50 per couple jump on a 40 minute tour of the Arch of Los Cabos...

We were so disappointed with HDM and the All-Inclusive meal plans. The Plan was almost $4000 for two weeks for two people which is totally outrageous given the very limited choices of the food & beverage locations within the resort...

...But go with lots of money in your pocket because this is a very expensive place to be... We have money and are used to spending $300 a night for rooms so for this place, that wasn't bad... But another $300 a day in food for the two of us seemed really high... We did not know about the all-inclusive option for $150 a day more for two people but we should have gone that route because we spent way more than the $150 a day for food and didn't eat as much as we would have had we purchased the all-inclusive option... If you stay one one of the rooms with a kitchen, it's worth the trip to Walmart to get groceries to keep your costs down...

...The food is always full of local, fresh flavor and great value...

...We splurged on day and stayed on the private beach bed and seating area to celebrate my sister’s birthday and from the moment on site his friendly service and helpfulness was so appreciated...

...$12 drink (and they were watered down) lunch was $65 for two... If you go do their “inclusive package” for the meals and drinks... Overall we were disappointed with the property and our experience and would not return...

Stayed here for the first time in January 2023... I had paid for the all inclusive plan and part of that was a stocked mini bar each day... I figured since I did arrive the next day I wouldn't be charged for the first day I missed... Not only did they charge me, they also had different taxes charged to my bill on checkout that was supposed to be covered in the all inclusive... I guess it was a nice gesture, but I had paid for the all inclusive so not really...

...Overall, food is pricey and bland, the good pool chairs fill by 6am (no sleeping in here!)...

...Don't advertise or tell guests that you heat some pool or pools and you don't... That said, if I was paying the prices they were charging guests, I would be pretty disappointed... All our dinners we had would have cost us from $414.00 to $480.00 (2 guests)... The food was good but not worth the price of the meal...

The resort was beautiful, food was good and service was great (except the morning buffet)... Our only restaurant complaint was the morning buffet where no matter how many tables were open outside they always told us we’d have to sit inside... It seemed once they saw we had in an all inclusive wrist band they gave us a crappy table... Otherwise service was great by the pool and in all the restaurants...

...I enjoyed a 80 minutes massage with Irma & she was wonderful. The pressure was perfect & she made me feel extra special, offering me hot tea & a warm neck wrap after my treatment...

Received a gift massage certificate for Cactus Spa from a sweet friend... I loved my service, he was kind and very knowledgeable... I have had many massages while traveling abroad and while at home, I think he could have given the best massage ever... The other service were nice as well and they offered us fruit and refreshing flavored waters as well...

Not sure how Hacienda Del Mar staff and service managed to provide such delicious meals, in a pristine and colloquially charming environment! Their obvious care and concern for our safety and well being in our experiences during our conference was outstanding... The staff brought some of their families, painted their faces and wore costumes and laughed and celebrated with us... And… a special shout-out to Killian Adrianne for their excellent service...

...But perhaps what made the visit so special was the staff. The personnel were polite, friendly, and eager to assist... We ate breakfast daily at the resort’s Tomates restaurant, which was one of the best breakfast buffets we have ever experienced... Our servers, Adelina and Sahet, were so accommodating, that we requested a table in their section every morning, even if it meant we had to wait a bit to be seated...

...My massage was pure bliss thanks to Maricela whom the Lord has blessed with powerful and magical hands to treat those sore and tight knots in my shoulders, neck, back, legs and basically full body. The aromas and special lotion she recommended were so relaxing and really elevated my experience... Great spa, very beautiful and clean... Cactus Spa is highly recommended...

When making our 2023 reservation, my wife and I were very impressed with the quality of service we received from the Customer Care Department, we were assisted by Yunuen Ajuech ( a.k.a... June not only helped us make the perfect reservation, but helped us understand all our options and contract with grace, professionalism, and patience... The HDM is obviously a great facility but it’s the staff members like June that make it world class...

Fantastic service in the several restaurants and bars at this unique resorts coming here for over 8 years the staff make this resort the best you can find in Cabo . Tomatoes restaurant had the most accommodating staff for breakfast anywhere and a gray thank you to Adelina our server for 14 days , going beyond our expectations with top class service every day...

...The resort grounds are immaculate and well kept and the service AMAZING!! Victor, in concierge, always went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and like family... I looked forward to seeing him when we needed transportation to the gate... The Victor who managed Tomates was very friendly and accommodating... Market night buffet was very lackluster...

The beds in the rooms are some of the softest I’ve slept on in my life... Several AC zones in our villa made it so everyone was comfortable in their rooms... Stunning property with comfy rooms and a fabulous staff. We had outstanding service at the Delfines Swim-Up Bar and Pool and at Las Sirenas... The groundskeepers and maids all do a wonderful job... ...Our bar tender at the swim up bar Alberto was attentive, learned our preferred beverages the first day and always greeted us when we arrived. Rodrigo our pool attendant made every visit to the pool a pleasure... These two employees made our stay very special but I would also like to recognize the house keeping an Bell man staff at the hotel... The concierge, I believe his name was Fredrico, was amazing... Not many would take the time or make the effort to assist in this manner... Even faced with tropical storms and a black out of all of the lower Baja during our visit, the staff made sure the guest were alwasy safe and their needs met...

He should be one of the waiters in the pools if that is a step above... He made great recommendations on where to swim on the beach as well... The only minor complaints I have with my stay is that there is no music playing by the pools and there is not an adults only pool... The tortuga area is such a hidden gem that could be turn into a nighttime lounge with music and cocktails for the younger crowd...

We just had Christmas Brunch at de Cortez... The staff was brilliant and made every effort to create a home away from home Christmas celebration... This was a beautiful resort in its day (20 years ago). We stay here when all the buildings were new and it was very nice... One item they can change is how cold all the pools and the hot tubs are (except 1 tub)... The staff is great and friendly which is a plus...

As always, I had a lovely visit to the Cactus Spa... The pressure was perfect & she made me feel extra special, offering me hot tea & a warm neck wrap after my treatment... The outdoor area is so tranquil, I love spending time out there enjoying the hot & cool tubs & the sound of the waterfall...

The classic or traditional style and architecture of this resort is so beautiful and inviting to just rest and relax around the pools and grounds. The views were amazing, especially from the patios of the two main restaurants... The infinity pool is spectacular overlooking the ocean... We ate several times at both Pitahayas and De Cortez... The views from the outdoor patios are astounding, literally steps away from the beach and ocean... We also tried Tortugas right on the beach... Grilled seafood and sushi right on the beach... We would highly recommend letting the concierge know you are interested and they will give you a call when it's happening...

Be prepared to pay for filtered water... I always carry a reusable water bottle and wanted to just fill the bottle instead of plastic bottles... The resort was fairly clean and seemed to be maintained well... It's about 40min from the airport and 20 min from downtown without traffic...

Attending breakfast at Tomato’s Restaurant every morning was not only delicious but there always was a wide array of food choices that satisfied my entire family - especially my 2 young children... Adelina not only provided expedient service - ensuring our coffee was always full and clearing dishes - but she greeted us with a warm smile and engaged in friendly conversation...

...You should participate in the all-inclusive as prices were high for food and beverages. Only wish they could solve the chair problem for the beachside chairs at the pool... Most chairs were reserved by 7 am and people would not show up until 10 am sometimes... The grounds of the resort are beautiful and one can tell that the employees here love their jobs... They made the whole experience 200% better...

...Every morning we came to tomotes and she made sure that we had a lovely experience with food and drinks everyday...

This resort is average because of the following: expensive food that isn’t very good, limited food options, only breakfast was a buffet for $30 a person, activities provided are boring, limited umbrellas and chairs, unswimmable beaches, dated rooms and steep terrain... If you like to lay at a crowded pool all day with tons of other people-this resort is for you...

Our pool experience was made spectacular by the Pool Concierge, Mr Rodrigo, who tirelessly moved in every direction, meeting guests needs with smiles and good cheer. We never lacked for a cozy spot, as he scurried to procure towels and umbrellas, mini tables and waiters, ever ready to satisfy our spoiled American needs...

Fantastic service in the several restaurants and bars at this unique resorts coming here for over 8 years the staff make this resort the best you can find in Cabo . Tomatoes restaurant had the most accommodating staff for breakfast anywhere and a gray thank you to Adelina our server for 14 days , going beyond our expectations with top class service every day...

...The care that is given to the grounds and landscaping is almost unprecedented compared to other places I’ve been. Sweeping the brick and rock paths, cleaning of the pool chairs (at 10pm to not disturb vacationers), garden care to the smallest points making the biggest difference... Restaurants, common areas and rooms are beautifully kept... Property is large but walkable to every corner and the walk is always scenic with the high quality of care given... One pool has a infinity wall to overlook the sea of Cortez... One pool has a swim up bar and overlooks a golf fairway... Several hot tubs are located by or in the pools... The pool lounge chairs are thick cushions and extremely comfortable... The beds in the rooms are some of the softest I’ve slept on in my life... Several AC zones in our villa made it so everyone was comfortable in their rooms... Overall I’d love to visit this resort again...
