its a friendly place close by A3 highway rooms are just like you expect from a 3star hotel all is ok. kitchen as well Ok. they are pet friendly and close by the hotel there is an area for walking the dogs the revent times when i called for a room it was always fully booked. it is a shame that wifi costs like 5-10. eur for 1 day.
It is a nice and cozy family hotel, very easy to find. It seems to be the biggest building on the quite Market Square of small Schwarzach, except the brewery building opposite. We stayed for one night and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, welcoming hosts, family restaurant with delicious food, plenty of free parking space in front of the hotel, good hearty buffet breakfast, nice reading corner in the hall with the bookshelf and tea making facilities. Free WiFi works good. The lift in the building exists and works properly. And the price is attractive.
It is a hotel in a small village with a big advantage of being very close to highway. Typical small hotel, quite large rooms, and a good breakfast. Stuff is friendly, and neighborhood is very peaceful. There is (free) parking in front of the hotel, and a very nice terrace restaurant. There is no (free) Wi-Fi. Internet is available at rather high rate provided by some local provider, and in these days I consider that a miss. There is no lift in the hotel, so baggage must be carried up the stairs. Shower is divided from room by sliding doors, which means there is no real sound and physical isolation. Overall, for a one night stay - go for it. Pricing is fair, so the bad sides should not be to important.
Was there for a New Year Eve Wedding which took place across the street, unfortunately it is the only place in town. It is a basic 3 star hotel with no amenities, wi-fi costs. Room was very compact & very dry! Only one key per room is available, major inconvenience! After 10pm, the hotel is closed and you must use the side entrance to access the rooms, inconvenience especially with only one key. Breakfast was a very basic buffet. Staff was unfriendly especially the main contact man.
We arrived at this little hotel after a long journey driving from north east Hungary and a welcome site it was. The hotel is situated in a little square in the the town/village of Schwarzach it is a very peaceful and restful area. There was plenty parking around the square and with a few steps of the hotel. We were greeted I assume by the owner and his wife who presented as a friendly couple with good advice for the stay. Our room was a pleasant spacious room with the usual accessories found in many hotels. The shower was one suited to the slimmer type of person and thankfully we fitted that description. After settling our luggage we went downstairs for a drink and went into a lovely outdoor terrace facing the square we enjoyed a lovely relaxed afternoon watching what life there was passing by. The hotel has a restaurant and is also neighboured by an Italian one across the road. We chose to stay in the hotel for our evening meal and it was a delicious home cooked meal any good food restaurant would be proud of. We had the meal on the same terrace and felt relaxed and well comforted by the experience. The staff could not have been more attentive or helpful when serving us which make one feel a bit special when staying over. I have read in previous reviews that there is no lift in the hotel there is in fact a lift, not in the main foyer but through another door which could be better signed. The breakfast the following morning was a buffet style and there was a large selection of food to choose from again well served by the owner and his wife. We enjoyed our stay in this charming little hotel and would have no hesitation in going back there or recommending it to anyone wishing to go there.…
