Staff were VERY friendly and accommodating. Wifi didnt work, and we had no cell signal at all, however it was fairly good, and the meal at the restaurant was tasty and very reasonably priced. Much better pace than mountainview motel, and the room didn't smell musty. We had our own private deck and satellite TV.

We stayed here for one night on a tour of the Cabot Trail. The MidTrail was a step above most motels we have stayed at. The rooms were spacious and clean. Each room has its own deck with incredible views; we really appreciated being able to spend time out there. An added bonus was a meteor shower that happened the... More

I absolutely LOVED MidTrail Motel & Inn. The location was perfect. The views were perfect. The rooms were perfect. The staff were perfect!! The only negative thing I can really say about this place is that I wish we spent a couple of days there instead of one night. If you are looking for good ol' down home friendly east... More

This motel is located literally "mid trail"! Location and views are just fantastic. Rates are very fair. Rooms are clean with fresh towels etc. AC also in each room, not that we used it, as the air is fresh 😄 We didn't try the on site restaurant as we ate at the Rusty Anchor. Staff were very friendly. Take a... More

The midtrail motel from first sight looked a little bit rough around the edges. However upon entering the room it was very clean, and quite homey. And as you got used to the area you realize that perhaps you first impression was wrong. The grounds of the motel were a beautiful sight to wake up to however the lack of... More

Stayed here as a group with the Red Knights NB1 motorcycle club. We had great experience here. Clean rooms with great food. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We will be making regular yearly booking here on our annual trip.

Great location for hiking and whale watching. I perfect location to go and watch the sunset or the stars if the sky is clear. It was clean and reasonably prices. We were surprised to find good satellite tv, which was a treat for the kids after a long drive. We had a wonderful stay!

We stayed at this motel because it came recommended to us. Our friends recommended the location and said this place was OK (there's no much else around). We couldn't believe how beautiful the location was when we pulled up. What a beautiful part of the world. The motel is OK -- very basic. We had an upstairs room (very large)... More

We headed east for our vacation and this was the worst of all of the places we stayed. Honestly, this place was a dump. Pubic hair in the bathroom, smelled of mold and generally was unkept. The worst was a cleaning staff member that reamed my wife out because we were a few moments late on checkout (teenage daughters that... More

We were a little nervous about the quality of the rooms due to the terrible color choices of the entire outside of the facility. But my room was clean and newly renovated. I didn't need the AC, but could see how it might bother someone who would be in the bed under it. The view was beautiful, the area so... More
