This quiet resort offers all the restful amenities of a wonderful, relaxing resort, with professional staff, commodious and spacious rooms, and a home away from home. It's right by Inle Lake, which is wonderful for exploring the natural beauty of the area. Motorboats aren't allowed to enter the resort area, which adds to the peace of the area and preserves the air and sound qualities (less pollution). The hotel restaurant food was delicious. Our rooms overlooked the lake, adding to the overall beauty. This isn't a ritzy resort, but it's a calm place where you can soak in the tranquility and rest.

Last Christmas holidays we spent 3 nights at this resort. The location in absolutely unbeatable for a Inle lake stay. It will be the most quiet spot around , cause the motorboats are not allowed to enter the resort area. That is a real blessed thing, because in high season the noise and pollution of al the boats is not very relaxing. This place looks and feels like a little tropical island with the most extra ordinary tropical vegetation all around. We choose to stay in on e of the lake houses, nestled into the green with a fantastic view over the waters. Most beautiful sunset ever, sound of birds and animals everywhere. The houses are very original style , very huge with a lot of taste designed. In the cold winter evenings they will make a colefire in your room. Bathroom could be better, and it all looks a little tired and worn out. There was only a shower outside, and in winter the evenings are very cold, so that was a minus. And why not put some plants into the shower? Now it was a cold muddy place. But of course you are at a very authentic eco resort. that is true, but the price is far too expensive. Specially in High season. But this is quiet normal in Birma! Breakfast served on the lake terras was fresh and fine. Diner at evening inside the restaurant was perfect. the whole atmosphere of the bar and restaurant is a dream! New Years Eve, wonderful calm and tasty, no big Party Party! What a blessing! We felt like Catherine Deneuve in the movie : Indochine !!!!! Service is great, very pleasing and extreme friendly. So , all over, I will absolutely recommend the place! In high season too expensive, but............ ??? Do not expect a bling bling Dazzling 5 star resort, but a small discrete and wonderful little tropical paradise! And don't forget to visit the Spa !!! Thanks! For a really wonderful and relaxing stay Princess stay! By the way the whole Birma trip was beyond imagination! Warm regards Igo van Hoof and Stefan van Loock Belgium

When you arrive by boat, the place were the hotel is located in a small private bay is just incredible. It looks like a small paradise. It is very quiet. The boats have to stop their engines. We had a room along the water. The room was very nice and with a beautiful terrace. The negative points were the following: 1. We were at the beginning of February and it was very cold in the room during the night and early the morning. The hotel installed a very small electrical heater and it was totally insufficient. An another night, we ask the hotel to heat up the chimney. It is also insufficient and the smell and the smoke are very disturbing. So we did not sleep well. 2. The towels of the bathroom were very old and damaged. This is really not normal for a hotel of the price class. 3. The dining room is much too large. There were only a few guests in the hotel (beginning of the corona crisis in China) and we felt completely lost in this big room. 4. The service was kind but not very efficient and not personal. We did not see any director of responsible. It is probably the best hotel along the Lake Inle. But we get the impression that this hotel is suffering financially and not investing any more. It is a little a pity to see a hotel which is not using completely its possibilities. Perhaps it is due to the crisis of the tourism in Myanmar. But it should not prevent you to go to the Inle Princess Resort because the location is fantastic. The Lake Inle is just a jewel !! And the images of these villages on the water will stay in your memory for your life

Situated on a quiet backwater with a rule that boats must cut their engines and paddle in. So a lovely peaceful setting. There is no choice for dinner in the evening other than the hotel restaurant, which is very large and hall-like. Food was good, but not outstanding. Lovely pool. Best rooms are lake front nearer to main buildings (looking west). Very nice room - but beware the step down into the bathroom. We liked the place so much that we had a discussion about whether this was in our ‘top ten all time hotels’. Conclusion was that it was close, but fell outside due to the restaurant design.

Lovely resort, beautiful spacious rooms and great service. Enjoy sunset on the terrace by the lake. Beautiful grounds and gardens. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet or a la carte depending on number of guests? If a la carte day, need to order the eastern option the day before. But an energizing place to stay
