Sean and Meriann totally ROCK! The B&B is attached to the pub that they also operate. They welcome you and make you feel right at home. We arrived late because of problems in Dublin but they were there waiting for us. Had some Guinness in the pub and met the locals. It was a blast. Friendly and taught me Hurley.... More

Just back from a visit to the beautiful counties of Laois and Kilkenny. We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Foxrock Inn on a B&B basis. I stayed here for four nights. The beds are comfy the food delicious and the hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this place it is full of Irish charm and hospitality !! Its easy to get to from Dublin in a lovely rural setting.

I first reviewed Fox Rock Inn as a customer just using the excellent bar in April,while staying nearby.On this visit Marian showed us round the main part of the hotel,we where so impressed we came back to Clough in June and stayed there.The bedrooms are first class.with all the usual niceties(tea coffee etc) and the en suite is beautifully set... Have stayed at the Foxrock Inn on an annual golfing break for the last 9 years.Could not praise this place more highly.. Central for all the golf courses in County Laois Small pub in a village with very comfortable rooms and breakfast and evening meal to die for. Excellent value for money! We went in this bar just about every night we were in Clough,and to be honest,we wish we had gone in every night as it's a waste of a good pub not to go in.Every one of the locals treated us like friends as soon as they knew we were on holiday in Fitzpatrick's Cottage.The Guinness is superb,I've never liked...
