    Great location at super price
The hotel has a great location! Just a couple blocks from the center... The prices are great, make sure to ask, as the ones they show or advertise are not the ones they charge, they are much cheaper! The bad is if you get the balcony room, which is the one with the best view of town, you will have to get used to all the street noise... If you want a quiet room when sleeping, even at night, make sure to not get that one.

Lovely Hotel Boutique! Too bad that it is so close to the Parroquia!
This hotel it's like a little jewel near the center of the action. We stayed in the Parroquía room, lovely, incredible view, really speechless view. The room was clean, had a comfortable bed, all decor appeared traditional but felt very new. The room was cozy and charming. However, as first timers visiting this enchanting place, we did not know that the Parroquía rings its bells about every hour or so, they have festivities, weddings, funerals non stop & ringing the bell is part of these wonderful rituals. But it almost ruined our vacation because you do not get quality of sleep & the air conditioner was not working. The hotel staff provided earplugs & a fan, but it does not suffice if the Parroquía patrons are shooting off fireworks at 5:00 am :( The hotel originally was part of the church cluster but it was sold later on to hotel investors. The hotel is chic, it has an enchanting garden & decor, the pool bar serves incredible Margaritas. The pool is heated if it is chilly, the wifi works very well. The staff was attentive and had great customer skills. Everyone very, very nice & excellent hosts. Kudos to: Gabriel, Juan Carlos, Don Alfonso, Humberto, the cleaning staff. Ms. Claudia Guerrero was super attentive, whom checked every detail so that the hotel would run smoothly. Everything was perfect except for that little but crucial detail... otherwise, they would have gotten 5 stars. If you are a very heavy sleeper or planning in being out all night then you should come to this hotel.

we take a group to San Miguel every summer and have used this inn for 6 years. although it has changed from the former Villa Rivera, it did upgrade the linens, but took away the café. It is a charming hotel in great location, typical Mexican tile, and the rooms vary. The have limited staff, but they are nice. They do still have a small bar near the pool. the Parroquilla church is NEXT DOOR, so you will hear the bells - but this adds to the great location.

Service great, Rooms Great. Distance Downtown OK. BUuuuuuuuuuuuut the acceptance of kids fosters super noisy and annoying ambient and actually destroy the piece and nice afternoon everybody is looking for. Most of the people decided not to stay near the pool and even go outside the hotel. This could be one of the good nice beat choices at San Miguel, but till the management takes action no way this could be a choice again for us and friends. Veeeeeeery disappointing. Thanks.

The hotel is very quaint, and the location is amazing. It is small hotel, with a small pool and green area, but an amazing view of the church and just a couple of minutes walk to everything! I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for al little bit of luxury, good service, and great location ... La Posadita, a great restaurant, is also just steps away!

I had the balcony room and it was the perfect room for me and my wife. Imagine having some drinks in your own balcony and enjoying the bell sound from the main cathedral and mariachis singing around, that is some perfect evening. The hotel it’s centric, you can easily get to the main plaza, shops and restaurants under 10 min. The staff are very professional and attentive. Make sure you choose ahead of time where to eat some breakfast since the hotel has a very simple one, but it can be very nice to walk out of the room and see some coffee and pastries to start your morning. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! Thanks

This hotel calls itself a Hotel Boutique. Forget it, it’s a rundown hotel, no restaurant, which needs substantial maintenance. The service was quite bad, the bedroom was made late in the afternoon. Towels were ripped and stained. The shower head pour water in all directions. Now, the location is outstanding, a.m. with the bells of the parish. Is quite expensive for what one gets. Not recommended, there are better options.

Beautiful setting and location. Very close to center which commands higher price. Unfortunately, it is outdated, and poorly maintained. With minimum effort could be a great deal. Too bad. I’d not go back. Competition is fierce in San Miguel, there are so many better options.

We really enjoyed our stay at coqueta. We had an amazing view and loved the pool and courtyard too. It seemed like someone had forgotten to finish cleaning our room when we first arrived but the next morning they sent someone up to rectify and all was well! Just remember to bring earplugs because the church bells are very loud even at night. (It's worth it for the gorgeous view of the church though). The staff went above and beyond helping us even very late at night time. I would stay again.

Great hotel, nice place to stay, big rooms, with helpful staff, waking distance to the main plaza, close to famouse restaurants. This hotel is behind the principal church, so at night you can hear the bells, but is not to loud.

We went to have a long weekend in San MIguel de Allende and found what seemed to be a very nice hotel where we planned don staying for three nights. With a couple of rooms, the hotel is actually very nice to the eye. Our room was pleasant with a nice view of the cathedral and the pool. This was the nice part of the stay. We arrived late at night so we really didn't see much. We went down to the pool area and had a few drinks with other guests and enjoyed excellent service by the bar tender. However the next day when we woke up we found pieces of a trash bag inside our bed with long dark hairs that didn't belong to me or my wife (she's blonde) and stained linens that seemed like they hadn't been washed in some time or at least used before without being washed. We told the staff at the front desk before going running in the morning and when we came back from breakfast the room was made but still dirty with hairs on the bed and the floor with additional trash. The mini bar had half opened water bottles and sodas and the bathroom had a terrible odor. This was a real disappointment. The place would be lovely if it really had good management. You can't charge the room prices they do (more than 200 US Dollars per night) and not be able to offer a clean room with respectable linens that aren't stained! The floor totally run down and the bathroom, quaint but really not up to par with old run down towels. Upon returning and telling the manager he wasn't doing his job and we didn't want to stay, we were lucky enough to get a great room in Casa Sierra Nevada by Belmond for a higher price but for a perfect stay, worth every penny! Too bad this place had real charm but didn't deliver on every thing else.

We've made out a family trip with four people and shared two rooms in this hotel. Coming with a large car is no problem. The very helpful hotel staff will park your vehicle for you and this gives you peace of mind. The narrow streets in San Miguel de Allende can be quiet tricky for inexperienced drivers. After checking in you will access your room through the most beautiful courtyard I have ever seen. The famous San Miguel Cathedral is right next to it, which makes little excursions to the city center very easy. The courtyard consists of a little swimming pool (if you come in October be aware of the little ripe fruits falling from the tree into the pool), lots of trees, seating arrangements, lays and an outside bar with very kind waiters. The wifi in your room or at the pool is strong enough to do the most things on your smart devices. At night time the garden looks like a fairy place with all the little lights and you can shoot the most amazing photos from San Miguel Cathedral tower. My wife and I fell in love with this little treasure and we sure will come back. Just tell the reception 10 minutes before you leave to bring the car and you can enter your vehicle right at the doorstep. Living for a couple of years in Mexico and visited some other hotels in San Miguel de Allende, I can say for myself that the Coqueta Hotel Botique is our absolute favorite.

Hotel is perfectly located one block from the main attractions in SMA. Our room was spacious and wonderful decorated! The patio / garden is very relaxing! Service was great everyone very helpful. The only thing is they do not have breakfast but you are half a block from all the restaurants you need! Highly recommend!
