I've stayed at Inn at the Pier three times now and it is my home away from home on Prince Edward Island. My recent stay was in a two-bed room. The room was super clean, the bed was great, there are HD channels, and very quiet. Amenities include good breakfast in the morning, laundry service, a nice salt water pool and hot tub, recreation on-site (jet ski rentals, kayaks, etc) and beautiful views on New London bay. The staff there are all wonderful and feel like family. I hope to be back soon.

We stayed here for 4 nights during our travels to PEI and were comfortable but found this accommodation to be somewhat impersonal and big and more like a hotel stay. We prefer staying in B&B's to have a more personal experience and I clearly didn't do enough research when I booked this place and was confused by the term "Inn". Nevertheless, as I have already said, our stay was comfortable and adequate. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful on arrival. Our room was clean, bright, spacious and comfortable outside of the noise we heard from the parking lot and from the room above us. Breakfast was adequate but minimal and primarily continental in nature. The only difference being you are given a choice in how you would like your eggs made - but even this was very basic in that there weren't any cold additives provided in the continental area (like cheese, salsa, crumbled bacon, or onions) that you could add yourself to spruce up your eggs after they were cooked for you. The location of this hotel is centrally located to the whole island and is very conducive to making day trips in any direction.

We initially booked a standard room but I was concerned it may not have a mini fridge or microwave. My husband called and this was confirmed so we upgraded to a junior suite. It was very nice and comfortable, and we had a small deck overlooking the water and pier. I was disappointed we did not have a microwave to warm leftovers but at least the fridge was available. (These folks are so nice, though, you could probably ask to use the microwave in the breakfast room and they'd say yes.) It was very nice to have a bar and grille on site though it's more of a beer and wine establishment. Food is very good - we had 3 appetizers one night and we were very satisfied. Stanley Bridge is a great spot - the National Park, Green Gables site and family friendly amusements are about a mile up the road in Cavendish. Charlottetown is about 45 minutes south, and heading east or west will bring you to some lovely and picturesque vistas. Great stay.

We stayed for three nights here on our Atlantic road trip. Staff was so welcoming on arrival. Offered to carry our bags up to the room. Very nice room. Dining room staff also very friendly and very accommodating of food allergy. We asked to do some Laundry on our second day and they gave us access to the laundry room. Very helpful, great location, just outside of the tourist area of Cavendish. We would definitely stay there again.

Mu husband and I stayed a few weeks ago and found this location to be perfect. Able to day trip and do coastal drives easily from this location. Charming and quaint Inn. Beds very comfortable and quiet at night for great night sleep. So convenient having the restaurant within the Inn. Great food and drinks on the outside patio and enjoyed watching the sunsets every night. What really made this stay fabulous was the kindness of the staff. Enjoyed chatting with Anne whom every morning asked about my prior days adventure on the island and encouraged my husband to take that extra cinnamon bun. Donna kept our rooms clean and well stocked! And Gail was just a gem at the front desk whom I feel I have known for years. My experience at Inn at the Pier has left a lasting wonderful impression!!
