Just back from 2 weeks at this hotel. Didnt do my homework so steps a bit of a problem but well worth it for the views. Air conditioning supreme, room was beautiful and well furnished. My partener fell and the staff from reception were amazing,so kind but really efficient in arranging doctor and taxis for us.We are every night because the food was so good and Alex in the restaurant was amazing remembering what we liked to drink and saving our special table for us.We used the hotels sunbeds and although a bit pricey well worth it for the boys that ran for food and drinks etc.Brilliant holiday so thankyou all at Valtos beach hotel.
Didn't stay at the Hotel but ate at the restaurant. Twice. Both times it was fantastic, the location is great and the food was amazing. The service is second to none, I think Konstantine is probably one of the best waitresses we have ever encountered. Excellent!!
First visit recently Pros. The view!!! When you open your balcony doors to the sea view. Breakfast was decent. Ate once in the evening which was nice but pricey. Rooms clean. Cons. Not a cheap stay. Missed having tea/coffee facilities in room. Ok I guess if you get the apartment with kitchen. No info in rooms about anything. Shower was a bit leaky so water seeped under shower cubicle and bathroom floor was soaked.. If you want a bed by the pool be prepared to be up early. Beds on the pebble beach for the hotel but you pay for them. Then get third degree from staff as you leave to prove who you are and paid.. Could have been approached better. Smoother sand further up the beach. Would I return, yes to Parga maybe not this hotel.
Just had a weeks stay in this fantastic hotel, the staff were absolutely wonderful rooms spotless and food very good. It was our first time in Parga and we enjoyed it so much we hope to return next year. We walked up to the old town or into Parga town each night for our evening meal did not mind the walk at all with the fantastic view’s of Valtos beach and the bay of Parga town with the harbour, all ways a welcoming break halfway up at Mike’s bar and on the way back. Had a great day out at Lichnos beach (only 12 euros in taxi from our hotel) free sun beds and brolley at the Coral bar and restaurant we did have drinks and lunch in the restaurant. We had all the other days at our hotel on the beach or round the pool, free sun beds round the pool but 5 euros per person for sun beds on the beach, did not go down well with other guests that we spoke to, we think for hotel guests all sun beds should be free our only criticism when you are spending 30 to 40 euros on drinks and lunch, just go down the beach to Captain’s bar for free sun beds if you eat or drink in the bar / restaurant.…
Just returned from a weeks stay at the Valtos with my husband and stayed in room 169 with a fantastic sea view Its a lovely very clean hotel which serves great food in a brilliant location and run by a great team Free comfy sun-beds on the beach and we never had a problem getting one either round the pool or on the beach ,,,, none of that having to get up early and put towels on them to ensure that you got one Its a 10-20 minute walk into town but up a quite steep hill. If you don’t fancy that you can get a water taxi round to the harbour which I think was 2.50 euros or a taxi for 5 Quite a number of guests we spoke to come back year after year which is always the best recommendation you can get for a hotel We will definitely be adding this to our list of places to recommend and hopefully re visit…
Lovely hotel immaculately clean through out, rooms were large, modern, bright and airy. Pool area lovely and surrounding grounds were very well maintained. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the room safe and air conditioning was included in the price. Rooms were cleaned everyday and the sheets and towels seemed to be changed at the same time, all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Something to consider if anyone is in poor health or has mobility issues is that it could be challenging due to the amount of steps around the hotel and the steep walk up the hill and the amount of steps down into Parga town. Alternatively, you can catch the taxi boat from Valtos beach around to Parga for 5€ per couple one way, this runs from around 9am to 11:30pm every half an hour. I will definitely go back as we had such a good time there and only wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks again to all the staff who made are stay so pleasurable.…
Our second visit to this hotel and we weren’t disappointed. Lovely hotel with friendly staff and in a great location on Valtos Beach. We will definitely be going back in the next few years as Parga is one of the most beautiful places I have visited.
15th August 2021 [1 week] View....WOW.....lovely room with amazing view of the sea and Parga Castle. Hotel was clean and modern the staff were friendly. We stayed B&B and the breakfast was good with most things that you would expect. We ate at the restaurant on one occasion, which was excellent. There were so many great places to eat in Parga some with fantastic views across the sea, we were spoiled for choice. Lots to discover, if you like walking there is Ali pasha castle with amazing views and sunsets { you can also get a lift on the road train- well worth the trip} In the opposite direction is a coastal path to Lichnos beach though olive groves and past small church. Lots of water sports and a gorgeous tiny uninhabited island that you can swim to from the beach with a church and rocks to climb. We hired a motor bike to visit Acheron river where you can walk in the shallow waters of the river for about a mile or so...was a great day out but recommend water shoes to protect your feet from rocks. You can also horse ride /zip wire or go rafting at the same place. We only stayed a week ,which wasn't long enough so...I'll be back.…
Just returned from a 2 week stay at the Valtos Beach Hotel. We had a fabulous spacious Suite room 174 with a lovely sea view. This hotel is so well ran and the food is the best we've eaten in Parga... in fact we had lunch every single day in the hotel. Alec the Bar Manager is amazing.. the man is a machine.. doesn't stop working. I don't think I waited longer than 5 seconds on any occasion to be served a drink during the day. The staff here work so hard and are so accommodating. We normally stay Harbour side at Parga but already I am planning to return next August and stay again at the Valtos Beach. Service 5*, Cleaniness 5*, Food 5*
