"Borgo da Mare" has its origins in the restoration of two 16th century buildings in the historic centre of Monteprandone, a small medieval fortress town overlooking the seaside resort of San Benedetto Del Tronto. The frescoes, the ancient vaulting, the original floors, the wooden beams, the courtesy of the local people and the tranquillity of this small fortress town will all combine to make your holiday an unforgettable experience.

We have just come back from a week long stay at Residence Borgo da Mare in Monteprandone--what an amazing vacation! The residence is beautifully kept; the room we stayed in was very comfortable and clean; and the views of the quaint little town are just breathtaking! On top of that, Enzo and his staff are the most wonderful people you'll meet: they go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend il Borgo da Mare. Thank you so much for a great stay--we look forward to coming back. Grazie!

My husband and I had a wonderful honeymoon at Borgo Da Mare in Montepradone Italy! We stayed for one week in this picture perfect town and it wasn't enough! First, I would like to thank Enzo and his family for such an amazing experience. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a delicious cocktail Negroni in the courtyard. We were given a tour of the grounds and shown to our lovely apartment. We had a bottle of Local red wine waiting in our room. Our windows opened up into the beautiful stone village. The hotel is nicely renovated and comfortable. The common area includes a game room, pool and laundry room( this was very nice to be able to do our laundry, since we had been traveling for weeks) Great home base. Our Apartment included a small equipped kitchen with a stove and fridge. We would walk to the local grocery store in town and would buy fresh bread, cheese and meats. It was very nice. There are also plenty of restaurants in walking distance. We found our favorite was the pizza restaurant in town. The pizza is very good and the staff was super friendly! Try the Spedini and Olive Ascolane. Ascoli Specializes in the stuffed fried olive. We started our honeymoon trip in London, Paris and traveled to the larger cities of Italy. We made our way to this hidden gem region of Italy, La marche monteprandone. You will not find many tourist in La marche making this a truly unique italian experience. We found that most of the tourists were German. Monteprandone located in the perfect hill town 10 minutes from coastal beach of sanbenedetto del tronto, surrounded by vineyards and beautiful villages in a short driving distance making it perfect for mini day trips. During our stay we went to Ascoli piceno, Gran Sasso, aqua viva. The town is a two hour drive from Rome. We did not go to Rome but plan to land in Rome our next visit and drive down the Via Salaria to La Marche. There are plenty of small family owned vineyards in driving distance, where you can spend an afternoon wine tasting. I know that Aquaviva has had a market selling truffle local specialties. There is so much to do in this region of italy! We were sad to leave! My husband checked out of the hotel and Enzo gave us two bottles of the amazing local wine to bring back with us!! Enzo, Thank you for making us feel right at home. We cannot wait to visit again!
