2022 was a wonderful vacation at Grand Solmar! We return each year for a relaxed and fun time knowing the staff and quality of the resort is fantastic. Extended family joined the trip from California and they loved it! Kids played at the pools and staff was super attentive. It always feels like we’re arriving home with Manny, Roberto and the crew greeting us. Juan Carlos is back and makes sure all is running smoothly. Francisco greeted us at the pool and was attentive to all our family members making sure drinks and food were served. Our last night was the surf & turf at Don Luis and what a beautiful sunset setting. Karla and Irineo - thank you for the birthday celebrations! We returned with a large party (multiple rooms) for spring break at Grand Solmar, and as always everything was wonderful. Juan Carlos and his entire front desk staff did a wonderful job, both at check-in and during the week - including helping make it a magical birthday experience for our (adult) daughters. David spent a long time with us at check-in, working to arrange our rooms so that we were all close together - and then handle all the details of check-in, meal plans, etc. We had a great poolside experience. Juan is an exceptional pool butler, and we met and were favorably impressed by Domingo, who has just joined Juan. Together they will make a terrific team. We also can't say enough about the excellent pool service from Adan. La Roca is one of our favorite places to eat, and we tip our hats to both Dani and Manny for consistently great experiences there. We also enjoyed eating at Brisas, where Jonathan went above and beyond (staying past the end of his shift to serve our party, even when several family members had to reschedule). Miguel always goes above and beyond to get the special foods that some in our party prefer - and to help us arrange for a magical birthday experience for our daughters. We look forward to every return visit. The entire staff is consistently top-notch, and we appreciate being able to chat with them and get to know them as people. There is a personal connection that makes us feel valued - and on each visit we look forward to seeing our friends again and learning what is new in their lives. What a beautiful place. Great stay. Beautiful views. Food was very good. Restaurant service was slow but the quality was fantastic. We did the meal plan which is the way to go. We ate out a few times but we’re still ahead on cost. Service was great. Manny and Roberto were standouts. Really took care of us. Maid service was also top notch.
My family of four stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. Set into the rocky sandstone right next to the ocean, it's a beautiful setting and well-maintained property. We enjoyed the multiple pools, kept at a perfect temperature, and poolside food & drinks service. The customer service was terrific throughout, especially the Concierge team. We weren't interested in a time share, and it was easy enough to decline that invitation when we checked in. (But if you don't want that pitch at all, avoid the desks to the left of the registration desk.) The little store on-site has long hours - good for basic snacks & bottled water. The only reason we're not giving 5 stars is because the food and drinks were only okay. There's tasty pub-like fare at the pools, but the restaurants weren't our favorite and the waits for food were long. It's within easy walking distance of downtown Cabo, so we tried a couple of local restaurants - no car needed. Overall, we'd happily go back to this resort!…
Had a week in a 1 BR master suite on the 6th floor of Bldg 4. As usual, room (and view) were amazing. Purchased 3 days of meal plan and had some delicious sea base and steak at Don Louise and La Rocca restaurants. A special shout out to Manny, Roberto and all the guys at the front entrance. Super helpful and efficient. Great first (and last) impression of the resort. Have been there a lot, and they have become like extended family members. Will be back.
We are owners of 2 fixed and 1 floating penthouse weeks. We are visiting for the first time in 3 years since covid. The pools are in need of deep cleaning. They are filled with food particles, straws, and floating unidentified objects. Garbage needs to be removed from the grates in front. Reservations are absolutely impossible to make without some level of anxiety. The new process is to call a local call center which is offsite to try to book. They disconnect the phones on the weekends. For our unit size there are no reservations available through July of 2023. We have 5 weeks that we paid maintenance fees that we have been unable to book. The situation is so bad that most owners have given up and try to sell their weeks privately on redweek or Facebook. Our reservation was booked incorrectly and we are still waiting for a supervisor to credit us back our week. No one seems to have any authority to actually fix the problem or admit there was a mistake. And if you are a prestigious member, that does not seem to matter any more. Your perk is a cabana for 1 day for each week you stay at the dirtiest of all the pools. While we understand this resort has undergone recent leadership changes, the current team has distanced themselves from their customers. It is time to walk the property, empower your employees to be able to service their guests, move to an online reservation system for owners and remove fees for banking weeks to encourage internal banking.…
We love Grand Solmar Land's End! The staff are friendly and helpful from the front house staff to transportation - every need taken care of. The resort is beautiful, clean, and so relaxing. We've been three times, both as a couple and as a family. We love it and plan to return next year!
Such a wonderful experience at grand solmar Lands end. We bought last year and we cannot wait to go back we had the best time with her daughter and her friends! Gerardo at the Brisas pool bar went above and beyond daily! Best staff ever!
This was my husband and I first visit to Cabo and I am glad I chose the Grand Solmar Lands End for our vacation. By far the best all inclusive resort we have stayed at. Absolutely beautiful resort and perfect location on the beach. The entire staff were very friendly and made you feel welcomed. But I would like to recognize two of your best staff employees Juan and Domingo our pool butlers. Words cannot express how we appreciate how they made out vacation more enjoyable and relaxing.Definitely top notch service from Juan and Domingo!!!! The food was excellent as well as the cleanliness of the resort. Will most definitely be repeat guests!!!
Another vacation at GLSE in the books. We visit this resort 3-4 times a year and they never disappoint. From the bellman out front- Manny, Saul, Rene, Roberto and the entire staff, they always make you feel that you've truly come "home". From the "Welcome Home" to the hugs, these guys go above and beyond for you. Their front desk staff is some of the best in the world. Marisol & David are AMAZING!! They're efficient, friendly and so accommodating. Anything we need, they are always here to help. We can never forgot to rave about Victor (Working near the kids pool 7/16), we always search him out to let him know we're back. This guy HUSSLES! Anything you need, he's on it. He introduced us to Domingo who hooked us up with the best Cabanas on property. Highly recommend getting the cabanas, they're reasonable and you can guarantee a great spot with amazing views. You always get an amazing meal at any of the restaurants, Sports Bar where Brian was our great server and Ranolfo who always recognizes us, La Roca-Cristal always did an amazing job and the Asian restaurants all serve amazing food. We've never had anything that wasn't delicious. They serve multiple options for any dietary restrictions, and the food is always fresh & delicious. We also recommend taking advantage of their amazing Spa. Never crowed, very reasonable and what's better than an amazing couples massage or non-couples/facial with the sea breeze and listening to the waves. Any stress you had before reaching the resort melts away. All of the massage therapists and estheticians are top notch! Daniel always greets us with a smile and recommends the most amazing experiences. A lite lunch on the terrace after our massages/facials truly made us feel special. Food was amazing- Don't forget to get the coffee brownie- to die for. I wish I could name the therapists we had but I lost the card with their names. If you've read all the way to to the bottom- You can clearly see we LOVE this resort. So many options in Cabo and this is the ONLY place we will stay.
