My family cannot wait to return! This is a top-notch resort by all accounts, including attentive service, gorgeous property, amazing amenities, delicious food and overall wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived we felt immediately at home in this serene and tranquil resort. We were warmly greeted by the gracious staff and offered not 1, but 2 welcome drinks. Checkin was a breeze overlooking the beautiful ocean. Our children were thrilled to collect Montage Merit badges and were delightfully surprised by a toy train arriving full of ocean themed stuffed animals for their choosing. Shortly after we were whisked away via golf cart to select our ocean view room. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Highlights are the spa bathroom with outdoor shower and expansive balcony overlooking the Santa Maria Bay. Upon arrival, there were personalized embroidered pillows for each of our children on their bed. Fresh fruit was provided daily. All the thoughtful touches and anticipatory service far exceeded our expectations. Our personal butlers, Rene and Scarlet, ensured every wish was taken care of. They helped arrange all of our restaurant reservations, transportation and childcare with ease. Every time we needed them they somehow appeared out of nowhere with a warm smile. Daniella and the Paintbox kids club staff was exceptional. The kids had so much fun they never wanted to leave at pick up time. The kids made crafts daily like picture frames, painted pots and slime. We enjoyed beachfront dining and live music at Marea. Our favorites included the tuna ceviche, sea bass, steak tacos, oysters with habanero mignonette and rotisserie chicken gyro. Coffee, pastries and gelato at Paletas was a treat. The family pool was huge it felt like we had the whole pool to ourselves. We typically arrived after lunch and never had an issue with getting front row seats. The staff brought complimentary popsicles and smoothies by daily. The adult infinity edge pool overlooking the bay was a dream. The vibe was incredibly chill and the music was very relaxing. The spa was divine. I enjoyed my couples massage so much that I booked another massage on my last day. Both Sandra and Esperanza provided incredible massages. Overall, wonderful experience! We are looking forward to our return!

We came back! With everything going on we decided this was the place where we can enjoy and relax without even leaving the property. We called ahead of time to understand the protocols at the resort and we felt safe the entire time. Airpoirts we half way empty. We stayed on a 2 bedroom beachfront suite, it comes with 2 1/2 bahtrooms, a full living room and a huge terrace, we were right next to the entrance to the public beach but it wasn't too noisy. All their dinning is outside, beach beds are spread out to social distance, mask upon arrival including lots of indidual wipes and personal hand sanitizer. Lots of social distance at the gym, every time we went ( super early) no one was there, just me and my husband. We ate every meal at Mezcal, Marea, our terrace or the Thai food truck. We did an outdoor couple’s massage at the SPA, it was heaven. We played Golf at Twin Dolphins just across from the resort- fee comes with food, drinks, snacks- with amazing views! Also, this was our young daughter birthday and Rene did an amazing Job surprising us all by taking care of her by throwing her a birthday party, with Piñata, Cake, Cookies, candy bags, streamers, she was over the MOON!. She was so happy since we couldn’t do much back home. As always, it was a pleasure to be greeted by Rene, Mario, Marcela and the guys at the pool always attentive. I love how they take customer feedback( my old feedback), service by the pool was EXCELLENT: Raul, Angel, Jesus, Cristo, Moises & the restaurant manager Diego, all very attentive. Michelle by the beach services, getting my paddleboard everyday and the snorkel gear for my family, she was so nice. Daniela the babysitter she was amazing for our daughter. The highlight of our trip was the 4th of July Celebration, a full array of meals, drinks, dessert stations, bbq station, seafood station, USA decorations, s’mores and finally fireworks…twice!!! Public beach was closed usually at 6pm and they make locals leave. I heard a house guest ( perhaps a celeb) paid a second round of fireworks and it was unbelievable!!! Oh my.. this vacation was so much needed and Montage delivered!

I have to say I was totally blown away by Montage Cabo.The physical beauty is very apparent as is the attention to detail. The detail and attention to the landscaping was was very apparent, it was beautiful. Our first dinning experience was at Marena the pool /beach side restaurant bar. Our server was Eduardo, and we would enjoy his service often through the stay not only at Marea but at Talay their Thai eatery. He always went the extra mile to accommodate us, my companion with her restrictive dietary needs and myself with my need for heat (hot salsas). Server Javier was also quite helpful on our last Dinner on property which was an amazing Waygu Rib eye. Before I forget the was excellent at all the restaurants. The main restaurant Mezcal took Mexican cuisine to new levels culinary creativity. I had the 5 course tasting dinner which feature locally sourced ingredients, many from famous markets in the region. Being a bar person we ate at the bar and had the pleasure of be welcomed, served and educated by their amazing and talented bar staff featuring Oscar, Sergio and Hever. Anyone of them could raise a bars cocktail service to the next level, but all three in one bar means you have a cocktail experience hard to match. The assistant manager Luc was very gracious and welcoming. Guess services made you feel like you had your on butler or major domo. Julio and Luaro made sure we never wanted for anything, they just appeared as if by magic when ever we had a question or need. The concierge Paulina was blessing suggesting San Jose over San Luca, we did both, but she was right with her choice. BTW we fond an excellent little restaurant in San Jose called Yumana Kitchen, had the best Octopus taco I've ever had. The Spa is incredible. As a guest you have full use of it's facilities which includes a beautiful pool, huge hot tub inside with a cool plunge pool, steam room and everything a world class Spa would offer. Alan and Jorge were of great assistance in guiding us through all the amenities of the Spa. The maid service to our room was also 5 star, every day fresh fruit and little gift along with other small things like coiling our phone chargers so they weren't strung all over the place and just keeping the room spotless. Wait till you see the bathroom. Two showers, one indoors, one open air, and a very large bath tub. So as you can tell I really enjoyed my stay there and hope to visit again soon. As another reviewer state as beautiful as it is, it's all about the people.
