Marina Fiesta has a great location. I have visited this resort on 3 different vacations, and each has been a very good experience. The bell service we got from Alejandro and Rowdy was very good. Vladimer provided us great service at the resort restaurant. Our concierge was wonderful making our dinner reservations each day and scheduling our Covid tests prior to our departure. They will also ask you to visit another concierge that would like to sign you up for a time share presentation. The woman we worked with was very nice although we did NOT do the presentation. We never do these as we are just not interested. They did offer us several different things to do, but it is not worth our time to just say no in the end. We did visit the sister site. It is beautiful and huge. We would consider staying here on another trip. It is about 30 minutes away and they offer a free shuttle so you can use the facilities, restaurants, and bars at each resort. Our favorite restaurant was the Baja Lobster. They have a great filet. Much better than Jacks. The pasta restaurant was also very good. The Mexican restaurant was also good and had a very nice breakfast. It also has an awesome cheese appetizer for dinner that is also a show with flames! Order and enjoy the show! Not everything is included with the all-inclusive. You can pay an additional $35 per day for a more extensive selection of food and alcohol. What was offered was not enough for us to do this; but might be an option for 1 or 2 days if you want the specialty food items (think lobster) and top shelf alcohol. The roof top bar is nice and provides a great view of the marina. We scheduled our room to be cleaned every other day. Very important that you tell them this at check in or they will do it daily and charge you $5 per day/cleaning. Our mini fridge was stocked daily with water, soft drinks, and beer. If they don't fill it just call 8003 and they will bring your drinks right up! There are only a few things I would like to see changed... 1) They do not allow you to take left over food out. That is unfortunate as I like some food the next day and this could possibly cut down on a meal the next day which would be a win for the resort. 2) They do not allow you to order and take a meal back to your room. This makes no sense to me. You have to eat in the restaurant or order room service (at an additional cost). I would still tip on the meal, so this really should change. Maybe build in a tip to take out if necessary. We don't always feel like going out so this would be a nice change. 3) Our room was nice. We booked the Grand Luxe Jr Suite with a view of the marina. Housekeeping did a great job except they missed cleaning the glass shower door/enclosure. I know, a little OCD but that bugs me. Sorry not sorry. Over-all it was a very good holiday. As others have noted, this is close to Medano beach and all the party bars downtown. We didn't go to the bars due to Covid, but the location really is great. We will no doubt return for more good times.

La Palapa crew at Marina Fiesta are the best! We were here for 2 weeks and they not only made sure we were well watered and fed, they also made suggestions and surprise drinks which never disappointed! Thank you Gabrielle, Fredy, Louise, Raymondo and the rest of the hard working crew! The elevated view of the marina was a delight and we spent 90% of our time here. When we did venture out, Freddy and the breakfast team were always one step ahead of us and had our coffees and lattes prepped and ready with a smile.

This was our first time at Marina Fiesta. We loved the size of the resort and loved being able to walk down some stairs and be at the Marina. We did not do All-Inclusive at this resort because we wanted to experience many restaurants at the Marina and we are not sorry about our decision. We've always done all inclusive at other resorts but the food (& drinks) at the Marina were far superior to any all inclusive resort we've experienced. Staff is not as friendly as other resorts which was odd to us. We are used to everyone saying hello to us but not many did. All in all it's a great spot and we will probably be back!

We all had a wonderful time and would definitely go back again; only issue was with billing; now just waiting on response from resort as both couples were overcharged on check in and didn't find out until we got home and checked credit card.

We booked this resort due to the amazing location on the boardwalk. Little did we know this was going to be one of the only positive things about the resort. When we first arrived, the front desk workers seemed friendly. However, after checking in they were close to useless & unresponsive to our requests. Halfway through the trip, two of my friends tested positive and had to quarantine in one of the rooms. They called down for basic necessities such as pillow cases and shampoo. The receptionist said they would bring it up and it never came. I physically had to go down and ask for the items, and still had to wait a while. This happened multiple times. This is not the worst part. We were also asked to leave the room for a couple hours while it was being sanitized. When we returned, there was cash missing from my bag and our stuff was moved. When I notified the front desk they gave me an incident report and was more worried about their reviews than my lost money. The lady was very short with me and seemed to have her attention elsewhere. And best for last. The hotel staff told us that the discounted rate for Covid positive guests that needed to quarantine would be $140 per night and 40% off room service. They also agreed to use the credit from the rest of our stay that we canceled toward their stay while quarantining. When my friends finally tested negative and were checking out, not only did the front desk lie about the rate being $150 per night, they also asked for additional payment. Before leaving we made sure that there was a note on the account to use the credit toward their stay. I also triple checked with them to make sure that this was going to be done automatically at check out. If you are planning on staying at this resort, please brace yourself if you need any kind of accommodation other than being checked in. If you happen to need any type of refund or have any issues with the charges to your account, it will be next to impossible to receive help. The front desk shuffles you off to someone seated in the lobby and most of the time they are “busy” and won’t be able to help until later. After leaving the resort, I called and kept being put on hold. Then they will transfer me and someone will tell me they will look into it and call me back. I have called 5-6 times regarding the same issue and still no one has reached out. I usually wouldn’t leave bad reviews like this but the amount of times they mistreated us was astounding. I can forgive waiting a while for room service or the overpriced drinks at the pool but they straight up lied about room rates, became extremely rude when we asked for a refund for the rest of our stay, and not to mention the missing cash.
