Went with my cousin for a get away and had an absolute blast!! Whale watched at Whale watchers, lots of fun at the pool bar, aqua aerobics with a beverage, and so much food! Food We had Sushi every day we could for lunch - loved it! Wish it were open every day! Shrimp tacos at the pool were awesome Tuna Steak and Pad Thai at Tortuga Beach were VERY good! Chicken Parm at Emilianos was delicious! Arturo was the man for breakfast - at the buffet! Food overall was ok/good -- some was great. Overall, we were pretty happy with the qualify for what we paid! Grounds/Location Resort is incredibly well maintained, so shout out to the landscaping team! Marina rooms are the lower cost, but it's beautiful! Right across the street from the marina -- short walk down the hill! Restaurants/Coffee shop are mainly on the top side (floor 7 - walk across the bridge) Pools - middle pool is the adults pool, where we spent our time Chris and Wendy were a blast for pool entertainment! Bars Whale Watchers was our favorite - bring binoculars (Nov-March for Whales) Ismael was our favorite bartender at the bar by the Marina Pool Rooms A bit dated, but who cares. lol Soap/Shampoo was pretty low quality and I am not hard to please -- I'd recommend bringing your own Views were amazing Beds/pillows were better than I expected - slept like a baby Tips -- always remember to bring small bills and tip often! These people work SO HARD and deserve it!! Masks only seemed to be enforced at the buffet in the morning, so that was nice. Didn't even have to think about it the vast majority of the time, which was nice!

I had no expectations for dinner and was delightfully surprised that there were imaginative variations on typical Italian fare. The Bruschetta had sweet figs and a light creamy cheese. The shrimp scampi entree gave a generous portion of fresh shrimp. The Lasagna was a delicious meat forward dish with a creamy mozzarella. Our server Daniel made excellent recommendations and didn’t miss a beat. Definitely would recommend.

We attended the wedding of our son at this resort. The resort itself was beautiful and the staff could not have been better. We had never been to Cabo and were extremely surprised how nice (and safe) the area was. We walked downtown a number of times and could not have felt more at ease. The main issue we had were the dinners at ALL the restaurants at the resort. The food was mediocre at best and some of it like the steaks and some seafood were not edible. We tried various dishes and found none worth ever eating twice. By far the best meal we had was downtown, which is ridiculous based on the amount of money we spent at the resort. The breakfast and lunches were very good. And forget it if you wanted any type of evening snack. After 9pm or so there was no where to get anything to eat (not even a snack). It was hard writing a negative review based on how great all the workers were here, and the overall beauty of Cabo. Unfortunately based on the terrible food choices and quality, we would never stay here again.

Hi Steve, Thank you so much for choosing us for such a special occasion as your sons wedding. We are so happy to read that you have enjoyed our beautiful resort and our excellent service as well as the security we enjoy in Cabo. Regarding the food, we always invite our guests to let us know what their needs and wishes are regarding the food selection we offer, as we understand we serve a lot of different nationalities, cultures and expectations and our goal is to please them all. The evening snack is available until 10pm in the cupcake café where we offer sandwich, cookies, desserts such as cheesecake, brownies, lemon or apple pie and much more. Also do we have 24hours roomservice with snacks. In the hope we get a second chance to serve you we invite you to let us know about your food preferences and we will surely do out utmost to make you have a special stay as most of the guests who visit us. Best regards, Nicki Van den Auwelant GM Sandos Finisterra

The property is clean and well maintained. The rooms are huge and comfortable. The staff are friendly and professional, eager to help you. The excursions desk went out of their way for us. We ended up testing positive for Covid and had to stay 4 extra nights. We were carefully relocated to another room - still clean spacious and comfortable with an ocean view. The hotel DID NOT charge us for these extra days. It was generous and kind and one of the best things I have seen in all of Covid insanity. This is an excellent resort.
