I wasn't crazy about San Miguel Allende- but I was crazy about this place. Every little detail was thought out -in terms of comfort and aesthetics. It is clear why they are featured in coffee table books like "Mexican Gardens, Fountains..etc" The views from the 2nd foor and roof terrace are amazing..... Heidi and Bill are great hosts. The only...

We grew up in South Texas and the border region was all we knew of Mexico. Our first trip to Colonial Mexico was made excellent by our stay with this wonderfully accommodating couple and their fabulous home. We have to thank them yet again for sharing their home - we felt as though we were leaving dear friends as Heidi...

This was an entirely satisfactory stay. Heid and Bill were perfect hosts- there when needed, but we were able to enjoy complete privacy. The breakfasts were delicious and the conversation a wonderful way to start the day. Casa de la Cuesta will be revisited very soon.

A triumphant success! Casa de la Cuesta is one of the most beautiful places i have ever stayed in all over the world. My only wish was that I could stay longer. Wonderful service, ambience and people. It is a true delight. Heidi and Bill have created a pristine oasis in one of the most beautiful towns in the world....

Casa de la Cuesta is simply the best B&B we have ever visited. Our hosts, Bill & Heidi, were great, ready to offer advise on restaurants, driving directions, accommodations in other towns and anything else you might want to know about San Miguel. We became friends during our six-day stay. Breakfast was always special with a different unexpected menu of...

After two and a half weeks of driving, site-seeing, moving in and out of all sorts of hotels, what a relief to be "home." That's what it felt like when we arrived at Casa de la Cuesta - only it was more like a beautiful museum. Bill and Heidi LeVasseur have designed and built a gorgeous Bed and Breakfast that has...

After browsing through dozens of reviews and forum comments, we decided Casa de la Cuesta sounded like the place to stay. If I have any advice to pass along, I'd tell review readers not to bother continuing the search. This is simply the place to stay! Ambience, comfort, cleanliness, spectacular views, warm hospitality, and memorable breakfasts (and how often can...

My first visit to San Miguel de Allende won’t be my last, and that’s mainly because of Casa de la Cuesta. The door on the cobblestone street doesn’t even begin to hint at the splendid beauty inside. Walking from the mask-lined and dramatically lit passageway to the first courtyard, with its splashing fountain, stone statue of St. Michael, and brilliant...
