We've been going to Cabo for the past 30 years and finally found our perfect place to stay in Unit 236 at Terra Sol. The apartment is well designed, recently renovated with new furniture and appliances, and has a wall of sliding glass doors onto the main balcony. We spent hours

We first ate at the Palapa Bar at Terrasol when we rented a place from one of the owners. We chatted with Mario (the server at the Palapa Bar), and he said we were welcome to eat there any time, even when not staying there. So we now have breakfast at least once a year and also

We recently visited Cabo on a family vacation and stayed in the Turtle's Crossing #169 at Terrasol. Based on the price we paid, it seems as though our money paid for the location and view. Having convenient access to the beach was a nice touch. Also being able to walk out the

Response from cabocraig, Owner at Terrasol Beach Resorts
Responded yesterday
OK, read this review below which is on VRBO from this month - then I will respond to the above review -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It Doesn't Get Better Than This! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been going to Cabo for the past 30 years and finally found our perfect place to stay in Unit 236 at Terrasol. The apartment is well designed, recently renovated with new furniture and appliances, and has a wall of sliding glass doors onto the main balcony. We spent hours watching whales, manta rays, cruise ships coming and going, fishing boats, and fireworks at night. The private upper deck gives you territorial views of the marina, "town," Medano Beach as well as the Pacific side. We were in Cabo for three weeks and have already booked for [3 weeks for] next year. in addition to the uniqueness of Terrasol and its staff (Esther and Mario especially) it is the owners Craig and Lori that will bring us back. My husband had just had two heart surgeries and when I called Craig one Sunday morning to ask him about the ER in the new Hospiten, his response was "I'll be there in 5 minutes." He was. He took us to the ER while calling his heart surgeon en route! He got us checked in and returned to see if we needed anything else... Thanks to his help we were able to relax amidst the beautiful gardens of Terrasol, swim in the two pools, have drinks and lunches in Mario's Palapa, walk the beach and watch the boats coming out to see the sunset. Evenings were spent walking to some of our favorite restaurants: Salvatores, Mi Casa, In Vita Bistro, Romeo & Juliette, Solomons and The Office. Life is good at Terrasol. Beth & Dave - Squamish, Washington Date of arrival: January 15, 2019 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ OK, I have checked my communication, and I was out-of town when the party who posted the "negative" review on TA - however, like with every renter that has an issue, I did deal with it "as best I could" - I say that, because my brother recently flew from Tibet [where he met with his friend and mentor, the Dalai Lama] to Hawaii - where he has a Buddhist Learning Center, his plane was diverted to Seattle, but en route to the hospital - he succumbed to a massive heart attack - and I was dealing with this when these renters were in Cabo. When I got the issues in Unit 169, I emailed and then confirmed with the GM of Terrasol, that he was dealing with this - and the next day he told me that his Maintenance Team had dealt with this issues. Thank God I please most of the renters most of the time, it's the reason that I have been doing this for 30 years, successfully, do about 3,000 room nights a year [the overwhelming majority of Terrasol Renters] - and enjoy it !! I have just taken a 3-week rental for Unit 169 from renters that left here two weeks ago - and loved it it [$7800] - and if you want to know who - [Ron & Linda Glantz] - who have just completed their 3rd rental through me. I have close to 200 days rented for Jan-March 2020 already in my 13 Terrasol condos ............ if I treated my important renters in a manner like these renters state, I would not be in business. In closing, having said all the above - I DO apologise to these renters, this was not right, and I have followed up with Terrasol. Craig J. Harrison [CPA-MBA], Ernst, South Africa, CIPS

We stayed at Terrasol over the 2018 Christmas holiday...we were there from Dec 15- Dec 28th, and stayed in unit 236, and our contact was Craig Harrison. First off, Terrasol is located on the best beach in the best part of Cabo...it is a private beach so to speak, you can't

What a lovely spot- exactly what we were looking for. A private, quiet beach with low volume of tourist traffic, a secluded enclave just a few minutes walk from downtown Cabo, and amazing accommodations!! We had Lori's two bedroom unit with a huge deck spanning the length of

Although there are always red flags, that is more due to liability purposes - people have drowned on this beach but it was usually due to night time excursions involving too much alcohol and being crushed into rocks. Many homeowners in Terrasol swim here on a regular basis and you don't have to be a Navy Seal, you just have to watch the conditions - only swim on very calm days when the swells are minimal and don't go out too far. You do need to be a competent swimmer and know what to do if you're caught in a rip but those are rare here. For instance, every beach in Australia has far worse rips than here and millions swim daily (but they grew up doing it). If you're only used to lakes, best to stay out. Or walk 5 minutes to the marina and get a water taxi (5 minute ride) to Medano Beach. As for the walk to town, if it takes you 15 minutes, you're walking very slowly.

Next time try VRBO #684504 at Terrasol. We stayed in this unit in March 2017 and it doesn't show up in in the VRBO search. There are so many names for this resort.... Terra Sol, Terrasol, Etc. This was a 2 bedroom ground floor unit. We enjoyed it and will book it again.

We use Browns Private Services Transportation, their rates are fair. For a few extra bucks they stop at Walmart so you can pickup any supplies you may need for your stay. Their vehicles are clean and their drivers are always on time

Every unit is independently owned and operated. Some owners choose to use a broker so that might save you time but each unit is unique and has its own merits and considerations. Best decisions are made by carefully reading each VRBO listing that suits you. It will take time to research, correspond, etc but its so much better than a generic hotel setting. It's worth the effort.
