This little oasis off the beaten track is worth the Uber ride into the city. It’s set back from the busy location of San Miguel de Allende. Yes you need to arrange a ride into town but the quietness is so worth it. The hotel is lovely with little spots to hang out away from prying eyes. It has a nice small pool that is great for that afternoon dip. The restaurant serves a nice meal, and breakfast is included with your stay. The hotel has several nice play lists for music. The outside bar is open to serve where ever you are on the hotel grounds. The outside grounds are filled with beautiful flowers to take the perfect picture. The Spa offers very nice services in a nicely lit room. It was a stay we would do again.
We live full time in SMA and, like most, have cancelled all travel and sticking close to home. For my wife’s birthday we decided to do an overnight to the View Hotel. Being a small boutique hotel we felt our exposure would be limited. What a great experience! The staff were all wearing masks and observing safe protocol. We were the only 2 guests that day and they had everything available for us. We enjoyed the pool area, the outdoor seating and unbelievably beautiful views, a movie in their cinema and both dinner and breakfast in their restaurant and bar. It was nice to enjoy a change of scenery even if we were only 6 miles from home. It felt like we discovered a hidden gem.
Very nice and calm hotel. The view is nice and the rooms are comfortable and cozy. All the staff is very gentle and friendly; even if some of them speak only Spanish they do their best to accommodate you. This location is perfect if you want to have a break and relax few days enjoying San Miguel d’Allende in the evening or during the day. Calculate that it takes about 15-20min taxi/Uber for getting to SMA.
Best Hotel outside of SMA, Very nice staff, great property, nice rooms and atmosphere. Just a few minutes outside of SMA, very romantic place. Great terraces and hot tub, fire pit, restaurant, cinema...

This hotel is beautifully situated up on the hill side, just outside San Miguel de Allende and provides an ideal location to simply unwind for a few days, or a great base to go exploring in San Miguel or to visit the local attractions - it's a 15 minute taxi ride to town, or 20 minutes on the local bus which passes by on a regular basis. The staff and owners are so kind and helpful. Nothing seems like too much trouble, and you really feel at home here. Their knowledge of things to do, where to go, good restaurants etc is superb and invaluable. We can't comment on lunch or dinner, because we never tried it, but the breakfast was lovely, and a great way to start the day. The room we had was lovely. Plenty of space, and very quaint with the most comfortable bed I think I've ever slept in. The view, as the name of the hotel suggests, is what really steals the show. It's so beautiful, quiet, calming. Sitting in your little private porch, looking out over the lake will make your troubles melt away. Highly recommended!…
Traveling with 2 young children from Mexico City to San Miguel certainly isnt a walk in the park! And despite how incredible San Miguel is, it certainly has an energy all its own so staying here way up high on a hill was exactly what our family needed! Jose absolutely goes above and beyond. Same day laundry service, massages, and all the recommendations and help you can ask for! The cottage we stayed in was beyond charming, the blankets and beds were so warm and comfortable. Everyhting was super clean and extremely well cared for. Cant say enough about this place, it was a Godsend!
If you need to get out of downtown San Miguel de Allende for a night. This is the place to go. Jose' was great to work with. Checked us in, made our dinner and even set out rose peddles on the table in the court yard when we were enjoying our afternoon drinks. The room price includes breakfast in the morning. Fresh fruit, bread and large selection of meals to choose from.
Spent 4 nights...excellent care and service...nice breakfast selections. Staff were always there to help. We got a parking ticket in San Miguel...watch those signs..and the owner got the fine paid and our license plate back! We will be back...Beautiful view, quiet, wonderful relaxing stay.
A small (6 splendidly appointed rooms) boutique hotel. The empathic staff makes one truly feel as a warmly welcomed house guest. 10 Km from San Miguel, close to the Winery Route. Adriana and her husband own this place and will make sure one feels at home. José Olvera is an invaluable help from reception to restaurant host to personal attendant, going out of his way always with a cheerful disposition. Chonita and Araceli complete the very attentive staff. Adriana's husband is the creator of splendid stained-glass art decorating strategic places in the hotel and SPA. We felt very much welcomed to come back.
