This was our first trip to San Miguel and we booked our stay here based on recommendations. The service and hospitality surpassed all our expectations! Barbara, Ricardo and Uriel went out of their way to make us feel right at home. This luxurious home is located on a quiet street yet it is within a 5 min walk to the main plaza where you will find all the restaurants and the San Miguel Cathedral. You don’t have to worry about church bells or other noises interrupting your sleep, but you’re also within walking distance of main attractions. The rooms are so nicely decorated and are surrounded by beautiful gardens. Warm breakfast is included and it was so delicious. They make their own granola and it’s the best I’ve ever had. I also want to note that the water pressure in the shower is fenomenal! My husband thought he dropped his wallet during breakfast and Uriel quickly went and got all his staff to look for it. We ended up finding it in our bedroom. Uriel quickly brought us a tea to help clam us from the incident and for his thoughtfulness, we will always be grateful. I can not recommend Casa de la Noche enough. Look nowhere else. You will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back soon!!

My business partner and I have hosted two art retreats with Casa de la Noche and everything they provided was top notch! The staff is super friendly and helpful and Barbara made it very easy for all of our arrangements. Our guests were super pleased and I would not hesitate to host another retreat with them!

Review collected in partnership with this hotel
A truly beautiful hotel with outstanding staff. It is located in the historic district close enough to the central plaza (El Jardin) for easy walking access without being immediately next to the Jardin. This is a huge advantage during festivals when VERY loud fireworks are set off day and night by individuals as well as the city. The hotel feels more like an elegant home with luxuriously planted patios scattered throughout. Rooms are individually decorated. Breakfast is included in the price and is served in a lovely central courtyard. Staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive and the proprietor makes you feel like she is welcoming you into her home. One of the most relaxing places I've ever stayed.

I stayed in this charming hotel for 3 nights over the labor day weekend and I could not have been happier for choosing this hotel based on a recommendation. Barbara and her staff were so amazing. They were friendly, helpful, caring and went out of their way to make my stay memorable, giving me all great recommendations on places to visit, restaurants to eat in, the best ice-cream shop and the best street food. The hotel is just a few blocks from from the centro (took me 5 mins to walk), close to all the good restaurants and places of interest. The hotel interiors are so well done, everything so artistically decorated and so very soothing. Some recommendations based on my experience (all of these are walking distance from Casa de la Noche) - Best Ice cream - Barbara's recommendation was spot on, I tried many ice cream vendors in the city, but the one close to the hotel and recommended by Barbara was the best in my opinion. Best Street Food - again, go with the hotel's recommendation Best rooftop bar - Luna bar on top of Hotel Rosewood. Best place for local music - Los Milagros in the centro. I definitely want to go return to San Miguel, and Casa de la Noche is the place I will stay at again when I do so. Muchas Gracias, Barbara and all the staff at Casa de la Noche.
