Detailed Reviews
I stayed here with my wife and two sons for 5 nights and found it to be a great value hotel for our holiday in Normandy.
The hotel is well-kept and modest and the proprietor and his wife are very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are clean and tidy and the bathroom is fine. The hotel is well-situated for exploring the D-Day beaches and beyond and is within easy walking distance of the superb beach and the town centre.
We took the breakfast option and it was a hearty portion which set us up for the day.
I would recommend this hotel.

The Inn is well located and quiet. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. Free parking is appreciable. Breakfast (10€) served at the table is very good.
A good address to visit the area being in a quiet place.

We had a pleasant night.
The owner made us very welcome, he was super friendly and smiling. The room was spotless and clean, we were very surprised for a 2 star hotel.
We come from 77, we will come back without hesitation and above all we have found our hotel in Normandy!
Thank you very much for this weekend 😊

I’m on a walking tour from Ouistreham to Le Havre and booked Le Vauban for my first stop. It was reasonably priced for the area. Check in was friendly. My room was on 1st floor of an annexe and was clean and as one would expect. I thought the breakfast lacked imagination. Nothing was home made and cheeses were portioned in sealed plastic. Yoghurts we’re supermarket standards. Nice fruit though. All in all it was nothing special but ok.

Everything was spot on. So clean and welcoming. Staff were extremely helpful. The beach just 15 minutes walk away was divine. Lots of activities for children and plenty of bars for a relaxing few minutes. We loved everything and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and location.

Nice place, nothing fancy. Only about 1/2 km from the beach and the small "centre" of town. Easy to walk to either place. It was quiet, clean. Price was pretty good. Didn't have the breakfast. Had a room at the back with a balcony. slept with the sliding door open as it was warm. No air-conditioning, or fan. Generally that isn't needed as it doesn't get too hot on the coast. I'd stay there again. Nice place for a relaxed visit. Only stayed for one night.

This is a lovely boutique hotel a short 10min walk into the town’s restaurants and the D-Day landing beach, with on site parking.
The hotel and reception desk is not open 24/7 so check your booking confirmation. We arrived a little have 4pm and was warmly welcomed by one of the co-owners who spoke impeccable English.
We were efficiently checked-in and and were directed to our 1st floor bedroom, which was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable with free WiFi with a modern flat TV.
Only breakfast is served at this hotel, but it’s beautifully presented with a great selection of fresh continental fair on offer.
The location is in a perfect location to start your tour the various D-Day memorials, including the beaches, Pegasus bridge and cemetery’s as well as the resort towns of Cabourg, Houlgate and Trouville.
While only a ** hotel it is truly a lovely hotel and great value for your money.

Lovely ground floor room which was very clean, tidy and very quiet. Good off road car parking and the breakfast was excellent. I would certainly recommend this as a place to stay!
Only a few minutes from the centre of town and would recommend Le G-B as a great restaurant for dinner.
The staff/owners of Le Vauban were very welcoming and attentive.

There is adequate private parking at this hotel. We were met at reception by a very friendly lady and shown to our room. Most of the rooms are in an annex. We had one on the first floor: the ground floor rooms have disable access. Ours was a small but very comfortable and spotlessly clean room with modern decor. There is no restaurant but it is only about a 15 minute walk to the beach where there are a number of restaurants to choose from. The breakfast room is bright and cheerful and a good choice of food available on the buffet. We stayed for two nights whilst visiting Caen and it only took about 20 minutes to the centre – and we got to cross Pegasus Bridge on the way. I would definitely stay here again, particularly if using the Ouistreham ferry. The room price is excellent value.

Bonjour,
Nous n'avons pas de restaurant au sein de l'hôtel. Néanmoins, plusieurs restaurants sont présents entre 300 et 800mètres.
