Nice staff, as soon as you arrive they have a guard/driver that help you park the car cause is a small and complicated entrance, free parking fits around 8 cars. It is convenient cause almost everything is at a walking distance. Room was clean, does not have heater or AC, you may ask for additional quilts. When we arrived to...

The area is absolutely beautiful: los Lavaderos, next to Casa de Sierra nevada. It´s a big house with several rooms and a new annex. You feel as if you´re staying at a friend´s place. It is quiet and exclusive. The room is big and clean, the mattress is comfortable but the pillows are hard and there´s no mini bar nor...

After seeing the pictures and reading the reviews I had high expectations for this place. Of the 3 hotels we are staying at in Mexico during our vacation I expected Casa de Liza to be the best. To my surprise it was the worst. My main qualifications for a good hotel are simple comfort and location. My issues with the...

I made the mistake of booking this hotel on Booking.com for a relaxing anniversary weekend getaway with my wife. I received a booking confirmation, but when we arrived, they claimed they couldn't find my reservation. The place was something of a disaster. I almost tripped over their aggressive, barking pug when I first walked in, and the courtyard was undergoing...

My husband and I stayed here on the recommendation of a good friend with high standards. What we didn't know was that the property had changed owners. The first clue should have been that we had trouble finding any actual website or contact info for the property directly and could only reserve through booking.com. In addition, when I finally found...

Our trip to San Miguel allowed us to stay at Casa Liza for three days and two nights. The morning breakfast was lovely as was the garden patio on which we were served breakfast. The hotel puppies and calico cat create the feeling that you are home away from home, which my friend and I completely enjoyed. The architecture of...

Casa de Liza is a beautiful B&B located in the loveliest area of San Miguel de Allende- that is the obvious! Comfort and beauty are delightful, but what made our stay divine was the attentiveness and kindness of Liiza's staff. I am so grateful for all of their wonderful help and attentiveness.

We stayed here only one night but were extremely please with accommodations. Quite diverse type of rooms. Some VERY large, all very typical Mexican decorations. The grounds are very attractive and well landscaped! The owner speaks perfect English and is both very nice and extremely helpful.

Don't look any further. Casa de Liza is gorgeous and yet reasonably priced. After walking the hilly cobblestone streets (steep like SF and Berkeley) it's a delight to be staying where it is flat and easy to walk to the best bakery, La Parada Peruvian restaurant and all the other restaurants on the main square which is about five blocks....

This B&B is stunning! Great breakfasts, lovely flowers everywhere, very convenient to walk around town. We stayed for four nights & would have happily stayed longer. Really, couldn't have asked for more.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Casa de Liza is an elegant enclave of luxurious and romantic accommodations situated on the paradise-like grounds of a restored colonial estate just three blocks from the center of town. We like to think of ourselves as "more than just a bed and breakfast" for many reasons. In the morning you're served your breakfast from our gourmet menu, when ever and where ever you would like, even in bed. All of our accommodations, which are in separate and private locations, always have fresh flowers, a welcome snack in your refrigerator, and nightly turn downs with chocolates on the pillows and your choice of down or hypo-allergenic pillows. In addition to the daily maid service each accommodation has a private telephone with computer port, cable television and clock radio. We also offer laundry service and secure parking on our premises with night watchmen. We have an acre of beautifully terraced and landscaped grounds, complete with parrots and an orchid filled greenhouse. One has the feeling of being in the country and yet we are only three blocks from the center of town. ... more   less
