Nobu Hotel Los Cabos garners high marks for its cleanliness and serene atmosphere, with many guests complimenting the meticulously maintained grounds and relaxing vibe accentuated by live music. While the spacious and luxurious rooms receive accolades, opinions about the hotel's secluded location are mixed. The upscale amenities, including diverse dining and pool options, impress, but some guests feel the value is diminished due to high food prices and occasional service lapses.

Upon checking out, as a departing guest is being presented with the bill, the words "we expect to have given you the BEST VACATION EXPERIENCE" are printed on the bill. They are justified, this is special place.

4 or 5 great restaurants, 3 pools and friendly staff who make eye contact and greet guests regardless of the time of day as you amble around the restaurant. Alan, our butler or 'concierge' made the experience special and personalizes the experience. While small next to the 600 room Hard Rock Hotel, this is a still a 200 room property. The individual concierge makes it a personal experience for each guest. Alan Santiago was quite brilliant in this role and full of advice. He made reservations, suggested tours and organized tennis next door. He just made our vacation better.

The F+B is all wonderful especially the swim up bar which must have the best menu of any swim up bar in the World. Nobu, the restaurant was characteristically super but expensive - Ardea and Pacific are more Mexican and better priced. Service is wonderful throughout out the resort but best in the Playa Bar (Paco).

A special place, ideal for familes or couples. Only negative was upon check-in and then the hard sell for residence time shares. The 'free lunch' turned out to be three hours of time taken away from the poolside so my advice is proceed straight to your room at check-in but this was the only minor blemish on a wonderful 5 days there. We were a family of 5 with adjacent rooms overlooking the ocean - magical. We'll return !

We just got back from our 7 day, 6 night trip to Nobu and all I can say is “WOW!”. The resort was impeccably maintained and incredibly beautiful; the onsite restaurants were phenomenal which was topped only by the incredible service provided by the resort staff. Additionally, the staffs attention to detail made this trip very special. From the beach bags included in the rooms, the automatic curtains, comfortable beds, beautiful wooden tubs with the rain shower, perfectly manicured landscaping, amazing lounge chairs with great umbrellas to keep you in the shade or the sun! It was very easy to escape to a special place in the resort and feel so at ease and tranquil. We spent our days eating some of the best food we have every tasted (Nobu restaurant definitely lives up to the hype) and lounging by one of the 3 pools. We ordered something different off menu everyday and nothing disappointed. But by far, our most favorite part was the warm, welcoming, and hard working staff and employees.

We decided to use the Nobu car service and got picked up a great guy named Fernando. He was funny, knowledgeable, and a great driver! We were then greated by Alejandro who was so helpful and kind and showed us around the beautiful resort. Johnathan from room service who always brought us our afternoon snack in our room and was so unbelievably kind and made sure to say hello to us whenever we saw him around the resort. All the bartenders were so amazing but shout outs to Antonio who introduced us to our new favorite mezcal and teaching us about the different tequila and mezcals of Mexico and then Federico and Reese from the Playa bar who Federico knew how to get the drinks flowing and Reese made dang good cocktails, some of the best we ever had! Ivan who was our waiter for lunch, breakfast and dinner multiple times and was so attentive and great...the list could go on and on for the names we didn’t catch!! Really, the people made our experience above and beyond what we typically experience at other hotels.

Nobu also made sure everything was clean and safe and complied with the covid-19 precautions to make sure their guests felt comfortable.

We just returned from our six night stay at Nobu Hotel, Los Cabos. This hotel is amazing. From arrival to departure everything was perfect, except a day of overcast skies. The hotel arranged our transfers and they went off without a hitch. The room had everything we needed (including a Chi hair dryer) and was very clean and quiet. Despite our length of stay, we had no problem finding different great food for every meal. We ate breakfast daily at Malibu Farms, and often dinner there also. The service was friendly, quick and professional, difficult to remember everyone but our servers included Lisabeth, Jesus, Gerardo, Erik, and Eladio. They remembered our names and knew my husband took cream with his coffee. Our days were spent at the pool with Sergio and Miguel taking care of all our needs. Quick to anticipate our needs, called us by names and made our days go soooo fast. Great drinks and food from the Playabar. Usually I don’t like to use bathrooms at pools d/t cleanliness but the bathroom at the pool was amazing. Every time I used it, it seemed to have just been cleaned(with empty garbage can, dry floor and folded/embossed toilet paper end, yes I said embossed). We also ate at Pacifico and my husband loved his lobster and pasta. Mirna took good care of us. We ate one night at Nobu, it was so good had to go back next night and just went to the bar at Nobu for more sushi and drinks. Carlos and Edwin helped us navigate the menus and gave us excellent recommendations. We had a couple messsage by Andrea and Grecia, and it was the BEST. Andrea at the Spa desk was great to work with scheduling our massages, while Junior gave us a tour of the spa and amenities. Wish we would have done that daily. Cute coffee area with delicious pastries and coffee for mid afternoon pickup, Enrique and Rosa were able to find something for this non coffee drinker. We have vacationed multiple times in Punta Cana, Jamaica, Riviera Maya and always felt a little on edge regarding safety. During our stay at Nobu we never felt uneasy or as if someone was watching(stalking) us. We felt very comfortable in our surroundings.
Would LOVE to return soon! 5 STAR

I'm in the travel industry so very picky about hotels. This resort is nothing short of stunning! I toured all areas of the resort and came away extremely impressed. The spa is really something and the guest rooms from Deluxe to the Suites are huge (Deluxe 514 sq ft, Suites are up to 2628 sq ft). They are a beachfront location in the Diamante area which is very exclusive and secluded. There is a golf course behind the resort but is not part of Nobu. They will make arrangements and transport the golfers. I think we went through two sets of security gates to get to the property.

Nobu is very quiet. For guests who want total relaxation and incredible service, I highly recommend. The Hard Rock is next door (the only two properties on the beach) but requires a day pass for the Nobu guests. You don’t hear any of the noise.

I can’t say enough good things about the place. They don’t miss a beat. The quality, service, rooms, restaurants and grounds are nothing short of spectacular.

The Nobu brand speaks for itself! Nobu Hotel blew my mind beyond my expectations! The hotel is absolutely stunning! My man and I stayed in room 2125 which has a private pool that was so serene, we rarely wanted to leave the room. Every dish we ordered at the restaurants were 5 stars! The service is a step above the rest! Alan was so helpful and took the best photos. Debra nailed it with the recommendations off-site. And Gabriel, Caesar & Antonio made sure we we’re always happy poolside! Best spicy margaritas I’ve ever had!! Nobu restaurant held a really fun family style BBQ with a huge firework show at 10pm! The bed was very comfortable, towels are super soft, grounds are spotless, and everyone abided by the Covid 19 rules and regulations. I am DEFINITELY returning to Nobu Hotel and I HIGHLY advise anyone to choose your next stay at Nobu Hotel Cabo if you like the grown and sexy vibe! Off the grid, secluded from the party scene, but close enough if you want a night out or beach excursions! Thank you so much to the Nobu staff. xo Skye M.

I traveled to Cabo San Lucas in March 2022 with a friend for a long weekend getaway and Nobu Los Cabos did NOT disappoint!
I have to be transparent, there was a little bit of an issue trying get clarity and to iron out airport transport prior to my arrival (calling the Florida based customer service number and then being transferred to the hotel) however once we arrived I had no remnants of any type of issue.
We arrived at the airport and our airport transfer took us to the hotel. As I had requested prior to my trip, we stopped at a local grocery store for supplies on the way to the hotel.
Upon arrival to the hotel we were greeted, provided with hand sanitizer, asked to sanitize our shoes and then taken to the lobby. Our luggage was taken to be sanitized and then brought up to the room just after us. We were greeted and offered tea, asked to sign standard check in documents and then introduced to our personal concierge for our stay!! We even received a room upgrade! :-) we got a top floor (5th floor room) with a core of the “quiet pool” and the ocean. The room was very spacious, full of whatever amenities you may need, and the bathroom amazing!!
Our personal concierge (Alan) was great. He took us on a property tour and talked with us about our plans during our trip. Upon arriving at our room he showed us the technology snd took down details of our plans in his iPad (dinner reservations I had made prior to arriving) and then (without being asked) took initiative to arrange transport to our dinners during our stay. He also scheduled out Covid-19 testing appointment for us. Alan was able to be reached anytime by WhatsApp and even scheduled dinner reservations for us at the Nobu restaurant one night.
This hotel was beautiful in the minimalist Nobu style and definitely top tier. All of the staff was so polite and seemed genuinely happy to have us!
We spent most of our days at the “loud” pool with the DJ, eating from the poolside restaurant play bar. TIP: get to that pool early to reserve your desired spot as they go early. You can go early and put your towel, beach bag down and the return later on to your desired spot.
I really enjoyed myself and will DEFINITELY be back to Nobu Los Cabos. I wish they had a loyalty program as I intend on becoming a REGULAR GUEST there! Already planing my next stay there as we speak!
If your thinking of booking...just do it!!

A beautiful zen like space and amazing service from Jonathan from room service to Christopher from concierge have been so thoughtful and made me feel special.

Nobu is on point in adhering to Covid rules from wiping down everything to sanitizing your luggage even cleaning your shoes. You don't have to worry about anyone not following Covid rules and not be overzealous about it.

We stayed at Nobu Los Cabos from 3/26 to 4/2 2021. From the moment we arrived at the property we were blown away by the treatment of the staff! From Marco the valet/bellhop greeting us at our car to the check in process everything felt like we were the most important people at the resort. Ricardo was assigned as our ambassador and he was very attentive and helpful without being overbearing or annoying. I would normally get a text once a day asking if there was anything we needed and we could text him at any time for any reason and he would make it happen!

We tried all of the restaurants at the hotel and while all were great we didn't love Ardea the steakhouse. We are used to Capital Grille/Mastros type steakhouses and this one just didn't deliver the flavor. The atmosphere was great but the food at Ardea was just ok.

Aside from Ardea I have nothing but compliments to give to the entire property and all of the staff (and the staff at Ardea was great as well, we just didn't love the food). Malibu Farm was right outside the front door of our room and we ate there every morning of our trip. We were served by either Kimberly or Carlos every day and those two are at the top of their game. And the blackberry smoothies at Malibu Farm are worth the cost of the trip by themselves!

Since our room was a swim up room we spent most of our pool time in the pacific pool. Sergio was the gentleman that took care of us every day while in the pool and once again made us feel like the most important people at the resort. He would always seem to notice us the minute we stepped into the water and would have a cabana with towels and bottled water ready for us. He even learned our favorite food and drink items by the third day and would have those for us without us needing to ask.

And what's a stay at Nobu without eating at Nobu! We ate there twice during our trip and both times were absolutely amazing. We have eaten at Nobu in NYC and LA so we are familiar with their menu and this one did not disappoint. And the views of the sunset from the outside dining at Nobu have to be some of the best on the island!

We also set up a whale watching excursion with the Sunrider 100! I'll share more about that in a review of the ship but it's probably the most amazing thing I've ever done on a vacation. We spent over an hour within 50' of three humpback whales and watched them play and breach like we weren't even there.

On our last day at the hotel we received a knock at our room door and were greeted with a bottle of champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries with a handwritten note from Ricardo. This was the perfect ending to a perfect family vacation :)

The Nobu Hotel Los Cabos is a top-notch and exclusive property far away from all the bustle of LC and SJC. The property is located within a beautiful golf course and has an amazing and relaxing stretch of uninhabited beachfront. All facilities exude luxury and exclusivity, from the three pools to the amazing (yet small) Japanese style rooms.

The food, especially Malibu Farm, is far from memorable, nothing to write home about. At the Nobu restaurant, the food was good but extremely expensive. Average of US$400 for 2 people, much more expensive than in other Nobu locations (and food portions are tiny).

My big complaint, and the reason why I would hesitate to stay here again, is the service. Don't get me wrong, no one was rude, most of the staff was just average and cold. No greetings when you encountered most of the staff, no smiles, no nothing. Most of them just seemed to be interested in doing their job, nothing more.
The most disappointing service came directly from our "butler" which we met once during check-in. They provide you with your butler's phone number to contact by message. Most of his responses were one syllable such as "yes" or "no". We contacted him to request a late checkout and he literally answered they could offer us a one-hour late checkout (wow, thanks), if we stayed any longer they would automatically charge us for the additional night. What kind of response is that, no tact at all. Anyways, he never checked on us during our stay. You don't need to pretend all rooms have a butler, It would've been more efficient just to call directly the front desk. For an excellent butler service, stay at the One & Only, Le Blanc, or Grand Velas.

Before leaving for the airport we took a quick shower at the SPA, when we entered the facilities, the front desk employee told us they were closing in 15 minutes and asked us to confirm if we would be ready by that time. As bluntly as it sounds. Such behavior is undesirable at a property like this.

Notwithstanding the above, we did encounter some exceptional staff such as Abby, Alberto, and Juan at the Pacific restaurant and Celeste at the front desk. Those were our only memorable interactions.

Overall, for a rate of US$700 per night, the whole experience leaves a lot to be desired. When returning to Los Cabos, I would not consider staying here again.

My friend and I just stayed here for a week. Everyone that works here is super nice and accommodating, most especially, our butler Yomali!! Any time we needed anything I could text her and her reply was always prompt and helpful. She went out of her way to accommodate one of our requests and we really appreciated that.

The rooms are spacious and the bathroom has really gorgeous lighting. Loved the Japanese style bathtub and I was also impressed that they provided a steamer for my clothes. It’s the little things you know? Also thanks to the blackout curtains and high end bedding, I slept extremely well. (Seriously it’s not often my sleep cycle app gives me a 98% quality)

The hotel design is so gorgeous and minimalist as aligns with Nobu branding. I was able to “WFH” and still enjoy some of the amenities such as the pool, restaurants and fitness center. Unfortunately my friend and I did not enjoy the food at Pacific, but Nobu was absolutely delicious. Just be sure to expect to spend $$$ there or else leave hungry! For example, it is $9 for 1 single piece of salmon nigiri but you must buy 2, which comes to $18... it may be worth it for one night but I do recommend renting a car and driving down to the marina which is only around 30 min away for some authentic Mexican, yummy and well priced food. We visited a restaurant called La Lupita one night and it was probably our favorite food spot from the whole trip.

People watching was fun as the crowd was super trendy and we even spotted a few celebrities ;) I highly recommend Nobu hotel and would love to visit again.
