This bed and breakfast more than lives up to its reputation. My friend and I stayed there for a week, and enjoyed the lovely rooms and delicious, home made breakfast, made to taste every morning. Even better, the staff were simply wonderful, kind, and extremely accommodating. Uriel, the manager, and the other front desk staff were always pleasant, warm, and...

Charming piece of colonial Spain in one of Mexico's most charming old towns, Casa de la Noche is a collection of meandering rooms, terraces, and gardens in a former bordello. It became our home away from home for 10 days under the careful but friendly supervision of owner Barbara Poole. It's comfortable and quiet but just a short walk from...

I stayed at Casa de la Noche with a group of 8 pastel painters for 10 days in January 2017. It was a wonderful inspiring experience. Barbara and her staff have created a warm creative environment - original and changing art throughout. Each morning our group was greeted with a beautifully served breakfast. Our rooms were clean and inviting. The...

Stayed with a group whose tour revolved around seeing overwintering Monarchs & garden tours. Beds most comfy, great breakfasts including scrambled hue so with black beans. Fast service & friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful decor and interesting spaces. Convenient to shopping & restaurants.

We really enjoyed our 3 day stay. This was our first trip to San Miguel Allende and we found a great spot from which to venture out. We stayed in Las Turcas, a main floor room that ended up being perfect for us but the rooms are all unique. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. And yes, we would...

Once a bordello, each room is unique. We stayed in La Vista that had a kitchen, living room and private veranga. All that we saw were large rooms/suites, with many outdoor spaces We had very good breakfasts, The Casa de la Noche was filed with personal touches, wonderful art work, books and newspapers and had an excellent staff. We were...

Casa de la Noche was a great base for exploring San Miguel, outside the center but close enough for easy walking. The spaces in the Casa ramble up and down, around and about (not easy for anyone with mobility problems) and are full of wonderful and artistic furnishings and displays with real character and grace. My room was great (I...

Without a doubt of the many B&B's we have experienced, Casa de la Noche rates as the best in every respect. The facility is charming in the extreme, the assistance from Barbara and her staff outstanding, the location proximate to the Jardin, yet in a quiet area. What more can I say.

Beautiful place to stay in San Miguel! There are apartment-style hotel rooms throughout this property - some are better than others. We had a kitchen and dining area, in addition to a balcony which worked out perfectly for us for the one evening we stayed here. There is brunch which we weren't able to take advantage of - but I...

Such a gracious and caring hostess! Barbara made sure everything went perfectly for our groups of 25+ travelers. This hotel is a GEM! I would move in if I could afford it. A visual feast, you'll find the hotel more like a home full of art and character. I will stay no place else in San Miguel. Our groups LOVE...

“The Mariposa room was very quiet and pretty.”

“Our room, called "Kiss Me Again," was really a full suite shared with one other room. It had a kitchen, dining area, and living room, all overlooking one of the central courtyards with fountain. It turned out to be a good gathering place for small parties. Our bedroom had a gas-logs fireplace which we used on cool nights. ”

“We stayed in the Hummingbird room in a courtyard off the main area. Very quiet and a few feet from a lounge and kitchen area equipped with cooking and refrigerator facilities as well as a TV. The latter was most welcome for U.S. news and viewing of the National Championship football game.”
