The Antigua Villa Santa Mónica is a well-designed classic Mexican colonial convent style architecture accommodation property with an interesting history. It's great location at the southern end of the Juarez Park, provides a peaceful and quiet refuge. The staff is extremely attentive and always willing to assist. We did not have the opportunity to partake of their Sunday brunch, however,... More

Always beautiful, always incredible food and always attentive wait staff. One of our favorite places for the last many years. It is a favorite of North Americans as well as international guests. Do consider the brunch on Sunday. Reservations a must.

We have had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is amazing, staff is very nice and extremely helpful and we loved our room. The garden and patio is absolutely superb. Don't miss the Sunday brunch. 2014

A superb location across from the park makes it ideal for Sunday brunch. Very relaxing decor , good food with a variety of choices & an omelet station where you can also have quesadillas made to order. Mimosas are very inexpensive & the service is good.

This is one of the loveliest hotels I have ever stayed in. It's small, quaint, and quiet yet close to all of the sights in San Miguel. Each of the 14 rooms is unique, many with large patios. This hotel would be a fantastic location for a small destination wedding. There is a center courtyard which is a wonderful gathering... More

We arrived late one evening in February when it was chilly. Check-in was smooth, but the rooms have no heat. No one bothered to mention that there was an electric heater in the closet that would have made our first night's stay much more comfortable. Later in our stay we asked for a fire in our fireplace which consisted of... More

Although I have not stayed at this Hotel, I can tell you that the food is wonderful. We usually visit while at Park Juarez and have Breakfast/Brunch. The Eggs Benedict are wonderful as well as other breakfast offerings. The Peacocks wondering around the grounds are an added bonus!

This hotel backs up to the beautiful gardens of Juarez Park, and has it's own impressive gardens, peacocks roaming too, quite delightful! Rooms are all different, our room had it's own patio, nice to enjoy coffee in the morning. The rooms all open onto the central patio. We stayed here and attended a celebration for 32 guests outdoors, great place... More

Stayed 2 nights in a Jr Suite. This hotel is expensive for what you get. It's by a park and within walking distance (10-15 min walk) of all the action but it's expensive for what you get. Here are some things to watch out for: No heat in the rooms. The fireplace could only be used after 10:30pm. The night... More

We leave just a block away from this lovely B &B and while we've never stayed overnight we've come in for at least a dozen meals, simply because it is convenient and the courtyard setting is so charming. But today we went for our third brunch and have sworn, never again! For the price the food is just plain bad,... More
