This is our second time going to this resort, and it was even better now we had more time to explore and get to know the staff. We’ve been to a lot of nice resorts and hotels in this is one of the top ones that we stayed at. The service is impeccable and every inch of the grounds has been well-maintained and in great shape, not something I can say that all the nice places we stayed have done. Our butler Luis was Outstanding! Amazingly professional and friendly with a lot of inside information about the area and activities. He even surprised us with balloons and cake on my wife’s birthday in the room! Definitely ask for him to get top-notch service! Thanks Luis!!! Also several nights after dinner we hung out at the bar on the rooftop, when we met an awesome group of bartenders and waiters. Marcos was extremely warm and professional. He made us feel right at home, as well as recommending custom drinks that they made. He even brought a cool wooden snake toy as a gift for my sons. And definitely try the Mexican coffee table side it is an experience! Also Oscar at Los Riscos and Trinidad in the lobby remembered us from last time and we’re especially helpful and it made us feel great returning. There are many restaurants that have good food for an all inclusive, but my favorite was the taco and tequila café in the middle of the grounds. Also if you have kids and you need time to yourselves hit up the adult only pool next to the beach, the view was incredible. We’re already planning to go back for spring break! :-) And if you decide to look into ownership there, ask for Alberto he was great to work with and very upfront and honest.…
We go back frequently and always have a great time. This last time, Jose Luis was our butler and gave us attentive caring service every day! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is friendly. The views of the sea are spectacular.
Rosita left our rooms spotless each day! She even cleaned under the bed and found my grandmas lost makeup! Really appreciate the hard work she put in to make our stay amazing. Wouldn’t want anyone else to clean our room :)
We stayed a week at Vista Encantada and had a wonderful week. I want to give a shout out to our butler Ana Rodriquez. She was excellent--very responsive and helped us with all of our reservations for dinner and excursions. We are looking forward to returning and hopefully Ana will be our butler again. Thanks Ana for all you did for us:) Last year we stayed at the Residences and Enrique was our butler. He was just as amazing. He not only helped us with everything we needed but actually came by on our last day to bring birthday balloons and sing happy birthday to our daughter. It was so thoughtful. Thanks to Ana and Enrique for making our stays in Cabo great!
From the moment we arrived at Vista Encantada, you could tell it was going to be an incredible experience. Staff went out of their way to take care of us. The villa was incredible, as was the resort itself. Meals were outstanding, and one of the nicest parts of the All Inclusive deal was that you could enjoy many restaurants in town as well. Specifically, we would like to thank our butler, Paul who immediately responded to any requests we had, Ana at the front desk, and Elizabeth, who took such great care of our suite. We look forward to going back. Mary Q
Beautiful facilities with wonderful people who make the trip perfect. Excellent views of the Arch and Cabo. 4 bedroom villa was the perfect size for my wife and I along with our sons and my parents.
This is my first experience at a resort and I learned a lot (and had a great time). TL;DR: El Mestizo and El atico (rooftop bar) are open only to guests staying at Vista Suites. Get to the pool before 8am to get your preferred seats. YES, you should tip staff, preferably in cash. Be considerate to the staff and they will do everything they can to make sure you have a great time. Say no to the 90 minute presentation unless you want a timeshare. We have no opinion to give on excursions since we didn't go on any. My husband and I stayed 3 nights, so we had two full days and two partial days at the resort. It was our first time staying at an all inclusive resort and our first time in Cabo. Since we had so few days, we decided not to do any of the excursions. We had reserved a luxury suite at hacienda encantada. When we checked in we were asked if we'd like to be upgraded to the newer, fancier part of the hotel. Not understanding why, we graciously declined. The manager was called and he explained there was a leak in the room that we were supposed to be staying in and the resort was upgrading us free of charge to stay at Vista Suites. Sweet! There truly was no catch! This granted us access to two restaurants/bars: El Mestizo and El atico pool and bar. If you're staying at Hacienda Encantada, you are not able to access/enter these locations which is not mentioned on the website. Also, the Starbucks coffee at the coffee shop/deli (I think it was cafe Lola) is not included and you have to pay for that. The one other comment about check in- when discussing excursions, the person assisting us mentioned a 90 minute presentation (which I believe is the timeshare presentation other reviewers mention) and tour of the resort and golf course. If we participated, we'd get a discount on the excursions. We declined and said we only wanted to enjoy the pool and restaurants since we had such little time. The sales person didn't push it and said to think about it and let him know if we changed our minds. For dinner, we ate at La Trajinera, Los Riscos and El Mestizo. Jesus at El Trajinero and Alfonso at El Mestizo we're both lovely. I didn't catch the servers name at Los Riscos but he was just as attentive. All the meals were fantastic. Los Riscos is most romantic, La Trajinera had live piano and El Mestizo felt very swanky. There were a couple of items that were not included in the all inclusive package because of their cost (e.g. Tomahawk steak) and bottles of wine were also not included. You are able to order by the glass for their house wines which is included. Breakfast at Las Maria's was great and had a beautiful view. You can eat from the buffet or you can order from a menu. There was a bit of a line for the made to order omlet/egg station, but there was also hot food, cereals and other options. Fresco, the juice bar has drinks that are more like smoothies rather than juice, but still delicious. For the pool- you have to get there early to get lounge chairs. Early as in before 8AM. Many people reserve chairs and go to breakfast (or other not pool locations) staff do their best to manage this and pull towels but it was still full by the time 8:30 rolled around. The food was VERY good for lunch. Cocktails are poured very weak, but you can ask for doubles. It thins out a bit after 3, and if it's cloudy-ish at sunset there's hardly anyone around. At El Patio (the pool bar by the ocean), Roberto and Angel were AMAZING. They were quick at putting in our orders and getting us drinks. Humberto was our butler (this is the person that helps you with making reservations, mostly through text) and he was extremely helpful getting our reservations set up for all dinners. Victor was the bellhop that helped us the most. He took us for a tour of the resort as well as helping with our luggage. Pedro at Canto del mar (the little bar in the lobby of Vista Suites) was PHENOMENAL. He made the best, most thoughtfully crafted cocktails in the entire resort. As for a whiskey sour. Elizabeth was the housekeeper and kept things tidy and restocked in our room. …
From the time of our arrival, that staff at Hacienda Encantada was phenomenal, and stayed that way throughout our entire trip. The valet service, specifically Oscar, was punctual in bringing around our rental car, and was willing and kind enough to take us via golf cart to anywhere throughout the resort we pleased. The concierge desk was available 24/7, with fluent English speakers who were able to resolve any/all problems, and answer any questions we had. Our concierge, Ana, was knowledgeable about Cabo San Lucas, the activities in the area, and restaurants to recommend. Our housekeeper, Maria Prudente, did an incredible job. After each cleaning, the place was as spotless as when we arrived. You could tell she cared about doing a great job, and it definitely showed in her work. I would highly recommend staying at Hacienda Encatada to anyone looking for a recommendation! Only downside of the whole trip, was that there is no beach accessible from the resort, but since my family is not huge beach people to begin with, the many positives outweigh!…
This place was amazing!!! Top notch! The hotel was beautiful the care our staff gave us was beyond incredible. Special notation for HK Tomasa, Paul, Oscar and Victor but we didn’t have anyone that wasn’t wonderful!! Highly recommend this resort!
We have been going to Vista Encantada and the Residences for many years. This year however, we received the most amazing service from our butler Paul!! Paul went above and beyond all week to ensure everything went smoothly. If you have the opportunity to have Paul as your butler in the future, make sure he sings for you! What an amazing voice he has!! 🤩
