What a lovely, welcoming b and b!. Four of us stayed in rooms located at the back of the property in a private courtyard. We had a living area and kitchen for our use beside our rooms. It contained everything we needed. We sat on the patio in front of our rooms a couple of afternoons with wine and appetizers... More

I stayed at CdlN for 10 days, and was ever so sorry to leave. Barbara and the staff couldn't do enough to make our time there memorable. Located just a short walk from the town plaza, we soon learned the pace of San Miguel, where sitting with a glass of wine and watching people can provide many happy hours. The... More

This is a delightful place, well managed, terrific staff, delicious breakfasts with homemade yogurt, fresh papaya, mango, cereals, and a choice between two hot breakfast dishes. Several lovely areas to sit and read or visit with friends inside and out, beautiful gardens, a very magical place with so much comfort and charm. All the rooms are different.

We had the great luck to be here for a night and it was perfection. The location is close to the excitement of the town, yet an enclave of tranquility. The hospitality is abundant, with every need being met and the staff is attentive to details. Every room comes with its own personality, reflecting Barbara's artistic eye. Our room was... More

Incredible stay, close to downtown and markets. Beautiful terrace, balconies, gardens... The photos do not fully portray how incredibly cozy and detailed oriented the whole house really is. The staff was impeccable and happily responded to all of our needs. This posada is what Mexico is all about, it's a special, friendly and spectacular place.

Barbara and the staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. They know all the places to visit in between your scheduled activities. I went to do a painting class. Since the class only took up three days, I had a lot of extra time. Barbara gave me tips on where to get a yoga class (great for a tired back) and... More

A friend and I visited San Miguel last week for the first time. Friends made several suggestions of where to stay. We thought it would be fun to be able to say we stayed in a bordello, sooo...we chose Casa de la Noche. What a wonderful place to stay! Love the ambiance of the place! Everything is tastefully decorated. Barbara... More

This hotel was a lucky find. Almost the last room available in town due to a last minute change of plans, it turned out to be the high point of my trip. The owner, Barbara, has done an exceptional job of rehabilitating an old whorehouse(reputed to be the best in town in it's day). She has packed the place with... More

Booked this B&B without knowing much about it, it was a last minute booking to meet up with friends in San Miguel de Allende. Wife and I were pleasantly surprised with this place. Very beautiful and relaxing. B&B also has a very rich history...I wish I would have known more about its history before staying there, it would have made... More
