Stayed here for three nights with my girlfriend in Bungalow number 2 - off the bat I'm going to say that the river view is obstructed by two further bungalows in front - although this has not affected my rating. Room is a fair size for 80k Kip, has an en suite bathroom and hot water is available. Towels are...

Sengdao is comprised of bungalows. I stayed in number 10 and have no complaints about it whatsoever. Reasonable price and clean. The little porch could do with a hammock chair though. Just sitting outside and chilling could profit greatly from that. Wi-Fi was available at the desk/restaurant but you had to find the sweet spot for bandwidth. The Lao home...

We stayed for two nights on our way to Muang Ngoi and one on our way back. We chose the solid wall bungalow the first time because the weather was very cold and wet. It cost 20,000 kip and is strangely grand but the shiny floor tiles are lethal in the bathroom!. On our return the weather was warm and...

As staying close to the bridge can be noisy we asked for a small bungalow at the end of the garden. The room was clean, basic but comfortable enough, though the bathroom was a bit smelly due to some bad drainage? It had a little garden around - a terrace with a nice view and for the price we were...

NE side of bridge. Thatched bungalows with own bathroom, clean, a western toilet but the hot water system didn't seem to heat. Comes with towels, toilet paper, fan (ample for current weather, I didn't even use it), a comfy bed with mosquito net, lockable cupboard, balcony. Saggy curtains. Plastic chair on balcony, I can see great value in having a...

Came to nong khiaw and stayed here for 2 nights, 50.000 kip per night in a bungalow right at the river. The bungalow was basic but clean, with attached bathroom and porch. The owners are really friendly, they do laundry (15.000 kip per kg) and the restaurant has good food for reasonable prices. The only thing I would recommend if...

We stayed here for a few nights. It is beautifully situated and the rooms are clean, staff is nice, but....our room smelled so badly of human feces every time we (or anyone else) flushed the toilet. We couldn't escape the smell and eventually we moved.

Sengdao bungalows are located on the west side, which had an appeal to us as we did not want to stay in the middle of all other tourists on the east side. There are couple rows of the bungalows, first row faces the river, but the views are obstructed by the trees and shrubs in the garden. There is one...
