Where should I start? We stayed in this awesome resort in May, 2022. I have been telling people how beautiful the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal is. Prices of the food are decent. The view and the service are 6 stars! Highly recommended! My husband and I travel a lot, this place would one of the best we have stayed!
It speaks for itself when you’ve visited the Waldorf twice, but this next time you bring your best friends. Everything from welcoming us with fresh margaritas, to filling the room with rose peddles – this resort truly makes every experience magical. We felt part of the Waldorf family as soon as we entered the property. Waldorf treats you with care and importance - the best service experiences we've ever had in Cabo. Christian – you did an amazing job helping us with our reservations. The rooms, location, and communication from you and the reservation team was amazing. You were able to accommodate us in 2 beautiful suites that we could have only dreamed about. As soon as we arrived, our rooms were ready, the staff was ready, and every member of the Waldorf team was excited for our arrival. Ferando and team – every time we entered or left the property, you and the team were there to welcome and assist us with anything. From golf cart rides back to the room, water, or just to ask if we needed anything - 5 star service every day. Rosa – you were our personal concierge on our first visit. Every visit since, you’re still ready to help 😊. It’s always great to know you’re still on property and ready to assist anytime. Rey - our personal concierge this trip. You assisted with any reservation, any request, and any assistance we needed. Thank you for being so accommodating. We have been to many Waldorf properties, but this property sets bar for all others. I have never seen such a level of hospitality, accommodations, and the level of service. If you’re looking for where to stay – this is destination you need to visit in your lifetime. This resort is everything you can imagine.…
My wife and I had the amazing fortune to visit Third time in two years. We have the ability to travel all over the world and rarely do we go to the same hotel more n once a year. But WA of Cabo makes us want to go back as often as we can. With every visit we get the opportunity to get to know the resort and staff even better. At this point, I feel rude to call them “staff.” They are friends. Any effort to show kindness is returned in three folds. Our first visit was during covid lock down time and the resort was practically empty but still grand. There were a few more people on our second visit, but by our third visit, the resort was fully booked out most nights. However, it never felt crowded or service diminished. In fact, the resort had more vibrant feel to it, which was still very nice. A celebratory energy, rather than a party vibe. Speaking of which, this is not the resort to go for DJs by the pool and party around the pool bar. I recommend the The Cape hotel for something like that. I wondered after our first visit what it would be like when the resort is back to full capacity and glad to report back that this place is all about being chill and relaxed. There’s nothing more I can add about the rooms and facilities. It’s all classy luxury and nothing has changed about that. The housekeeping was the some of the best I ever experienced. Never intrusive but absolutely meticulous. The major changes I’ve noticed from our previous visits have been in the restaurants. They have added more experiences than we saw before. Don Manuels is a great place to start and end your day if you want to take it easy. There was an amazing looking Taco Tasting experience we didn’t get to try that was new. The Cafe in the lobby looked like a great option if you wanted something quick for breakfast. They had some pastries, like the cronut, that wasn’t available in the restaurants. Of course no experience at the WA is complete without El Farallon. A standout of Cabo. I had the privilege to meet and interact with El Farallon Chef Mimi during a BBQ event at the WA. And speaking as a certified BBQ judge, she made some of the most outstanding brisket I had outside of Texas. If you happen to visit during the time when they are having BBQ dinners, do yourselves a favor and go. And when I saw her for dinner at El Farallon, she made a trio of chocolate clams that was so thought out and memorable. For all three of our visits, Ms Ronco was so amazing with help with any questions or issues we had. She was so thoughtful and considerate making sure we had the best room possible. Our trips would not have been as memorable had she not guided us through the process. If you go to Don Manuel for breakfast, try your best to sit in Gao or Arturo’s section. They were absolutely the best way to start the day with their gracious hospitality. And if you go to Don Manuels in the evenings for dinner, consider yourself lucky to be able to meet the host Cindy. We met her as a breakfast host during our last visits and worried that she was gone until we saw her at dinner. She is such a spark of light at the WA. We are truly so happy to see her every time and can’t wait to see her again. Also at dinner at Don Manuel is the all around awesome guy Salgado. We originally met him at El Farallon previously, and was the highlight of this trip. An absolute professional and great conversationalist. Salgado is so amazing that we would switch hotels or restaurants if he went somewhere else. I thank you and can’t wait to see you all again.…
We booked our trip with our free weekend anywhere nights courtesy of our Hilton Aspire card about a month in advance. Dana and the rest of the concierge team were great about getting us set up for spa appointments, yacht reservations, etc. Dana greeted us with a delicious margarita while our bags were being unloaded from the shuttle. Then the team checked us in and walked us to the room to make sure that everything was explained and we knew what to expect and how to make the most out of the visit. In the room there was a complimentary bottle of tequila, a beach/book bag, and cosmetic pouch with the WA emblem. The fridge is stocked with complimentary juices, sodas and waters every day and ice bucket is refilled twice a day. Also in the room are a nespresso unit, bluetooth speakers, a gas stone fireplace and of course the amazing plunge pool! We did spa treatments our first morning and the team there was absolutely lovely. Dinner at El Farallon was beautiful although the food was just fine not amazing. Food at the main infinity pool swim up bar was amazing- we had the shrimp tacos, tuna tartare and of course bountiful drinks. Something I loved about this property was that there were always plenty of beach chairs available right next to the pool no matter what time of day it was. And between each guest, the staff would change the terrycloth "sheet" on the beach chairs so that you were always laying on a clean surface. Service around the pools was impeccable and you never had to wait for a drink. Breakfast every morning at Don Manuels was also top notch. The first day we were in a hurry so we just had the "free" continental breakfast which is still plenty of food, but the 2nd day we upgraded for $10 to the hot made to order buffet (so good!) Also we went through WA to book a private yacht for snorkeling and would highly recommend that add on vs doing one of the group tours through a random company. When we left we were given a box of cookies for the road. My husband said it best "it just felt like home." We absolutely will be back. Highly recommend. …
This was our first time to Cabo and to the Waldorf. We have typically hit Cancun and the Caribbean, and the first comparison is the weather. Cabo weather was way more enjoyable than the Yucatan area. Regarding the Waldorf, it exceeded our expectations. Our favorite place in Rivera Maya is the Rosewood Mayakoba, and the Waldorf operates similar but then exceeds. The people make the difference. As with many of our vacations to Mexico, the people and service are why we continue to visit. Some examples…Jobney @ agave study – he was extremely knowledgeable. Made us feel like we got our money's worth in the “once in a lifetime” tequila tasting not just through what tequila we tried but also via his knowledge. We went back to Jobney at night to pick his brain more on mezcal which we learned is way more complex and diverse than we thought. Gabriel @ Crudo - his attention to his craft (mixology) was spot on. When we visit Mexico, we look forward to the cuisine and drinking new tequilas and mezcals. We enjoyed talking to him and working on new drink ideas. He is a great asset to the Waldorf team. When you are there next, ask Gabriel about a few off the menu drinks (the Gabriel, the Noack, or Dia Libre) We spent most of our day at the swim up pool or at our own plunge pool in the room. We highly suggest getting a room up top for privacy. Some of the rooms on the first floor do not have much privacy. Build 3; Floor 4 is a good building to get a view of the sunrise and some of the sunset. Note: Given the mountains and cliffs, you do not see the sunset/sunrise from the horizon. We ate at the El Farallon (dinner), Don Manuel’s (breakfast and dinner), and off site at Los Tres Gallos and El Huerto Farm to Table. The food onsite did not disappoint; but I will say be careful with the portions. Our dinners typically went about 2 hours long; and there is a lot of food. Looking back at it we could have shared entrees more. During breakfast we typically just split a main course given the fruit and bread they bring out as well. May I suggest to not visit El Farallon on your travel day just because it can be a long dinner (we were a little wiped out). Additionally, we did the salsa cooking class and TRAVESÍA at Su Cocina. The salsa class is hands on, and you are involved in cutting up, cooking, and grinding (in a molcajete) ingredients for the salsa. Also, you get to the take the left-over salsa with you back to the room. Travesia is a 9-course meal based on a variety of tacos that also included unique cocktails before each dish as well. We recommend both culinary experiences. While you may spend more money at the Waldorf Cabo that other places in Mexico, you will come away feeling this was money well spent.…

As a family of 4(two girls ages 5 and 10) We just returned from WA Pedregal for a 2 night stay. Right before WA, we stayed at the JW Marriot then The Cape Thompson. The first two were great but nothing I'd write a review about. They are very typical of any mid to higher end Marriot or Hyatt properties in terms of service. But the WA Pedregal is the first time I've experienced such impeccable service. We arrived at just past 3pm which is the standard check-in time, they informed us the room was not ready yet which happens more often than not so we thought, okay, we'll wait, no big deal. Then they told us we can have lunch on the house at the the Don Manuel restaurant. Their main on-site restaurant. We were also upgraded to a 3 bedroom villa and this was the high light of our stay! We had dinner at the El Farallon and it was amazing, perhaps the settings and the natural surroundings brought the whole experience to another level. We asked if we can get a grill brought into our villa so we can grill out one night and said no problem! The staff probably go thru a vigorous training as every staff member provided the exact same level of attentive service that I've not seen elsewhere! Put it his way, this is the first time I'm giving a review after years of TA usage. We'll definitely plan for another here and hopefully it won't be long!…
Our first family vacation after two years... Waldorf Astoria El Pedregal didn't disappoint. The obvious is that the property is spectacular!! Amazing views, top of the line rooms, restaurants, pools, etc..etc. What really captivated us was the team, the caring service, and attention to detail will keep me coming back to this beautiful place. A special thank you to Iran at the pools.
our stay here from beginning to end was phenomenal! the entire staff including Salvador was super accommodating from food, room, and pool service. highly recommend getting dinner by the cliff, the clams and seabass are a must!
Although it is located in the most central area of Los Cabos, it is completely separated by natural conditions, so you can enjoy quiet and comfort. The staff is very good as a top-notch hotel, and the walk along the beach is very nice. The breakfast is well prepared and the rooms are spacious and clean. The beer and guacamole served daily, which keeps the mini bar refilled, are delicious. They also give you tequila as a souvenir. This is the best luxury hotel in Los Cabos.
