A magical boutique hotel, the place: spectacular; Each room is uniquely decorated and offers you a different experience.

The beds, sheets and pillows are of top quality, and allow you to have the richest rest.

We have breakfast there every day, they have delicious granola, Adriana cooks for you at the moment which makes you feel at home.

They have a divine terrace, where you can exercise in the morning, have tea, watch the sunset, and have a little wine...the super view of the churches of San Miguel.

Tomas, is the person who assists you, accompanies you and strives to make your stay pleasant, everyone always pampers you (Because that is the word) and helps you with whatever you need with a smile.

Jorge, the manager, an attentive professional who motivates his team.

This is without a doubt the best OPTION to enjoy San Miguel de Allende, in a luxury boutique hotel in all experiences.

The location is quiet and they locked the doors at night to the building making you feel extra safe. Beautiful views of city as well. Amaro (house assistant) does not speak English but always has a friendly smile and eager to help you with whatever you need. I also loved the feel of the unique setups in each room. Light (and delicious) breakfast was included with my stay and served on the terrace.

Beautiful tranquil surroundings for a relaxing stay close to all the action downtown. The free continental breakfast that was included consisted of fresh fruit, yoghurt, granola, freshly toasted bolillo bread and butter with jelly. You can take it on the second floor patio, or down in the courtyard surrounded by the calming sounds of the water splashing in the lovely cantera fountain.
Amazing views from the rooftop area with plenty of seating areas.
Each room has a romantic name: Bugambilia, Serenata (Serenade), Deseo ( Desire ). The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a combination of refurbished and restored antiques and modern touches, although the bed was a bit too soft for me.
A word to the wise: you need to be at least moderately fit to stay here. There are no elevators and it is located on a very steep hill.

Once you enter the property, you might think you have been transported to another lifetime.
Our host, Jorge, is accommodating, knowledgeable, and responsive to guests' needs and requests, as is Amaro, Jorge's trusted assistant. When Jorge is off, which we experienced, no one can help you. Language barrier or not.
We thought our rug required cleaning, and the day we arrived, the floor in the bathroom needed attention.
The location is excellent in that it is not in the fray and, therefore, less noisy than Centro as long as the neighbor dogs are not incessantly barking at every sound that only they can hear. Bring earplugs.
Realizing this is a mixed bag of a review of this establishment; we cannot say you should avoid booking a night or two as it had a feel of authenticity not attainable at other, more exclusive options.

A beautiful little boutique hotel. It feels extremely cozy. Two things you need to know, it is on a hill, so walking down to the center of San Miguel is very easy, but walking up is not so easy, the best thing would be to take a taxi, which will charge between 60 and 80 Mexican pesos. The included breakfast is something very simple, some fruits with granola and yogurt, juice or coffee and that's it, if you want eggs, it has an additional cost.

An absolutely amazing experience from both an accommodations and staff experience standpoint. Jorge and Omero (hopefully that is the right spelling!) were very helpful and so happy to accommodate any requests. The hotel itself is beautiful and there was a little convenience store less than 50-yards from the entrance where you could buy large water bottles. The breakfast was delicious (yogurt, granola, large bowl of fruit and two pastries) and eggs + protein could be added for like $10 USD. I would (and will) absolutely stay here again when I come back!

Room was clean and comfortable. Courtyard was beautiful and serene, also a great place for our group of 6 to sit and drink wine and plan our next day's adventure. Front desk manager, Jorge, was very helpful in securing our transportation from and back to the airport as well as calling taxi's for us. He was very attentive to our needs for exta bottled water and towels. He spoke very good English and gave us great walking directions from the hotel. Breakfast was served on a lovely terrace on the second floor; it was just right to start the day with yogurt and granola, large bowel of cut fresh fruit, pastry , milk, fruit juices, coffee or tea.

Mansion San Miguel was a perfect stay for our visit to San Miguel de Allende. With only 8 rooms it felt super personal and quaint, but the service levels were as fine as any larger hotel. We left our trip planning to Jorge and he did an amazing job giving us a perfect vacation. His team is also tremendous.

We loved our visit!

This small, quaint hotel gives you a true feel of traditional Mexico. This charming hotel has only 8 rooms so it is quiet and certainly not crowded. It is spotlessly clean! Jorge, Tomas, and the entire staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every request, from arranging airport transfers, local taxis, and even booking a masseuse to do a massage on site. My masseuse, Rosalia, was excellent, and it was wonderful to be able to just relax in my room afterwards instead of traveling from a spa back to the hotel. It was also nice to be able to use the refrigerator and microwave in the kitchen! The continental breakfast was just enough to start the day. My stay at this hotel was outstanding and I highly recommend it!

We spent four nights here, and it's located in a beautiful and peaceful little street not far from the Centro or Parque Benito Juarez. The rooms and bathrooms are unique and spacious. All the staff are so friendly and accommodating, and we loved spending our evenings in the rooftop jacuzzi overlooking San Miguel. It's a small hotel so we rarely encountered other guests and truly felt like we had our private home (with an open kitchen and free flowing coffee/tea). It feels gorgeous and luxurious, especially for the price.

There were only a few critiques. First, the Bouganvillea room faces immediately out on a streetlight that makes it bright at night, despite the curtains. Second, the pillows were too soft and not supportive. Finally, I wish there had been body lotion in the room, so make sure to bring your own!
