We have been to Cabo many times and enjoy staying in the marina area but this was the first time staying in a condo. Let me just say unit #117 is AMAZING!!!!! Perfect location within resort - the pool with the swim up bar and palapa restaurant is right off the patio. Great linens, plush towels (plenty of them as well), and plenty of beach towels. The kitchen is VERY well equipped, we cooked several times and I never needed anything that was not there. There was even some left over coffee from a previous occupant so I was able to enjoy coffee our first morning before getting to the grocery store...do not worry, I replaced what I had used and left extra for the next occupant! The owner was very responsive and answered emails promptly. Now for the resort itself - great location if you like staying in the marina area. Grounds are well kept, the pool with the swim up bar was never crowded during our visit. We did not visit the other one so I can't speak to it. The palapa restaurant serves breakfast and lunch and has very reasonable prices. If you want a party place this is not for you but if you want to be super close to the party but then get away from it and relax then do not hesitate to book unit #117!

Grounds well kept. Condos privately owned but managed by property. Pool very warm. Food at palapa reasonably priced but preparation not very sanitary. No beach swimming due to unsafe currents. Whales visible offshore. Close to marina but hard walk if you have any mobility issues but taxis are readily available.

Terrasol is a fantastic location if you are looking for a quiet getaway that is walking distance to the marina and downtown Cabo, but far enough away for a relaxing time. DO NOT STAY IN UNIT 137. It is unclean, dated, linens are thread bare and dingy, the bed is very uncomfortable and the owner was unresponsive (and Booking.com). The staff at Terrasol are friendly and the restaurant and bar were nice. It’s practically on the beach (non swimming beach) facing the Pacific Ocean. AGAIN, I ADVISE NOT TO RENT UNIT 137. I’m really not sure how anyone who gave it a good review could overlook some major issues with the unit. My final comment on unit 137 - It is a SH#THOLE.

It is only open for lunch and breakfast. Very fresh and the prices are super reasonable. The club sandwich is a favorite and one of the very few anywhere that use real chicken breast not prodded “ lunch meat “. Five star sandwich. It primarily serves guest at Terrasol but will serve those walk in from the beach.

The condos facing the harbor are subjected to a constant 24-7 very loud machine noise coming from the building across the street, as well as the party noise from the harbor area. Unit 141, the Barefoot Condo, was the worst in that it was directly across from this. I reported this problem as well as the broken screen door and never received a response from the management or the condo agent. I was unable to change units because this was the only one the owner had. The patio furniture were cheap plastic chairs, no table for outside dining, no cushions. I still have not received any response from the booking agent, even after submitting my complaints to their website. As for the location- the guests are unable to swim in the ocean. The management deems it dangerous and will not allow anyone to enter the water. The pools are nice but if I want to spend time in a swimming pool I don't need to go to Baja.

Second time staying at Terrasol & we will be back! Our unit was very clean & conveniently located next to the pool/palapa bar AND you literally step off the patio right onto the beach! Amazing views with front row seats to some very entertaining whale watching. Non swimmable beach but so nice to see & hear the ocean. You can walk to Lands End - beautiful. Private owned condos, so the resort was peaceful, quiet and relaxing! Quick 10-minute walk to town for dinner. Troy the property manager was great to work with - would definitely recommend!

Be careful which unit you book online. They will switch your condo when you arrive. I booked through VRBO condo 105, which showed a newly renovated 1st floor condo with Miele kitchen appliances, a beautiful bathroom and a large outdoor patio. Upon arrival, the front desk informs me that that unit is occupied and shows me to a unit 216. The condo owner (the only saving grace to this whole experience) admitted that 216 was supposed to be gutted to start the renovation on the day of our arrival. Huh, you want me to pay $300+ to stay in a unit that I didn’t book??? Miguel the manager informed me that there were no other units available then Lorraine the owner jumped in and offered another unit of hers that was beautiful. But they need to move me in 4 days, when we’ve booked for 7. There was a lot of back and forth between the snake of the lady whom I’m renting from, Suzie (on VRBO) and Miguel. But wait, it gets better… they left our luggage unattended at the front of a hotel on a golf cart in the sweltering heat with our groceries literally melting. The luggage and groceries were left there, for us to haul down to our room ourselves. No help, no acknowledgment and definitely no apologies. Because the room we were temporarily moved to wasn’t fully cleaned just yet, we put our groceries away and went to the palapa bar to grab a bite and guess what??? As of July 10th it’s “closed for a couple of days” it’s the 16th today. So we find ourselves in the marina for a bite to eat. We come back to the hotel and request keys to our temporary unit, which the front desk has to call Miguel. Still no apology. And everybody is still playing the blame game. The room didn’t have any wifi info, and at this point I’m just over it. It was 6:30pm and I just wanted to rinse off, eat some food and chill out. This was by far, the WORST welcoming I have ever experienced. Don’t book with Suzie on VRBO and Terrasol staff needs a major “renovation” on hospitality and service. There is a lot of room for improvement here. I’m hopeful that the next 6 days here will be better than my first.

I have to say after my little health scare back in November we have been happily ensconced at Terrasol Elite.com since mid October. We have found during this time COVID runaways our best holiday destination in the last twenty years. Great people Miguel,Medina customer service manager the gardeners the sandrakers the multi unit owner Lorraine Spargothe community of owners and guests just love it. On a practical note they serve food breakfasts and lunch at the palapa with pool.fantastic people Mauricio Tina Jeffe lady cook just to name a few. Receptionist and staff I adore even had the pleasure of praying with some of them. Sunbathing in hot climates also popular are often populated with hawkers selling their wares. Not one.in five months. Mind you it helps that a mountain goes into the water each end of the beach hence the peacefulness

This place was amazing! If you can find a reservation here, book it! We found a unit through Airbnb and have stayed here twice now. Our unit was oceanfront with two outdoor patios. The resort is literally on the beach only steps away from the ocean. Unfortunately you cannot get in the ocean here but the views are great. We visited the two pools, most frequently visiting the pool with the swim up bar and restaurant. We had breakfast here everyday. There is onsite parking and you are walking distance to the marina! I’ve heard from other guests that some of the units aren’t as updated as others.

We stayed for 2 weeks at Terrasol having booked it 1 year in advance. Covid happened impacting travel from the US to Mexico so the original May 2020 had to be rescheduled to December 2020 but the owner couldn’t guarantee our original unit selection. It was inconvenient since we spent 2 nights in Unit 132 and then moved to Unit 236 for the balance. You adapt with the hand dealt. The owner unfortunately died in November a month before our stay. We dealt with a different management team based out of California who own a different condo within the resort. They honored our reservation. We had initially selected the 1-bedroom Unit 236 because it has a balcony overlooking the ocean and located on the 2nd floor. I personally feel more secure above the ground floor, fully realizing anybody can break into anything. We like to cook so the kitchen was well equipped with pans, dishes, and utensils. Bring your own corkscrew since the available one is not durable. The bathroom only has 1 sink but fully outfitted with towels, laundry supplies, washer/dryer, and a shower/tub. If you are only staying for 3 nights you don’t need to bring soap or shampoo. There was a hair dryer but the owner had advised to bring your own. The condo structurally is in great shape but needs an interior refresh for all living areas including paint, outlets, USB access, pillows (filthy, they need pillow protectors), and lighting. The top balcony seems like a cool idea but is useless. The hammock pictured in the photos doesn’t exist. No worries since you will be happy simply hanging out on the balcony off the living room and adjoining bedroom. Our initial yet unexpected 2-night stay was in Unit 132. It’s on the 1st floor right off the beach and one of the 2 pools. Although a large expanse, for us it lacks privacy especially at night with lights on. This would be ideal for families with small kids. Once again the lighting was sparse and as a person accustomed to light dimmers, it lacks appropriate ambiance at night. They did offer under counter lighting in the expansive kitchen. There are plenty of electrical outlets for USB plugs. Greatly appreciated since we had 2 computers + 2 iPads + 2 phones. It’s a 2-bedroom with a large master right on the ocean side with a recently updated 2-sink kitchen. The guest bedroom is more suitable for 1 person or 2 kids with zero view. There is no hair dryer so bring your own. The beach is very private. It’s quite the workout across the 1-mile expanse because it’s angled with no flat service. You walk down a dune-like sand ledge to get to the water. Red flags were posted during our December stay so I was cautious about walking in the water due to rip tides. The staff is very gracious. The continuous landscaping and up keeping of the grounds is a benchmark for any property. The food at the pool is good, my husband enjoyed his fajitas. They serve mixed drinks, beer, and my personal favorite Prosecco. We rented a car for 2 weeks which is pricey at $700 since your US insurance doesn’t cover Mexico. If you cook, it was good to have to make trips to Costco, Walmart, local grocery stores, and go on adventures outside of downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed a cooking class at Flora’s Field Kitchen, which is an organic 25 acre farm about 1 hour from town. You’ll be delighted by fireworks that spontaneously happen at night at neighboring properties as well as whale and sea lion appearances off the beach. Overall a great stay. I would recommend.
