My wife and I have been coming here for years. This is considered our happy place. We enjoy coming here together but once a year we bring our kids. Last trip there was an incident that was concerning. I wrote a review and gave management the opportunity to make it right. Well all I can say is they tried. This incident pales in comparison to the good times we have had here. The luxury and relaxation we enjoy here far outweighs any issues we have ever had. I was sad to write it but even more sad to not consider the Garza Blanca when traveling. The staff here does the very best to make you feel happy. I want to give a special shout out to Sergio the front desk manager. After the incident he reached out and was very helpful in explaining what happened and how. He was very sincere and apologetic. This interaction changed my outlook from it, what happened should not have been an issue and it's not. This resort has great people and great amenities. This resort is hands down the best resort in Cabo. Sergio is fantastic! He is one of the very best people in the business. Armando at the pool is the greatest. We seriously could not go to Cabo and stay anywhere else.

We just returned from a great trip at Garza Blanca Los Cabos. We had stayed at their sister property, Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta, many times but now with a toddler have to choose a family resort. The pool set up was great and it never felt crowded given all the pools and space. The heated pools were excellent as well and kept us warm even when the sun went behind the buildings.
Service was a 10/10 on all but one of our 8 days (Saturday of overlapping spring break weeks was a little slower and we had to ask for things a second time, but understandable). We had to adjust a few of our expectations from Mousai as that is a 5 Diamond/Star resort and GB Cabo is 4, but the hotel prices were also adjusted accordingly and felt very fair (slightly smaller rooms, not as of great views from "ocean view" room, no hard liquor in mini bar, mini bar restocking was hit or miss, smaller room service menu, not a fully "smart" room).
Hiroshi is our favorite and very high qualify sushi. Their wait staff was also wonderful. Saloman especially was such a pleasure and played with our toddler during dinners. Our boy loved him and would walk over to Hiroshi during the day looking for his new friend. Bocados was good, but sometimes our steak was overcooked a little. They always offered to re-do it, but given we were on the clock for our son's bedtime we couldn't wait for that.
A few small recommendations/areas for improvement:
* have plastic cups with lids and straws for kids at the restaurants. They looked at us with confusion when we asked for this, and ultimately settled on to-go coffee cups, but the lids always broke when you tried to fit the straw in.
* make it easier to make restaurant reservations before arrival. We tried to get ahold of concierge before we left, but never could, and therefore had some issues with the only available dinner times they had when we got there.
* The ipad ordering system the waiters have to use was rather slow and required lots of clicks (and therefore time) for them to place any orders. An update to this would save everyone time and annoyance.
Notes about Covid protocols:
When we arrived we were a bit surprised to hear no guests had to wear masks on property. All staff did at all times, but with no negative test or vaccination requirement for guests this caught us off guard. They checked our temperature on day 1 only. We are both vaccinated so it was not as problematic, but our son is not so a bit stressful at times when we were close to others indoor. Hiroshi asked us to use hand sanitizer before entering, but no other location required that.
Getting the antigen test to get back into the US was pretty easy (on location and included in cost of stay), though they did send us a negative result with another person's name at first so we had to get that corrected.
Overall we had a great stay and would recommend the resort to others.

My friend and I went at the beginning of the month. Upon arrival (which was early btw) we were greeted by a number of different staff and with a glass of wine and water which was amazing! Carlos, Alberta, Emiliana, and Carolina were amazing staff who greeted us every time they saw us and chit chatted with us while we were waiting for a ride. The resort is great with very lovely rooms and sooo many pools to choose from. The spa was also pretty amazing. We went for a couples massage and it was very relaxing that I feel asleep which is uncommon for me in a public space! Our room was not ready so they put us in a room while ours was prepared which was very accommodating because it gave us time to explore the resort. I highly recommend this place. The entire staff at the restaurants on site are very accommodating and care about the quality of the food you are being served. When we do come back, we will definitely be staying here again. Room service is great too. They set up the table and place settings for you which was very unexpected. There were staff other staff that played a major impact on our stay but unfortunately I waited too long to do the review and forgot but to everyone who assisted "Seniorita's Cosby" as you all called us thank you so much. Everyone wore masks and you could see them cleaning and sanitizing between people coming and going.

Exceptional views and an exceptional facility with a fantastic staff in a great location. This resort is located between Los Cabos and San Jose giving you the option each day to experience activities in either city. We enjoyed the low pressure and quaint shops in San Jose with very gracious shopkeepers. We enjoyed the marina and the food from all the waterfront restaurants in Los Cabos. This location gives you the opportunity to experience both cities and a world class resort.
We had the best romantic dinner for 2 and had wonderful views on the beach and enjoyed the resort and highly recommend it for others.
Jose Angel the butler was fantastic and super helpful. Brian Wyborn the Sales Manager was a great representative of the Tafer brand and did all he could to protect the customer. Mariana Mendoza the concierge did all she could to make sure we had an exceptional visit and took great care of us. The valet parking staff of Victor and Alberto took care of our every need and made sure they delivered the most exceptional services available and represented the resort in extraordinary fashion. Melanie at the front desk made check in effortless and went out of her way to assist with anything else. The entire staff is exceptional, and they made us feel welcome and safe.

Property was gorgeous and well kept, relatively new given that it was not occupied the past year due to COVID. Food was outstanding from the taco truck on the beach to the pool side offerings to the three main restaurants: an upscale Mexican restaurant, steakhouse and a Japanese restaurant. I would give both the property and food a 5. Where Garza Blanca quickly lost favor was with its service. We booked a three bedroom, penthouse suite which included a “concierge” attendant. Other than the initial welcome to get a nice tip, he was unresponsive and unseen for most of our 7 day stay. We had to call a couple of times to have the room serviced (fresh towels, removal of room service, etc). We also had to follow up multiple times to receive our rapid COVID test results which did not arrive more than 24 hours later. Lastly, and while it wasn’t the fault of the property, we had requested a credit or refund for the loss of our first night stay due to a flight cancellation. Rather than offering some symbolic refund/credit due to the fact that we didn’t use the room the first night, we were offered to stay over by one night. This would obviously had cost us more than the one night stay to change four airline tickets. My wife and I tipped very well during our six night stay from waiters to porters and cleaning staff and the service was mediocre at best given what we paid. I would return to the Garza Blanca properties as other guests have said the chain is top notch. This particular property struggled, which in part may have been due to COVID impacts on staffing and volume of guests. Alan (activities coordinator), Daniel (pool waiter), Dennis (Pool Waiter Manager) and Lucendo & Omar (STK Waiters) were exceptional.
That said we are still contesting the fact that the hotel has offered us no refund for what is essentially a $1400/night suite.

Recently stay at GB Los Cabos October 2-9 for our anniversary trip. We normally stay at Villa del Arco, which we love but wanted to try something different. We fell in love with Garza Blanca too. All of the staff we encountered were highly professional, courteous and efficient. We did opt for the all inclusive, although at first we were not sure it was worth the extra money. After we had our first dinner, and a days worth of poolside drinks, we quickly realized that it was totally worth it to us. The restaurants were amazing including the breakfast buffet. I am not a breakfast person, but when I saw the huge selection of fresh foods, I ended up eating and really enjoyed it. At dinner, we had a large selection of items that were included in our AI, including a 10 oz filet mignon! Desserts were awesome too. The poolside and restaurant drinks were great and we loved that we could request premium liquors without an additional cost. The live musicians that roamed the restaurants and poolside were a lovely touch. We did visit the spa for 80 minutes couples massages and they were heavenly. We did not stay for the hydrotherapy but I wish we had...next time! We loved both the rooftop adult pool and the lower pools. But, the lowest, main pool did get a little loud and obnoxious with guests at times. I am glad we only hung out there one afternoon. We loved that there was never a shortage of umbrellas or loungers at any of the 7 pools. Literally the minute you stop at a lounger, a staff member was there to set up your towels for you and ask if you wanted to order a beverage. Garza Blanca Los Cabos is top notch all the way. We are already planning our next visit.

My boyfriend and I stayed in a partial ocean-view suite and had an incredible experience. We stayed at the resort for 6 days, and elected not to purchase the all-inclusive package. We are 25/26 years old and wanted to experience both the resort and Cabo as a whole, so were interested in eating off property for most dinners.
The pools and the pool staff were absolutely wonderful. They were attentive, prompt, and so kind. We primarily only used the pool at the very front of the resort, the one closest to the beach with the swim-up bar. The pool was heated to perfection and made for very comfortable afternoon/early evening swims.
One comment about the resort, and the whole Cabo Corridor in general, is that swimming in the ocean is discouraged. We did not know this prior to booking, but the tides and wave breaks are very dangerous in that area. We would've liked to have gone in the ocean, but it did not really detract from our trip.
Also, Premium wifi is required if you are trying to work from the resort or stream any video content. This wifi is not free, it costs $17/day, and only applies to 4 devices. This is something to factor in to the price of your stay.
The pools and the pool staff were absolutely wonderful. They were attentive, prompt, and so kind. We primarily only used the pool at the very front of the resort, the one closest to the beach with the swim-up bar. The pool was heated to perfection and made for very comfortable afternoon/early evening swims.
One comment about the resort, and the whole Cabo Corridor in general, is that swimming in the ocean is discouraged. We did not know this prior to booking, but the tides and wave breaks are very dangerous in that area. We would've liked to have gone in the ocean, but it did not really detract from our trip.
Also, Premium wifi is required if you are trying to work from the resort or stream any video content. This wifi is not free, it costs $17/day, and only applies to 4 devices. This is something to factor in to the price of your stay.

You have to visit Garza Blanca!! Everyone is very nice and accommodating. Everyone genuinely wants you to have the best time! It was very clean and safe. All employees wore face masks and had hand sanitizer readily available. Naomi at Boca Dosstk makes a good Caesar salad table side. All the food was delicious. The chef Alonzo at Boca Dosstk made every meal a new experience and by far made the best steak I’ve ever had.

My family spent a week at the beautiful Cabo Garza Blanca. I would like to express how fabulous the service was from the moment we arrived. Given the COVID-19 situation we booked this location knowing that we would not be leaving the resort. I felt secure the entire stay, the staff were always in masks and hand sanitizer was offered to us all day long. We spent the bulk of your stay at the pool and could not have asked for better service. The pool staff made our vacation exceptional, Gerardo, Miguel, David, Maria and the many more who helped us were first class. They made our stay fun and relaxing. The restaurants that were open never disappointed and our rooms were impeccably clean and so comfortable at the end of the day. Can't wait for another visit.

We've been members since 2018 and had only visited the Puerto Vallarta resort. Husband's birthday so we decided to try another location with our friends. What an amazing experience! Prior to arriving we had all our accommodations and travel plans taken care of by Aislin (elite concierge team member). The resort and rooms are beautifully designed and reminds me of Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta. They have all the amenities of Puerta Vallarta and more. The three things I enjoyed about this location were the multiple pool lounging options, beach and everything being housed in one location. It was quite easy to maneuver around the property and staff was always very accommodating. We all felt very safe because of strictly enforced COVID-19 protocols such as the constant cleaning / sanitizing of shared spaces, mask wearing by staff and guests, and the ability to safely distance from other guests. The food / drinks are exceptional and there were a variety of activities offered for adults and children. Big shout out to our butlers Diana and Michelle. You were always at our disposal and your customer service was impeccable. You definitely made it hard to leave. Thank you again to all the wonderful staff, especially Aislin, Diana, and Michelle. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back soon.

I did not smoke on the balcony in my room. You can smoke on the beach but you must be away from the resort. I wanted a cigar while I was there but I didn’t get to enjoy one. I hope this helps.

We arrived around 5:00 PM and our all-inclusive covered dinner. However, you may want to call ahead and make reservations at one of the restaurants.
The door does block noise and light. My husband often gets up in the middle of the night and I don't hear a thing. I know that is not the same as during the day. There are blackout curtains also.
