Location location what a beautiful hotel just a few blocks from city central (5 mins)The art work throughout the hotel and the gardens were dazzling. The room rates were extremely reasonable. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful in making your stay comfortable..They are great ambassadors for San Miguel. Our room(Gaviota) was spacious and accommodating. But wait!! You have to eat at their restaurant the brunch is fabulous and dinner on the roof is spectacular we had the Mango ceviche (OMG) and carnitas tacos very tasty. Excellent service

Great beds & pillows, authentic ambiance, great hotel staff and perfect location Note all the rooms are different and you won’t necessarily get the room shown on the website when you book but all the rooms we saw were very charming. Very clean facility

I booked a double king bed on the website and was so excited to see the hotel and enjoy our room, but when we arrived the hotel manager informed us that the room we booked online doesn’t exist and their website is wrong. Instead it’s a double twin room and no second floor oh and there are no more room available tonight you can just sleep your 6 people in 2 twins! Don’t trust these people or the website, it’s not what you think it is and the pictures are edited to look way bigger than the room actually are and the details are literally a lie! Buyer beware!

Excellent location and service. The people were impeccable. The bar was limited in selection. The ac made the room extremely comfortable, as well as the beds were large with lots of pillows. The television was large, but never figured out how to work it, though we rarely wanted to watch televison because we stayed so busy enjoying the city.

No volvería a hospedarme aquí. **English:** The standout feature of Hacienda el Santuario is undoubtedly the friendly service of its staff and the quality of its restaurant. However, I have significant reservations about recommending this hotel. The room displayed in the reservation photos did not match the one we were given. Although the staff claimed it was in the same price range (around 7,000 pesos per night), the room was split into two levels with extremely inaccessible stairs. The shower, where there was supposed to be a bathtub, had the worst water pressure I've ever experienced, and the water tasted of rusted pipes. The night staff is clearly not trained to handle guests properly. Even though they tried to compensate for the mistake, I genuinely don't believe the cost reflects the quality. I wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel was beautiful. But my two diamond rings were stolen out of my bag. I never wore them and someone had to go through my items to find the rings. I contacted the hotel and never got a response. I did not use the safe in the room but I did have my jewelry bag hidden in my suitcase. Do not bring nice items unless you plan to have them on you at all times.

Horrible check in experience. Room was not the room class/size of what we reserved. When we tried to rectify it, the staff was rude and argumentative. Had we been able to find other accomodations, we would have left. Being that we had spent 10 hours traveling, we stayed. We had to pay more because they were so unreasonable. We work in worldwide events and this had never happened to us prior in 30 years. If they are going to represent their room class with particular photos, they should be close or the size that are shown. We ended up in single rooms and both had items stolen. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone regardless of the beauty of the space.

Don’t make your reservation by phone or at the hotel’s webpage. Do it in an online reservation center, you get a lot cheaper price, which includes breakfast and parking for free. That’s the only complaint I have, I paid almost 3 times the price you get online, by making my reservation by phone.
