Ok, so maybe the heat could have been better, the place is old and worn, but this was still the most spectacular hotel on our trip and one of the coolest places I've ever stayed! Picture the Grand Canyon with a hotel built into the cliff, where every room has a view and the restaurant and bar seem like they... More

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel. Very comfortable rooms with a balcony that offer amazing view of the beautiful canyon. Very friendly staff and great seating areas in the lobby. The hotel also has a decent bar. The food was excellent. Also, there is a beautiful hike ~2 miles long that starts and ends at the hotel, through the... More

Everything is great about this hotel, except..... they have no heat for winter and it is full, full, full and everyone including the help are in full outer wear, even to sleep in. They have propane lamps, but they were all out of gas!! and a huge crowd was there over Xmas break. The dining room then is freezing, but... More

This hotel is buried on the canyon, with amazing views from every corner ! Each room has a terrace and watching the sunset is a must. As it is a very small town there is not much to do around the property at nights and there is no t.v in the rooms ( only one in the bar) and no... More

Great views and the manager was so helpful. Pick rooms 35 onwards for the best views. Right next to the train station. Also only a 10 minute walk to the zip wires. Nice restaurant and bar with open fire on site and the gorditos at the train station are delicious!

This hotel is built right on the cliffs of the Copper Canyon and was a stop off point for us on our tour of the area. Each room has a view of the Canyon. Some rooms are quite a hike from the lobby. There is no TV or internet in the rooms but the stargazing off your balcony at night... More

This is a hotel for tourist with very poor traveler sense. Same "intenational" food as if you never get out of your house. Not service but servilism form waitress. I was ashamed that tis could be interpret as our traditional mexican hospitality. Everyone has the right to have vacations in all inclusive resorts, with all luxury you can have with... More

I visited the "Barrancas del Cobre" or Copper Canyon last week. I knew it was impressive but was not prepared for the unbelievable sights and culture in the Canyon area. The Hotel Posada Barrancas Mirador provides spectacular views of the Canyon from every room in the hotel. The food was excellent and the staff very helpful. I would go again... More

We were only at Mirador one night and wished we had more time. The view from the room is incredible, the service throughout the hotel is absolutely exceptional. The room was a bit small but very comfortable, attractive and spotless. If you're only there one night don't miss out on the hike along the rim - it was at about... More
