The cabin location was awesome. We had a view of the Kennebec River and plenty of privacy. The cabin had everything that we needed and was easy to access. The UTV riding was a blast and the guys working at the rental place were really cool.

Beautiful spot for our camper with ATV access. The trails left right from the campground. The view of the river was breathtaking. The only complaint is that the grass was long in our campsites and the trash cans were already full when we got there.

We had a fantastic trip on the Kennebec with Grace, Parker and Jackson. In addition to several 3 and class rapids, we made two waterfall stops and go to have a quick Nettie Pot swim. The end of trip meal was outstanding (the salmon is excellent) and the photos and videos were lots of fun. Highly recommend!

Fantastic River trip hitting class 3 and 4 rapids . Great guide . Great vacation spot. Food was great and brewery on site . Lodging was clean and very accommodating for our group of ten . Water was very cold this time of year (may) so I would definitely suggest wet suits and foot and hand gear . They also cover all three major white water trips Kenebec, Dead and Penobscot rivers.

Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment. River rafting was super fun and the guides were amazing! Only complaints about the cabins: the kitchen knives weren't sharp enough (maybe provide a sharpener) and more blankets could be provided for downstairs, since downstairs isn't heated.

Absolutely incredible place and staff. Loved the lodge, the food and specially the service. Northern Outdoors team is truly amazing. The rafting was super fun and very professional. Don't think twice! Go stay with them and do all their activities. I can't wait to be back!

To me this was a whole different way to feel adventure in North America. This is my first time staying outdoors and my second time rafting. I can't deny that I was afraid to do rafting, but I had one of the most professional guides in my boat and Christine made me feel safe and explained to me all that I needed to know in order to enjoy it in a safe way. This place is perfect to do team retreats with colleagues/friends, I spent four amazing days disconnected from my phone/laptop not because there was no internet but because I didn't need to see my phone... I could create a real connection with my people -specially after covid-, and I really enjoyed the bar, restaurant, hot tub, arcade games, bonfires, etc... And I'm 100% that this has strengthened our relationship, so thank you SO much for this amazing experience.…

The overall experience was amazing. The cabins were beautifully designed, with great view on the river and very comfortable with modern amenities. The main lodge was great with delicious food and plenty of space for all to enjoy, and very friendly and welcoming staff. The rafting experience was first class and 5*, soooo fun and yet extremely safe! That hot chocolate was so yummy! Loving the inflatable kayaks too and the equipment was in perfect condition.

Took a solo trip this winter to get some snowmobile miles in, Northern Outdoors couldn't have been a better destination! Direct trail access, fuel and great food on site, very clean and warm accommodations; just an all around excellent establishment that I can't wait to return to next season.
