I rely on tripadvisor for accomedations in places I have not yet been too. Often, I arrive, and am disappointed in ways that I lhave come to accept, because the places are remote, in econmically challanged areas, or less traveled by 1st world nations. My logic is that it is unfair to apply 5 star world class standards in such situations. I only stayed one night here but wished for more. I stayed 8 nights in Guanajuato and this was the best of the accomidations. Everything promised, and then some. The furnature and room was newly, but regionally decorated. I believe this is as close to Hilton accomidations that you can find in San Miguel, while retaining its historic ambience. It was very italian villa kind of accomidations. It seems like it would be good for families with mom's that do not like to rough it. Only 2 things. 1) It's location is 6 minutes walk from the city center. This is good to keep down the noice, but walking back (up hill) might be a concern for some. 2) This small property of 10?? rooms is often at full capacity reserve early, and be aware you may have to tolerate family oriented noise. Also... on booking, the hotel pre-emptively asked to arrange for transportation to the airport. I was not concerned with my transportation at that time, but agreed. When I finally asked the price in text communications leading to my stay, the price was high for me. No one's fault, I am one person and do not need a catallac suburban with a bonded driver to feel comfortable. Uber is fine.

Room Tip: Higher floors are closer to the view, and hot tube maybe. Further from the noise?

Wonderful bouquet Hotel! Small but so so charming. The roof view incredible with a courtyard that just makes one feel so relaxed. The staff is always there for you at any time day or night and always ready to help. Hidden on a corner up the hill but a close walk to the park and the center of town. Sun coming up or going down great view and even a great place to nap on the roof any time of the day. Once there you really don’t want to leave.

Wonderful accommodations in a great location. George, Tomas and Adrianna were attentive to our every request. So many comfortable areas to relax and upper terrace provided amazing views of the city. Would not hesitate staying here again in the future.

Room was clean and comfortable. Courtyard was beautiful and serene, also a great place for our group of 6 to sit and drink wine and plan our next day's adventure. Front desk manager, Jorge, was very helpful in securing our transportation from and back to the airport as well as calling taxi's for us. He was very attentive to our needs for exta bottled water and towels. He spoke very good English and gave us great walking directions from the hotel. Breakfast was served on a lovely terrace on the second floor; it was just right to start the day with yogurt and granola, large bowel of cut fresh fruit, pastry , milk, fruit juices, coffee or tea.

Beautiful, quaint hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The walk up from town was very steep, but it was nice to get the exercise and the roof top view was beautiful. The free breakfast was just some pastries and coffee, so we didn't end up eating breakfast there. The roof top bar wasn't open, which was disappointing, and we went in the hot tub once. It was really relaxing, but we were a little worried about the cleanliness (the water was hazy). The staff was very friendly and our room was really comfortable!

We loved our stay. We are a family of 4, kids aged 18 and 14. The staff was wonderful. The roof deck was very comfortable and had an amazing view. We used the jacuzzi and loved it. The breakfasts are simple (yogurt, granola, mixed fruit, pastry) but very well done and a nice way to start the day. It’s in a neat part of town near 3 good small restaurants and away from the Disney town center. The staff are fantastic and really care about their guests. The rooms aren’t overly fancy and everything isn’t top top line but that’s just perfect for us. We could have just hung out all day. Be sure to watch the sunset. Thanks for a great stay.
