I spend only a day at this location but it was enough to be charmed by it's ambiance. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. The place is well positioned, away from the noisy roads, in the middle of the village so you can enjoy the beauty of a nice, quiet place. We had a large room with cosy terrace. The decorations and the furniture were an inspired choice. Pleasant breakfast. The museum was also quite interesting. And from here you can start your visits to several monasteries, to the citadel, etc. Or you can sit on the bank of a river nearby and just look in silence at the sky...
We stayed in the big room with terrace. The decorations of the room are pretty nice and beds are one of the most comfortable I have ever experienced. We felt great as this place is what we were looking for - a traditional stay. The rooms are located right next to the museum and the host was so kind to offer us a guided tour before we left. Only thing that can be improved is the shower pressure but we expected some minuses as it is in rural area. The guest is very educated and friendly - he will try to give you advice for what to visit what is great (especially for foreigners).
The landlord is an old teacher : very please to talk with, housse Is wonderful cottage in the countryland full of arts, statues, paintings... breakfast and dinner are same quality of top restaurant . An adress you cant miss
This place is unique by its location (village) , history and tradition; we stayed one night, 2 adults, 2 teens in 2 rooms, beautifully decorated and clean; breakfast was generously offered in a nice setting; friendly people; fresh air, quiet, beautiful landscape
If you have the opportunity to stay here you must! It is beautiful with an interesting museum. Super nice people. The dinner we got at the bed & breakfast was the best food on our trip in Romania! Home cooked three course meal with locally produced wine! I am so happy for this exeperience.
