This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. I still recommend this place as it is well located, comfortable and pretty reasonably priced. I just would advise you that if you tend to wake up late on Sundays bring some ear plugs as the hotel is pretty close to the main church and the bells will surely wake... More

A beautiful boutique hotel right in the heart of town. Walk to everything or get a cab nearby. Rooms are spacious and the courtyard is wonderful. The property is old but well maintained. Most of the staff are bilingual. A real find at less than $100 per night!

My idea of travelling to Mexico was not to stay at the traditional chain hotels nor a North American style vacation on the Riviera. Mexico is traditional, colonial, colourful, picturesque and simply Mexico with its wrought iron windows, carved wood doors, terracotta patios and hanging plants, a reflection of their haciendas and/or ranchos. Casaluna offers all this and much more.... More

Loved the ambiance of this romantic get away. Would definitely stay here again. Slept well. Breakfast included was adequate. Coffee was excellent! Price can't be beat. And walling distance 5 to 7 minutes to most attractions and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean beds and pillows were fine. The parking was handled by the staff. This is... Wonderful rooms lots of space and balconies, over looking the garden. Breakfast is served in the garden terrace and lovely service. Would recommend the owners to serve real toast not the pre-toasted pan bimbo that was served! Other than that wonderful! Exceptional boutique hotel will return again!

We went to a friend's wedding in San Miguel last weekend and we stayed at casaluna since we had heard about it before and decided to give it a try and were not disappointed! Our suite was on the second floor and although it was pretty hot outside, we opened the windows and the balcony doors and asked for a... More

My fiance and I had a few nights at Casaluna and couldn't have been happier. The staff were extremely helpful and the hotel was amazing. Only a few blocks from the town centre but still very very quiet. The rooms were massive and the shower was unreal (especially after a few weeks of backpacking). The free breakfasts were also great... More

Great stay! Guest service is phenomenal. Prices are affordable. We had 2 deluxe rooms and came during the week. We were told it gets a little more crowded in the weekends, so must make reservation way in advance. We are definitely coming back. The town is clean, and maintains the charm of the old Mexico.

We loved staying here. So beautiful and romantic. We can't wait to come back! Every room feels like it's own little apartment. Somehow felt luxurious and home-y at the same time. It's only a few blocks away from the jardín. The bells from the church do ring all night long but you're going to hear them staying anywhere in town.... More

We had a suite on the 2nd level. Nothing was brand new, and that was the charm. Everything was well maintained, clean. The Breakfast is included, and off the menu. It was a great choice and well prepared. Severed in a wonderful court yard. Easy walking to everywhere. The TV had a lot of English channel. We loved it

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Rated "one of the world's best unknown hotels" by Travel & Leisure Magazine. Nestled in the mountains four hours from Mexico City, lies the quaint village of San Miguel de Allende, a Spanish-colonial jewel and designated historic monument by the Mexican government. With narrow cobblestone streets, colorful markets and fiestas, numerous shops, galleries and fine restaurants, San Miguel is a favorite destination for artists, writers and discriminating world travelers. ... more   less
