Hotel's Favorite
My husband and I came for our 10 year wedding anniversary . Starting off with the airport transfer it went smooth we were able to find the rep outside and the ride felt like less than 50 minutes.
The hotel was extremely nice along with ALL STAFF we encountered. Right away we were offered a drink and shown to our room after checking in.
Our favorite pool was the Lyric pool with outstadning serivce from Sergio Garza Rael , he kept the drinks coming and made sure we had all the shade we needed .
Our favoite meal place were The Market for breakfast with outstanding service from Valentin, he made sure we had everything we needed and remembered to bring me a mimosa right away every morning.
Los Gallos had really good fish taco's, fish ceviche and chips and guac.
Taro has really good argentinean empanadas.
We definetly will be back and highlly recommend !!!

Senior Trip 2020~
After much debate we decided to travel as planned to celebrate the high school graduation of our son and three of his friends. The Presidential Suite was amazing! We never heard the boys when the doors were latched and enjoyed the spacious room and the extra amenities that came with it. One of those 'extras' was our Personal Assistant, Mau. Mau was a fabulous butler last November and his service as our PA was even better. He was attentive, proactive with reservations and excursions, coordinated with house keeping to keep the rooms clean and towels fresh, and worked with the food service to make sure the two June birthdays were celebrated, too. When you travel with a Personal Assistant or Butler, ask for Mau, you will not be disappointed!
We spent many days at the Members Pool because the service there was off the charts. Fredy did a great job setting up and keeping our Bali Bed area clean and our towels fresh. We missed him when he rotated to the other open pools and we celebrated when he returned. Some people lament that swim up bars were closed, but with Castillo and Isa as our servers, we never missed them. These two servers never let a cup dry, kept the cold drinking water flowing, and never let us get hungry, thirsty, or buried in used cups or dishes.
We were so happy to find Aldo and Lux prepping sushi and creating amazing samples at the Sushi Bar in Zen. We missed Ronal C at Zen (he did an amazing managing Zen last November) but were so pleased with how well Toro and Ipanema ran under his management. He is always friendly, willing to jump in when needed, and recommends the best selections for each of us at each restaurants.
When you're enjoying an All-Inclusive, you're spending time at the bars. Omar, Giovani, and Julio made magic with drinks. They were entertaining to watch, creative when you're uncertain about what you want, and understanding when teenage boys are celebrating. When you want to sit at a table rather than order yourself, Reyna is the waitress you want serving you. She's attentive and friendly at all times. It's good to feel special or memorable on occasion, and Julio is the man for that. When he greats you with your favorite drink, in a different location, you know he loves his job and goes above and beyond to make your vacation 'top-shelf!'
I know life is uncertain, but if you have the means and you're healthy, I say travel. Hard Rock Los Cabos was clean, conscientious, and very aware of everything that needed to be done to keep their guests and staff safe and healthy.

Pros: Breathtaking setting on the Pacific, our luxurious suite room was first class with a balcony to the sea. Suite included a sectional sofa and two bathrooms. The pools were ideal, plenty of chairs. The staff was excellent, always anxious to please and very courteous. Drinks were filled immediately; waiters and bartenders were always very attentive. Most importantly, the staff all wore masks and the resort was constantly cleaned. We felt safer here than in the US. In downtown Cabo, we found the same scenario. All citizens wore masks and you were "temp" screened at many stores. Menus are scanned into your phone so as to prevent cross contamination.
Cons:The food! Breakfast and were delicious and well presented. The steak house was marginal, do not expect quality meat. But the Brazilian restaurant was a disaster!! Ambiance like a 24-hour diner and gristle food served on sticks. Our armbands were a different color and only when we checked out did we discover they were "VIP". Not a clue what that would have entitled us to. Phoning the front desk often went unanswered, this is concerning if there had been and emergency. The additional bathroom shower flooded both rooms, creating a potential slippery hazard and soaking some of our clothes. Many of the staff understood no English. We wanted to make reservation at another Hard Rock resort and were conned into taking session on their time share program, the “Legends”. Don’t do it! Resort is a $35 cab ride to downtown Cabo.

We had an awesome time at the HRH in Cabo! The hotel was clean. Plenty of staff to help with every need/want. Great café for quick treats and specialty coffees. Decent entertainment and food/drinks. The
Grounds were clean. The rooms are spacious with a huge retracting sliding door to a beautiful balcony that is equipped with a jetted tub. The pools are immaculate and there are many to choose from (party atmosphere or laid back, shallow kiddie play areas and small water park with slides too). Beach is clean and well kept. You cannot swim in the ocean, but we did see humpbacks right from the beach!
Excursions can be booked at the hotel and was an easy process. Hotel transfers for the excursions are extra, somewhere around $10-15 USD if I recall. Zero language barrier. Spa was good, wished they had a “hot” hot tub... it was barely warm. Almost everyone spoke fluent English. Thanks HRH, we had a wonderful week staying with you!

My family and I and my two sisters and their families went during Christmas. The hotel is not what you think. They are not covid cautious at all, they only clean every 2 days, they make you sign a waver once you arrive about not cleaning. They were having pool games example beer contest with the two contestants standing right next to each other and drinking up or other games that encouraged everyone to be close to eachother, no 6 ft, no social distancing, no mask. We ordered food at the pool and the waiter kept saying its coming, then people around us would get their food that they ordered after us and still no sign of ours, after 2hrs and two mangers later the 2 cheese pizza shows up. This happened all most everyday. This is when the hotel is only at 50% capacity,not sure what would happen at 100%. Most employees don't speak English, not even security,an instant of child abuse happened and we saw it and good luck trying to explain that to security because they don't speak English and they really would not do much about it. Even though they had cameras and the family was from California. We beg them to help this kids and they said well you're in Mexico parents treat kids this way. To say we were appalled and would never stay at any hard rock again. It even gets better,take your own towels as they bring you ripped towels not one but every towel we got had a rip in it, in all 3 rooms. We travel a lot and never thought we experience this type of stuff at a five-star hotel let alone a American-owned Hotel. They didn't even send us a hotel survey because they knew how bad things were, the managers are the ones who told us to write all this in the survey but we never got it. Beware!!!!!

Certainly the cleaning service has been reduced to every other day, this is clearly expressed at our official website and confirmed at your check in. We are looking to reduce the contact between the staff and our guests, however you can request the service or any extra amenity any time if needed. We also have many protocols to make sure all our guests and team members are in a safe environment, we are sad to read you had the wrong impression. I can guarantee most of my colleagues are able to communicate with our guests that speak english in an efficient manner, we regret that we didn't have the opportunity to assist you with any of our managers around the property, concierge team, resort services team, front desk and our 24hours operators. The hotel is about an hour from the airport, but it's worth the extra drive! We arrived and was greeted immediately by our concierge (this person is also your contact for everything during your stay). He told us what to expect while checking in, which was sanitizing our shoes and hands- and taking our temps. Check-in was a breeze. Everything was explained to us in detail. Room was great. We had a 7th floor ocean view room. Plenty of room for two adults and two kids. Amenities are great. Everything was set up per distancing guidelines. All employees wore face masks, guests do not have to. Of course our kids favorite part were the slides. Two of the three slides were open, since it's during Covid hotel isn't even close to full capacity so no lines for the slides. Pools are great, great temperature. Poolside drinks and food are amazing. All food was enclosed when delivered to us. Due to capacity limits only 2-3 restaurants are open each night, again no lines though. But would highly recommend reservations still due to limited tables inside the restaurants. All the food was great. All the servers were great. Husband had a ribeye at the steakhouse and he said it was best meal he's ever had at a resort. The arcade is great, not huge though so I'm not sure how they make it work when hotel is at full capacity. Shows were fun, we went to the show each night we were there. We didn't due any excursions due to covid. We did meet a family that was going fishing, so at least that's open. One tip from me if you are using Costco to book, look at all the perks that go with the limitless options. I didn't and greatly regret it! I went for a pedicure since they are still closed where we live, and at checkout she said because of my limitless status my pedi cost went from $55 to $13.75!! We had discounts for other spa services as well, I really kicked myself for that one. I didn't get the pedi until second to the last day we were there so I didn't have time to schedule anything else. Our favorite bartender was Israel, he's located at the bar that's between Toro and the French Restaurant. He invited us to come back after our dinner so he could fix us some drinks that go well after dinner, and he did not disappoint! You can tell he loves his job! Our favorite server was Hoguer at Toro, he knew the menu like the back of his hand and him and his assistant gave impeccable service. Again, all the service was great but these two stood out to us during our stay.

I recently spent 3 nights at the HRH Los Cabos and it was great! The hotel took extreme caution due to COVID by following cleaning guidelines and the requirement of guest wearing masks. It made me feel very safe. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.
Raul from Zen and The Market restaurants showed great customer service by recommending delicious food and drinks.
One thing I didn't like about the hotel is that I wasn't able to enjoy the beach. Due to huge and rough waves, it wasn't safe to get into the water. However, the pool area was available to use. The lounge chairs at the pool area were evenly spaced allowing guest to social distance. The live band at the pool area provided great Spanish music that made me want to get up and dance. And I can't forget the waiters at the pool who always came by ready to refill my cocktail.
The spa amenity was extremely calming and relaxing. I really liked the hydrotherapy experience followed by the aromatherapy massage.
The guest room was very nice. The room was properly sanitized based on the COVID cleaning guidelines. The bed was soft and comfortable and the view of the beach was amazing.
The night time entertainment was my favorite. You were able to see the Spanish culture up close when the hotel hosted a Havana Party with live music, mojitos and Cuban cigars. There was even a Mariachi band in full costume that serenaded the crowd followed by a Mexican dance show.
Overall I felt the HRH Los Cabos was a great place to stay.

We visited the HRHLC last week for our honeymoon and had an amazing experience from top to bottom. From the second we arrived, the safety precautions were obvious. They sanitized our shoes, had hand sanitizer available all over and before entering any of the restaurants, and the staff was incredible with their attention to detail when it came to mask wearing, cleaning the common areas, and allowing distance between guests. Honestly, we felt much safer around the resort than we did coming back home.
Besides one day-long excursion, we spent all of our time around the resort, mainly the pool. We had excellent service nearly every day from the pool waiters, Castillo to name one, and loved the entertainment that Luna provided in the Lyric pool. She was such a sweetheart, got so many people engaged in the activities and seemed to talk to everyone as if they were the most important people there. Our favorite was Juan Moreno though. We met him on Tuesday morning at the pool, he was so quick with drinks all afternoon and then before he left for the night, we saw him while watching a turtle on shore. He still remembered both our names and proceeded to explain all about what the turtle was doing/looking for. The rest of the week we made it a point to seek out Juan and sit in his area, wherever that was. He was such a kind person and hard worker, and by the end of the week, we had gotten to know him pretty well and were so sad to leave him that last day. He is truly an asset to this resort!
We tried all of the restaurants at least once, with our favorites being Ciao & Toro for dinner. Breakfast was solid each day with Laura, our waitress in the Market, and Farid (Ciao & Los Gallos) being some of the highlights.
Mau, our personal assistant was so helpful all week long in booking spa treatments and dinners and giving us information about various excursions that we were considering. We were told that our room would be cleaned every other day when we checked in, but were pleasantly surprised that everything was cleaned 6 of the 7 days that we were there. We also really enjoyed our spa day and the service we received from both Angela and Jared.
We were able to catch quite a few shows and evening activities and enjoyed the majority of them.
Overall, we had an amazing experience! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the resort facilities were great! Looking forward to hopefully getting back to the HRHLC sometime soon!

The resort is brand new, immaculate and has lots of potential. Overall the service, food and drinks were good and some of the staff were fantastic! Dany, the pool concierge, and Oscar and Gabo, servers at the Rhythm pool were great, as was Alex at Eden pool. And we loved Israel at the small bar downstairs next to Caio. They all made our stay lovely.
We found that many of the staff are new, so struggled to understand some of the basics. For example, we had booked a Bali bed at the Rhythm pool for the second day were were there, and were told to check in with the pool concierge upon arrival but the one who was working at 8:45 am (not Dany) didn’t know what we were talking about. And upon check in, we tried to upgrade our room but the young woman helping us didn’t seem to know what she was doing, so we didn’t end up upgrading (but were willing to pay extra so the resort missed out!!).
We loved the Torro steakhouse and Zen asian restaurants, and our room was nice and clean but a bit on the small side. The premium alcohol brands (Grey Goose, Hendricks, etc.) was a great touch. And it didn’t hurt that humpback whales were swimming by the resort just a short distance from the beach!
A couple of tips - the spa is beautiful and if you have the Limitless Package, you only pay 25%. We really enjoyed it and the massages were very good. The Bali beds at Rhythm are a great place to spend a day for $75, but get there early to make sure you get a quiet spot (the resort actually ran out of lounge chairs one day! Like at all the pools!!!). Book your restaurant reservations for the week when you get there to make sure you get into some of the popular places. The hotel appears to be fully booked on the weekends but quieter through the week (which we enjoyed).
Overall a great spot which will be exceptional when the staff are all trained up. It really is a beautiful property.

For those who are concerned about Health and covid issues at the Hard Rock Los Cabos, I can assure you that the staff goes to great lengths to ensure your safety. Very Vigilant with Mask and cleaning protocol and it does not interfere with your enjoyment of the property.
Most rooms have a beautiful ocean view and make sure you get the room you request. if you do not like it they will accomodate..
We found that food was ok at first but then we got into the Menus and found some really great creations at every restaurant. You must dig in and explore, you will not be disappointed . Drinks, room and pool service was also great. The wait staff in all the restaurants were friendly and attentive. They will bring you anything you request even if it was something from another restaurant. Our personal assistant was awesome.. Just ask them when there days off are and you will be assigned another when they are not available.
We ended up booking another week at Unico in the Rivera Maya at a reduced rate. We have been there before and just had to go back. It is Higher end resort all round and adults only. Would definitely return to HR in Cabo some time in the future.
Things to be aware of
1. If you want to take the Hotel tour and go through the in house 90 minute sales pitch you receive a 300 dollar credit. Some of the money can be used for an excursion and some for Spa.
2. If you are asked to take a quick quality survey upon your exit, you may want to avoid. It is another sales pitch.
Our Vacation was fantastic ! Good Luck
