We stayed here for a wedding. Everything was great from the rooms to the food. Food is a tad pricey and will say that the evening dinner staff was a tad slow. The breakfast buffet is incredible! Rooms are also very nice!
We just spent a phenomenal week with the Esperanza in Cabo. I can’t say enough great things about the team there, the facilities and the overall experience they create. The rooms are beautiful, the restaurants are outstanding and the scenery can’t be beat. But what makes this place so special is the staff. This team is really well led, and the service is personalized, anticipatory and very caring. Special thank you to Mario, our personal concierge and Sergio, who took care of us poolside. They went out of their way to ensure we were well taken care of. Top notch professionals. Highly recommend Esperanza and can’t wait to come back. Thank you!
As frequent guests at another 5 star resort in Cabo, we decided to try Esperanza after having dinner there on one of our recent visits. After the first day we were slightly disappointed. There was a loud group of people at the adult pool, and our room was a bit offset from the ocean, so not as great views as we've had at the other resort. The once in a blue moon rain and clouds in Cabo on our first 2 days did not help. By the middle of rainy Day 2 we opted for the ceviche and guacamole cooking class, and everything went uphill from there. We had an absolute blast with Chef Jaime, and his assistants Freddy and the other gentleman whose name escapes me. So interesting to learn about Mexican food and culture, and just truly enjoyable company for a couple of hours. After that, we did a few classes at the gym, including the beautiful morning hike, and tried out all the pools. The restaurants are absolutely stunning. We realized half way through the trip that it's the experiences and friendly staff that give Esperanza its own unique feel. Alfredo, Jesus and Otoneil at retaurant La Palapa were fantastic, as was Luis, the bartender / artisan extraodinarie at Cocina del Mar. Freddy gave us a personal lesson in Mezcal that we thoroughly enjoyed. We can't say enough about Karim, our personal concierge who organized our trip to perfection before we arrived and during our stay. A beautiful resort, combined with wonderful people, makes this a perfect setting for a relaxing yet fun trip. If I could give the staff 6 stars I would. On our last night, we enjoyed the Mexican buffet at La Palapa. The staff worked hard all afternoon to transform the pool and restaurant area into a Mexican village. The ambiance was just wonderful. There were so many other special dinners and activities if we had had more time. The shuttle bus that takes you to the sister Auberge Resort, Chileno Bay, offers you even more dinner options. It was so sad to leave, but we were already talking about coming back next year in the car ride to the airport. I have to compliment management on having an extremely professional and competent staff, but letting them be themselves and friendly with the guests so you don't feel an overly formal atmosphere that you sometimes experience at other hotels of this caliber.…
This is one of the nicest resorts I have ever visited. The location is seriously beautiful. The service is impeccable. The food is delicious. All in all this is a fantastic resort. I highly recommend Esperanza.
The Esperanza Resort was Beyond the stars in ranking property, amenities and service. We stayed in a 4 bedroom Villa which exceeded our expectations. Jorge our concierge/ butler/ new friend provided impeccable service around the clock. He anticipated our needs and responded to all of our request. The chef prepared breakfast was just one of the many highlights. Raphael and Gorge made it a morning to remember. Daniel by the pool always had a towel and a smile. Truly our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. Yet we are always discussing plans to return. Thanks Esperanza for making our birthday magical!!
