It's a very nice place to stay. The location is great! The entrance is not longer in front of the plaza but on the side. The rom is very spacious. The staff is very friendly. I liked the decoration of the room because it is vintage.

We stopped for lunch at the Hotel Posada de San Francisco which has a terrific view on the Jardin...great for some candid people photography. I had the Minera local dish which included a chicken leg and a thigh with enchiladas and small potatoes. Lynn had the Tampiquena Filet with Guacamole, quesadilla, rice and beans and an enchilada. Her steak (mid... More

Great old building. Perfect location. Very accommodating and friendly staff. There is a disco near so ask to be out of range (only Sat. night when I was there). That is why 4 stars instead of 5. The bells come early but I gotta believe that is true everywhere in town. Nice bed, nice shower and big room. They told... More

Closed until further notice. Construction work is going on, but looks very slow. It may just as well stay closed all 2013. Check other options. Closed until further notice. Construction work is going on, but looks very slow. It may just as well stay closed all 2013. Check other options.

We were very excited to arrive to this hotel because from the outside it looks beautiful, and it's right in front of the Cathedral. We made the reservations through the phone, and the person on the reservations line was rather unfriendly. When we arrived to the hotel, we realized that the Front Desk clerk was the same person who made... More

We stayed there with our baby. The hotel was fully booked so they ran out of hot water. We asked for a pot of boiling water so that we could pour some into the bathtub to bathe our baby, but it was very hard to get them to help us. It took them two hours to bring the water to... More

Best staff, restaurant, most comfortable beds, and peaceful. Updated and wonderful. Very best location. My new friends Juan C. at the desk, and the waitress Judy and the nice bartenders and the honest and friendly housekeepers made this the top tripadvisor choice we have made. I would stay again here.

hi, we consulted trip advisor advisor and looked for very central location in this beautiful mexican small town, but with a room not facing the central square (el jardin, or Zocalo as in other mexican cities), good space, and a functional bath, and got all of that!! THERE IS NO BETTER LOCATION IN TOWN! the room is a junior suite... More

We stayed in San Miguel for three nights, my husband and I traveled with my inlaws and wanted comfortable rooms to relax when we were tired of walking around the town. The hotel is located off the main square in San Miguel, you just can't beat the location. It has valet parking - a definite plus if you are driving.... More
